Sometimes I’m lucky enough to be there with my camera when a pet makes a truly priceless expression. Last week was one of those times down at Ft Funston, a local dog mecca here in San Francisco. The dog, a beautiful pitbull mix named Zev Valentine (love that name!) had just finished playing fetch and was resting on a sand dune when the moment happened.

To get the weekend off to a good start here’s a funny story from Pryor, Oklahoma.
While a man was washing his car at the local car wash his 70 lb. Pit Bull decided it needed another wash.
The dog jumped on the dashboard and sent the car in reverse.
The car backed out of the car wash bay, continued onto a highway and then looped around before coming to a stop at an automated car wash lane.
The car was impounded due to the owner not being able to show insurance. The dog was licensed, city not driver’s, so the owner was allowed to leave with him and walk home.
