Ahh..a dog and his stick. Nothing comes between them…except maybe another dog.

Does this photo just say “dog” or what? The subject here is a cute little terrier mix named Chloe who I photographed a few weeks ago (you can see more of her shots here) . Let’s just say the terrier part of her became extremely dominant whenever a ball appeared.
So, have at it, Dogsters. Post your suggestions for a Chloe quote by commenting below and I’ll announce the winner of the 50-Zealie prize next Monday, May 18th.

Boy, you all made it really tough this week. There were so many funny entries that we almost had to toss a coin. However, in the end, dark humor (my favorite) won out and Susan walks away with the 25 Zealies for her sidesplitting quote that just matches this shot perfectly. Nice job, Susan.
Be on the lookout for tomorrow’s Christmas contest. A little hint, it will be starring my dog, Bizzy

I just love the photo for this week’s contest. To me it just says “dog” and doesn’t really require any more explanation. So, in this week before Christmas dig deep, Dogsters, and come back at me with some winning captions. As always, make your suggestions by commenting below and I’ll announce the winner next Monday, December 22nd. The lucky champ scores 25 Zealies and a shot at 15-minutes of fame.

Sometimes it doesn’t pay to involve the judge of a contest in the punchline…but this is not one of those times. This week’s winner, Coffee, takes the gold for a truly funny (and frighteningly accurate) entry. Guess what I found on the bottom of my shoe when I got home after this shoot?
Enjoy the 25 Zealies, coffee. Everyone else be ready for the next contest coming your way tomorrow.

I love it when catch dogs doing something eerily human. This was the case last week on a photo shoot I did for two pups who’ve been together for years and literally act like a couple. When I got back to edit the shots I kept coming back again and again to this one (for obvious reasons)
Let me know what you think they’re whispering to each other and the best suggestion will win 25 Zealies. Just make a comment on this post and replace “What was I thinking?” with your own words. The winner will be announced next Monday, October 6th. Also, be on the lookout for a best-of “What Was I Thinking” edition of the contest coming your way in the next few weeks.

Last week’s photo of a terrier in the midst of a sneeze-yawn (is that a snawn or a yeeze?) garnered a lot of interest with over 260 entries. However, it was Dori, Ruby & Jaime who stood out in the crowd for their clever suggestions below. Well done. Enjoy your 25 zealie prize!
Everyone get ready for a new photo and contest starting tomorrow.

One of the best things about pet photography is the predictable unpredictability of it all. Sometimes you just happen to be there at the perfect moment when a dog or a cat just does something wacky. This week’s shot is a case in point. The dog, a really sweet terrier mix, just decided that it would be a good time to sneeze and yawn simultaneously. Talk about multi-tasking…
Just make a comment on this post and replace “What was I thinking?” with your own suggestion to score 25 Zealies that you can spend in the Gift Shop!
