Sorta looks like my puppyhood, …and beyond!
I ordered my copy! I can’t wait until it is delivered and mom reads it to me every night before bed!
It kinda looks like our puppy years. Tipper: Mama didn’t think I’d ever stop chewing on her wood stuff around the house, dresser, night stand, window pane. she even threatened to make me an out side dog a time or two, really more. And she really couls not spank since i’d do it when she wasn’t home. You know they if you don’t catch us as we do it, you spank and we don’t know why. But I finally out grew it. She’d never had a dog child who chewed like I did, even into my early adult hood. Oreo: I kinda liked wicker, didn’t chew much of it up, but the basket Mama kept our toys in. I was pretty much a good boy. Lady: Now I was another story when Mama took me from the streets. I guess I was the most destructive of all of us. I was maybe 6 to 9 months old. I chewed and tore everything up from carpet to furniture. Recliner, wing back chair and oh the couch, tore all of one outer end of it, Mama taped it all back with clear packing tape. The recliner was just the arms and the wing back just the binding around the bottom. Mama still has it. It was about the only thing furniture wise she could keep since there really wasn’t appearing damage there, just pulled the strip off from the bottom. Then there was some sheet rock. And I was about the hard headiest of the three. She could spank and spank, it did no good then she learned what bothered me most, “time out” so she started using that. When I was bad she’d put me in a room by myself for a time out. Then we spent some time in foster while we had no home and they would put my in a 10 x 10 run all alone, that really straightened me out. Ever now and then, I’ll chew on the corner of a coushion or bed pillow. It usually occurs when I hump it. I know I’m a girl and not suppose to do that only boys do, but my brothers do not, so hey I do them and pillows. Yes I’m spayed but it is fun. I just want to tell Bo, girls can be bad to the bone as well. I was bad.
We’re just past the Maxi or Mini part. So far, so funny. Bo has a literary style many human writers would envy.

OooooooooooooooooooH! You are a naughty boy! I love it! I barked at Mommy that I she just has to get the book and read it to me. I need to learn some new and wiser ways to be naughty and I think you are just the dog to teach me.

When mom read the part about the cradle…She laugh on the spot, and she laughed again while she was at work telling the story to her boss and she laughed again in bed because she think about it just before she fell asleep. She don’t remember if she dream about it ! BOL You sure know how to tell a story Bo ! We want your pawtograph !

Bo…you are amazing! Look what you did, single pawedly, to that room. Your book in enroute even as we speak, due to arrive on October 13. Mom can not wait – she wants a good laugh. I want to get my choppers on the book for another secret purpose, but I am not allowed to “read” the books for some reason. Anyway, love the video. You’re cute.

Thank you on behalf of the entire Hoefinger clan for all the great comments. This book is really going to move by word of mouth, with all your support we know we can get Bo into every bookstore and not just stuck in the pet section. Upfront, where he belongs.
I am so glad the book is making people laugh, that was the whole point of writing it. Hopefully it will bring back all the funny times you have had with your own dog. If your beloved pup is no longer with you it’s a book meant to bring back the happy memories, no sad stuff here.
