Pitbull Mix Puppies Left In Trashbag To Die, Need Home

Horst Hoefinger

A Dogster member found out about the plight of Petey and Polly and is trying to help their rescuer find them a loving forever home. They are currently located in the Corning, Ohio area.

Petey and Polly, pit bull mix puppies, are 1 of 3 rescued at 2 days old. Long story short, their mother was shot, and her litter put into a garbage bag to suffocate.

Kayla was able to save 3 of these cuties, but unfortunately the rest of the litter died. They were born 6-25-09, and are now 8 weeks old.  They’ve had a Bordetella vaccine and will get their first DHPP vaccine next week. Both are current on deworming and vet checks.

Petey and Polly are very special and need a loving home to live out their days.  Small adoption donation is to help cover the cost of puppy milk and vet bills. Neuter and spay contract required.

If you are interested in adopting either one you can reach Kayla at (740) 394-2854 or(740) 856-7119.  You can contact her via email , and  also visit  Petey and Polly’s Petfinders pages if you like.

  2. Barbara, Tipper, Oreo and Lady

They are so adorable and cute a pie. I don’t understand how some humans can be so cruel. You mentioned there are three, what about the third, has he already found a home?

What sweet babies …I found my kitty Tom J.Katt in a paper sack with his sibs and he only surivived. He was one day old approximately. Tom is now 12 years old.. a different kitty cuz he had no kitty Momma. He is as sweet as the day is long.

I have no idea how anyone could be so heartless. I hope Peter and Polly finds a home who will spoil them a lot. They have such sweet sweet faces I want to kiss them.

people can be so cruel, this could of been prevented by spaying the mother if puppies were not wanted. My cat Sammy was abandoned on the side of the road approximately 3 weeks old luckily an elderly couple rescued him and 2 siblings. Before he was abandoned he was burnt with a cigarrete on his toes and part of his tail was missing. He lived at the vets for 5 weeks healing from his injuries which the elderly couple paid for. I adopted him when he was approximately 8 weeks old and had him fixed at the age of 6 months, which the couple paid for also. I hope the puppies can find a safe and loving home, as an animal lover it sickens me how cruel someone can be to a dog or cat.

    Hey, Horst

Thank you so much for trying to find homes for so many abandoned dogs. That’s very kind of you.

Ugh…some people are just so cruel! They’re so cute…

This reminds me of Angel. Angel was found under a drainage pipe at about three months old. THREE MONTHS! And she must have been even younger when she was abandoned. How could anyone be so heartless?!
