As we all know, dogs are capable of absolutely priceless expressions and it certainly makes the job of a pet photographer a fun one. This week’s comes to us courtesy of a nice dog named Pua who I photographed for a program called My Mutt run by a local pet food and supply company here in Northern California. Owners make a donation in the name of their pet to a local rescue group and get a giant poster made of their dog, cat, bunny or any pet that then hangs in the pet store closest to their home.
So, for a chance to win the 50-Zealie prize replace “What Was I thinking?” with your own suggestion by commenting on this post and check back next Monday, March 30th to see the winning quote.

I seem to be going through a French Bulldog phase. This week’s contest features one of my favorite French Bullies — a great little guy named Rockie — and his Labradoodle friend, Taffy. It’s been a while since we’ve tried a dual quote so impress me, Dogsters. Make your quote suggestions by commenting on this post by next Monday, March 2, when the winner is announced and given the 50 Zealie prize.

Looks like we have a classic case of the early bird getting the worm with this week’s contest. Minster JR made the very first post and sunk his teeth into it with a classic line that took the lead and stayed there. Congrats, Minster Jr!! And, by the way, nice job on your Dogster page–you really got into the Halloween spirit this year
Be on the look out for the next contest coming your way tomorrow.

Our very first entry for last week’s contest danced away with the prize. Karen did herself and all other Ethel Merman fans proud with her clever suggestion for what these two dogs on the beach were thinking.
The 25 Zealies are yours, Karen. Well played. Stay tuned for a new contest tomorrow

I took this shot two years ago on September 11th. It was the 5th anniversary of the World Trade Center attack The radio and TV stations were playing it up big time so I decided I needed a breath of fresh air and went down to Ft. Funston, a major dog hangout here in San Francisco. I saw these two playing in the surf and felt better almost immediately
Just make a comment on this post and replace “What was I thinking?” with your own suggestion for both dogs. The winner scores 25 Zealies and will be announced next Monday, August 18th.
