Howard Stern Goes To The Dogs
Howard Stern is well know for his ‘no holds barred’ attitude when it comes to his radio show, but did you know he actually has a softer side when it comes to dogs?
Stern and his new wife, Beth Ostrosky Stern, helped raise quite a bit of money for the North Shore Animal League.

Q: Why are you so passionate about the North Shore Animal League?
B: Their mission is incredible. It’s so important that they are a no-kill shelter. Their facility is above and beyond everything I’ve ever seen in my entire life. They go on rescue missions that are absolutely incredible, they shelter these dogs, rehabilitate them, and find loving homes for over 20,000 animals a year, and that to me is the most inspirational thing ever.
H: We’re here tonight because we love animals. Beth really does the grunt work with North Shore Animal League and loves animals and has been involved with animal rescue her whole life. She puts her money where her mouth is, having just raised $300,000 with the [NYC] Marathon money for North Shore Animal League.
The North Shore Animal League is the biggest no-kill shelter in America.

It’s hard for me to separate my feelings about Howard’s public persona from his private life. I just hope he doesn’t let his psycho-sick sense of humor slop over to his treatment of dogs.

Love Howard!! I listen to him every day on Sirius. He is always talking about the North Shore Animal League and the work Beth does for them.
I LOVE Howard Stern!!! I listen to his show faithfully and he loves his dog, Bianca. I’ve even heard him pleading for his listeners to look for lost dogs in the NY area. He use to bring his black lab into the studio a lot.
Listen daily…Howie is a top citizen in this country. Take that FCC / Religious Riech! A positive Stern article???? Oh no!
