Imagine the difference one dog can make in the world. Earl, the muse behind the comic strip “Mutts,” has passed to the Rainbow Bridge. Earl was 18.
Through the Mutts comic strip, Earl was able to reach millions of humans with his message of care and concern for our furfriends. People who otherwise would never have thought twice about the treatment of our dog and cat symbiotes have learned that chaining dogs is bad and that our furkids dream with us.
Earl, you will be missed here but I have no doubt your influence will continue to be felt from the Bridge.

It’s fitting that Bandit, who served the people of Chandler, should receive a public celebration of his life. Doing otherwise is a disgrace. Bandit did nothing wrong and he has nothing to be ashamed of. He should be honored and remembered.

It’s a sad week in San Francisco. Michael James Keenan, the hero who rain into a burning building to save a dog, has died. Our hearts go out to his family.
His was a good and worthy life. I have no doubt he was given true hero’s welcome at the Bridge.

I’ve been writing this blog for over a year now and Dogsters’ greatness of heart still continues to amaze me. Dutchess left unexpectedly and tragically for the Rainbow Bridge a little while ago. She was young and vibrant. Her death was a shock to her family and friends.
