If there are any ’singing’ Dogsters out there, this is the post for you. It appears there’s an underground phenomenon going on around the country, dogs everywhere are crooning to Gwen Stefani’s song Sweet Escape.
Take a look at some hidden video of dogs caught in the act.
Dogster/Catster HQ’s hosted a video contest that ran through October. They received a lot of great entries but in the end they chose Afro Ken (woof!) and Kung Fu Lola (meow!).
Here is Afro Ken like you’ve never seen him before.
Poor Bo has been but in the back of the bookstore and desperately wants to be in the front where he belongs. You can help get Bo get there by buying the book and spreading the word to your doggie loving friends.

In January we posted a great video by Kenn Bell founder of The Dog Files, he travels around the New York tri-state area looking for stories from everyday people to shoot for the show. He covers a range of topics from Bark In The Park to The Wolf Files.
I wanted to give the company a shout out because we just found out they won a Webby, quite the honor.
For those who don’t know, The Webby Awards are the biggest award you can win for something on the web. In our case, it’s for Online Reality Video Series.
Here is what The Webby Awards say about being an Official Honoree: “As a result of the superior quantity and quality of sites entered, the 13th Annual Webby Awards recognized sites and teams that demonstrated a standard of excellence.”
“Of the nearly 10,000 entries submitted to the 13th Annual Webby Awards, fewer than 15% were distinguished as an Official Honoree. This honor signifies an outstanding caliber of work. Congratulations to all of our Official Honoree selections!”
We want to send The Dog Files a big congrats and in honor of their nomination post one of their terrific videos for all to see. This is from their adoption series, Second Chance.
We are pleased to announce an addition to the FTLOD blog, The Dog Files. Founder Kenn Bell offers a video podcast about dogs created exclusively for dog lovers.

My days of being productive at work, at home and even in my sleep are now gone. In fact, I’ll have to put my solution to end world hunger on the back burner until these guys are grown.
On the brighter side of things, at least we’re all generating some heat…you know…it’s that warm funny feeling coming from our bellies.

Ever wonder what it would look like if your dog could talk?
There’s a fun site called Blabberize where you take a picture of your pet, combine it with a bit of technology, and end up with pet blabber.
For those that are tecno challenged, not to worry. It’s really easy, you upload a photo and use a drawing tool to mark out where the mouth is, then record the audio using computer’s mic or you can even call it in.
