Dakota, a beautiful German shepherd, had spent 18 hours per day living in a crate. He was given a new life by a woman with MS, and in return, he has given her a new life.
Thank you for all the heartwarming stories you share with us. Each time I watch one of your stories where the dog rescues the person, I see how amazing the world can be if we let it.
Wow, what an amazing story. I am in tears! I, too, have MS, so this was especially touching to me. Thank you for sharing this! What a wonderful “team” they make.
Laurie,
Best of luck. If your dog isn’t quite a Dakota, don’t give up hope. It takes time, and you might be able to find some help in training (perhaps free of charge). You may already have this. We’re pulling for the two of you!

What a great story! Thanks for posting it.
I also have MS. I have a canine companion that I am training to help when I need it, so this story of course moved me to tears.
