Inside Dog-Fighting’s Brutal World Photos
On CBSnews.com you can view a special sideshow which takes a look inside dog-fighting’s brutal world.
Dogs are rescued from a St. Louis, Mo., location by Humane Society officials July 8, 2009, part of what federal officials call the largest dog-fighting bust in American history. More than 350 mostly American Pit Bull Terrier dogs were rescued in at least five states. (Photo: AP Photo/St. Louis Post-Dispatch)

there,s a place in hell for people who do that to dogs and to animals! the same thing ought to be done to the people who did that, that was done to the dogs.maybe people who do this sort of thing shouold recieve the death sentence.maybe it would send a message that dog fighting will not be tolerated.
i hope they rot in hell!!!!!!
maybe give them a jail cell with one of the dogs as a cellmate???
as the owner of a rescued pit (duff), they are truly a product of their environment. ours is loving, caring, and a cupcake. he lives in our own little “petting zoo”. we have 3 dogs, a cat, a dwarf rabbit, a dwarf hamster, and a gecko. all of which he gets along with. the rabbit even nips at the duff’s nose and duff just licks him.
I used to think all pit bulls were dangerous until I fostered one. She was just a wonderful dog and a joy to have in my home. I loved and miss her dearly.
I really hope these people are put away for a long time just so they can experience the “pleasures” of prison.
As a pit own this breaks my heart. These animals are the most loyal breed of dog I have ever owned and I will never own another dog other than a pit! God Bless those that cannot be saved, and damnation for those who have created this!
It breaks my heart everytime I hear about cruelty to animals.
We MUST stand together and contact both State and Federal Officials to express our outrage at the piddly sentences and fines given.
Animals are warm living beings and it is up to us to speak for them and fight for them.
Please!
I agree that the enforcement of animal cruelty laws AND harsh punishments are the only way to get the creeps that do this stuff to stand up and pay attention. If they think they won’t get more than a slap on the wrist, this will never end. I don’t know about you, but I know there is a lease law in my state, but ROUTINELY see dogs off leash in situations that could endanger them (i.e. near busy streets) and have NEVER seen anyone being given a ticket, let alone a warning for having their dog off lease. The laws mean nothing if they are not enforced consistently and with fine/sentences that get peoples’ attention. Every dog deserves to be treated humanely!!

all this needs to be on the big 3 networks, Not only on blogs, or online sites. More needs to be done to teach the public about what is really going on Behind not only the abused suffering animals. but the so called ARnimal rights groups,. HSUS butt out, Anyone out there that actually helps these dogs from an individual to the pit rescue groups all need support., funding and more to ban this, Stop the Actuall abusers, Take the 32million that HSUS got and demand they use it to help these dogs.
It is SO sad that things like this still happen. We DO need to have stricter laws and stricter punishments.
I agree with Malcolm…put them in a cell with one or two of the dogs. Of course, this just continues cruel and inhumane treatment…and fuels hate, too. Erg..!
As long as we live in a society that “okays” and supports mass breeding of cows and chickens and thinks nothing of eating animals that are living in daily hells, we will have a society that sees animals as lower creatures.
Please watch the documentary “Earthlilngs” as it really gives a rude awakening to how we “use” animals (food, entertainment, medical). Beware: It is very graphic, very sad, and very TRUE.
These acts are so cruel and only apply to the human condition… No other animals do this to amuse themselves. What a SICK society we live in! What really gets me though, is how people seem to have forgotten Vick’s case and how it proved that these dogs CAN be rehabilitated….
“More than 350 mostly American Pit Bull Terrier dogs were rescued in at least five states.”
That statement bothers me. They weren’t really rescued in my opinion. Just going from a yard to a pen to be euthanized by court order is not rescuing a dog – it’s just ending the dog’s misery… no rescue there. I want to seem them rehabilitated. I personally LOVE APBTs and know quite a few… even plan on adopting a female when I can afford to feed another dog. They are very loving dogs. Just because most of them will be dog aggressive doesn’t mean they have to be adopted into homes with other dogs. Those dogs were not made to be human aggressive (BIG difference), and fighting is something those evil people TRAIN them to do. And, I agree… We need MUCH stricter laws on this. No more slaps on the wrist!!!!! And they (all of them arrested) should NEVER be allowed to have another animal of any kind.
wow, seeing things like this makes me furious! i just cant believe people do this. i have a pit and she is the best dog in the world. im just glad that i havent encountered anyone who fights dogs for fun because id have fun mopping the floor with thier stupid face. its a good feeling that this ring was stopped but what to do with 350 fighting dogs. unfortunatly i know what will happen to most but hopefully some will be saved. if i could id take em all. i just hope politics doesnt get in the way of justice. ugh its just so incredibly sad. hell isnt even a fit enough punnishment
I really dont care if I offend someone when I say this, but, Those who decide they want to get a fighting ring going, and end up getting caught, they need ot have everyone of those dogs bite the everloving hell out of them while they stand there naked and being handcuffed by one inch thick chains. Why? Those dogs are brought into this world with the expectations that they will be in a loving home with a great family. Not a fighter dog or an aggressive dog. I hope a law will pass that something like this will happen. Th ePits are being treated inhumane and the people need to be treated the same way.
My wife and I are VERY PROUD owners of 4 beautiful Pits and they are the best Breed to Ever have. People like these need to be treated the same way the dogs are treated. With 14 pounds per square inch of biting power, those Dogs would have a hayday with those people who put them in that situation. Burn in hell a**holes.
I hate hearing about dog fighting, I have two pit bulls and they are the best breed of dogs that I have ever owned. Their pesonality is just amazing and the love they have to offer is just unconditional. I could never imagine them being hurt like all the dogs you hear about. My heart goes out to them and I agree that the people involved in dog fighting should get the death sentence serves them right.
THE LAW MUST BE CHANGED TO REALLY PUNISH PEOPLE WHO DO THIS TO DOGS OR ANY ANIMAL NOT A MERE SLAP ON THE WRIST
COURTS SHOULD MAKE AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT WILL HAPPENED TO ANYONE WHO COMMITS SUCH A HORRIBLE SICK CRIME
I HAVE TO LAUGH NOW MIKE VICK IS WORKING WITH CHILDREN WHICH IS NOTHING BUT A CON JOB TO GET BACK INTO FOOTBALL
I THINK WE SHOULD DO AS THE ROMANS DID FEED THESE PEOPLE TO THE LIONS I WOULD PAY FOR A TICKET TO SEE THAT
Thank goodness the Humane Society recently changed its policy about immediately disposing of fighting dogs. Hopefully enough shelters will come forward so the dogs can be tested and hopefully saved.
I’m so embarrassed that this happened in STL .That is my hometown. People who think that this sort of senseless cruelty is acceptable are one of the reasons I don’t live there anymore. How shameful!!
i will adopt one!!send me one, they will be good family dog, pitbulls are made out to be nasty but they can be the nicest family dogs i really don’t agree what so ever with dog fighting, it makes me sick that people get into watching one animal mutilate and harm the other, and all the “training” they put them through, it makes me sick, the people who do this deserve a bullet and the dogs deserve a chance for a real life with loving familys, i know some will be past the point but its not fair, i can only wish and dream that every pet had a good loving home, and yes i realize this is too much to ask, they need to be taught a lesson, they need to feel the pain they have inflicted on those dogs and they need to live with it, they are human and should know better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tina, I think you need to check your facts a little. The HSUS was instrumental in rehabilitating almost all of the dogs seized in the Michael Vick case. There as even a special on televsion, PBS I think about these dogs.
Yes, the HSUS raises lots of money, but do you have any idea of the time, training and equipment that makes these raids possible to rescue these animals, and defend it in court so they are not returned to these “owners”? Just because the animals are confiscated does not mean they will automatically be killed.
If everyone that commented on this one blog wrote their representatives both in Washington and locally, this would stop. Getting angry and doing nothing does not help these animals. Please, people get involved.
This is the most sicking and most horriable story ever! My son has a American Staffshire Pit and he is the most loving animal and best friend ever. I take him for walks/runs to the doggy park and we have ice cream after for a treat.
You will stand in judgement someday, these are God’s animals, read the bible and see what it says!
I have an adopted pit bull (Staffie) mix from Chicago. She came with much baggage and also some serious illness, which she still is experiencing five years later. She is the most intelligent and most sensivtive dog I have ever owned. She is my dog of a lifetime. And it is very likely that our time together is coming to an end in the next year, because of her illness. The world we live in is very strange. People have lost their way. If we also partake in the same mentality, we are also like them in their sickness. Are we like them in their sickness? The people who do this to dogs (and themselves) are sick and need help. They are not human garbage. Their deeds should be forgiven so that they may find the road to health. This is not to say that what they are doing is OK. It is, rather, a cry for help. Obviously the law will deal with them as it sees fit, as it is set up to handle people in this state of being. But we as people who love pit bull dogs and understand why they will do what is asked of them, should not also act as a dog who is trained to kill. These people will need to come to terms with their deeds in this lifetime or some other. This is not for us to determine.
I am so sick to my stomach about this. I’m so thankful for the people to organize these rescue missions. Not only am I going to write my elected official but also send a thank you to those in St. Louis.
Why do people do this to dogs? My nieghbor wont even let his pitbull come near my dog though just today the got close and sort of just sniffed each other. Amstaffs, Pit bulls ect are a beatifull dog and I have met quite a few that are very friendly and playfull if their owners will let them. The penalty for pitbull fighting or any dog fight should be 25 to life.
It is just not right to treat a trusting friendly animal this way.
How dare someone use the love and loyalty of such a loving breed to use it dog fighting my heart aches for all the animals lost in this savage undertaking.not only has this wonderful breed been given a bad rap for this but i belive that no punishment in my mind could ever be severe enough. the loss is to much
Something must be put into place that finally really punishes and holds the humans responsible for what they’re doing to animals. They’re destroying fine animals and all for sick “pleasure” by taking advantage of a breed that especially loves to do whatever his or her humans want.
Like many of the others, I’ve also never seen a “dangerous” pit bull. Closest I’ve seen to dangerous was one who got so happy about nice people that she’d try “wagging” everything starting at about her shoulders to make up for the tail she didn’t have and she wasn’t always the most in control of herself when doing that…wag, wag, whack (or thud). Still, happy dog.
With very few exceptions (and the exceptions usually being due to bad breeding), dogs have to be TRAINED to be mean and aggressive – i.e. “dangerous”. At the very least, they have to be totally neglected and left devoid of all human contact so that they’re not properly socialized or obedience trained. This isn’t the fault of the DOG when it happens – it’s the fault of the OWNER. That it tends to happen mostly with certain breeds doesn’t cause a “dangerous breed”, it merely reveals a trend among dangerous and irresponsible OWNERS. It’s past time to quit holding dogs responsible for their owners behaviors. It’s also waaaaay past time to put a stop to dog fighting as “entertainment” or “sport”.
These soulless and truly sub-human creatures (clearly I’m talking about the organizers of such an atrocious act) will see justice served when they face their makers but some extreme justice needs to happen now and I would surely love to strip the flesh from their bodies piece by piece after which I would put them in the ring with the very dogs they were so cruel to so they (the dogs) might have their day. These awful people should be made to suffer in the same manner as those tortured dogs!!! I hope the faces of these people are splashed across every paper and tv station so everyone can know who they are!!! Let’s hope they never get the opportunity to do this to another helpless animal!!!!
As for those dogs that passed, rest assured they crossed the rainbow bridge and are now free of the pain and only know love, warmth and happiness!
YES!! I’m of your opinion! Make them feel excactly the way they made those poor dogs feel. You know though that dogs are so forgiving, that even these awful specimens of mankind might find forgivness in these loving dogs. I can’t believe how people can act at times.Let the stripping of flesh begin!
My heart cries for these babies. I had a pit and she sat with kids at the school bus..This is so underserved. I cant even put it into words, how much I hate those people..I dont usually use the word ‘hate’ but I HATE them !!
Yes, thank you in St Louis !!! You are heroes..to all those that put a small dent into this terrible crime,,THANK YOU !!
The pit bull to these IMF thugs is associated with their fried up mucho image! Big time celebrity football heros…i.e. da brothas who are BORED with themselves- Vick -with the big bux they make and have to find other ‘outlets’ to while away their time! Oh that dumb sh** will be back in the football arena shortly. When dogs are thought in a more humane manner with 24/7 vigilance, then there will be changes for the better…but until…..its the same ole same ole bs that goes round and round in a vicious circle
I’m so glad to know these people were caught. Hopefully the legal process will put them where they belong…behind bars in a 6′x7′ room. They will be lucky not to have to drag a chain around their necks although they may have to fight to survive while incarcerated. The dogs are not to blame and deserve a second chance. To kill them would be wrong. They didn’t come into this world to fight. They were like every other puppy at one time, wanting love and companionship, not to fight to entertain people with nothing better to do.
There are a lot of sick people out there. No creature deserves being submitted to such abuse for the amusement of humans. What kind of people enjoy watching dogs tear each other apart????? I don’t have a pit but have met some very sweet ones and I don’t believe they deserve their reputation. Most of the ‘problem’ pits have STUPID humans. Thank goodness for the shelters and animal lovers that help these dogs!
Those people deserve to be punished and obviously are mentally sick. My family and I love dogs and it breaks our hearts. It’s a good thing that the Humane Society came to rescue them. I hope those people will suffer.
We do have this problem in Aus too. They have now been listed as dangerous dogs. It is unfair, we should list the owners who have made them this way as “dangerous”!!!! It makes me physically ill. Am glad there are people out there like myself who actually care, and do something about it.

These people are just sick !!!!!! Animals are like children. They need to be loved & well cared for…My heart breaks everytime I hear a story like this. Don’t forget puppy mills. They also need to be stopped…..
you know i think people who hurt animals i have no pity for what i would like to do to them put them in a pen no water no food in the hot sun and watch them suffer and i would put a biggest chain around there neck and then i would put those dogs in there with them just long enought for them to get even i cant help it makes me sick to my stomach i hate hate the people who mistreat animals
I hate to see things like this in the news, I really do. I wonder do these people stop and think about the dogs. These dogs are human just like us. They have souls too. Its not our place to treat them anything less than how we treat ourselves.
Rhonda, Tina’s facts are correct. The HSUS had nothing to do with rehabilitating the Vick dogs. In fact, HSUS advocated to kill all of the Vick dogs. It was the court appointed guardian and organizations like Best Friends and Bad Rap that fought to save the dogs.
As dog lovers we cannot stupe to their cruelty level and wishing the same fate happens to the sub-human’s We need larger fines, jail sentence’s not house arrest. The name of the offenders and all those watching the cruel fight to be fined and charges laid as well as their name to be published in the newspapers and on the internet. For all to see.
what is so sad about what happen is because of being trained 2 fight the out come of thease perious furbabies the out come may of destoryed alot of thease pup,s so very sad a pit bull is the most loveing&sweet animal ever 2 many are lost in shelter,s i know i post every day 2 try &save them and they are the frist 2 be put down love deb&rock 4the wolf,s&fur babies
As i read this page i look at my 6yr old rednose pit Dozer and think of how happy he is and how much he loves life . I’m sure thats all those dogs wanted in their lives as well . The people that violated these animals rights to achieve such happiness will be punished in some way or another . No bad deed goes unpunished . My only solice is that for these dogs the torment is over . For others its still a way of life , if you could call it that . We all need to do something today , it can be something small , but something , to end this . Be proactive to stop pitbull fighting and animal abuse . TODAY
We need to put the people that did this on chains like they did the dogs for punishment and then let them fight each other to the death. What is wrong with this world? We need to change the law. Hell will be waiting for them.
the real animals are the people who train dogs to fight they should be put in a small cell with heavy chains around their necks and just enough food to keep them alive then beat them over and over then put them in a pit to fight to the death thats what they deserve
I see ppl suggesting that the offenders be jailed with a few of their victims. If only that would work. I in no way, shape or form condone this heinious form of abuse but I did work with a man that had been a one time dog fighter. I’d always thought, once a fighting dog, always a fighting dog, but was informed this is not true. Nor are the dogs aggressive towards the ppl putting them in such a horrible situation. The opposite is apparently true, which makes sense. These dogs are very capable of injuring or killing a human and are trained from birth NOT to be aggressive towards them. So sadly, there will never be any revenge for any of these dogs. Bless them though, not a one of them expect it. So if you want true justice for these dogs, stick them in a cell with some real and not-so-civilized dog lovers and just “get distracted” for a moment =) I’d happily wield a bat for 5 minutes for these wonderful animals that will undoubtably be put to sleep now because they did what they were trained to do. It just makes me sick. Think I”ll go hug my own babies and drop by the neighbors to play with their ever so sweet pit. We may all just be individuals and think there’s nothing we can do, but if each of us can enlighten 2 ppl and they do the same, we CAN enlighten the world. Opening our hearts and wallets just isn’t enough, we MUST OPEN OUR MOUTHS and make ourselves heard!
We both are just appalled at all this dogfighting. Tank is a Pit Bull & I would NEVER dream of fighting him. I hope all those people get prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I really hate people that mistreat any kind of animal. We agree with all of the statements that these people should all be chained like the dogs were.
Just an additional thought, but does anyone know if there’s anything like the sexual offender’s registry for ppl like this? Seems to me, if a neighborhood was informed that a former dog fighter was living amongst them the animal lovers in the neighborhood would help the officials keep an eye of them. I know I would and I’m sure all of you would to. I wouldn’t be able to pick Vick out of a line up as things stand today. Perhaps a letter writing campaign to make laws informing the public of these abusers would start the ball rolling in the right direction. If half the number of ppl that protest sharing their communities with sexual offenders protested sharing their communities with dog fighters, change would happen, at least I hope it would.
This is why people should have to have a special permit/license to own a pitbull.I think those who are just wanting pets are being selfish and not considering what is happening to these poor dogs. Those that breed them are even more selfish. If a special permit were required then it would be harder for those dogfighters to get away with it.Having more then a few pitbull dogs would obviously be a warning bell to those issueing the permits.
Save these poor dogs and quit being selfish just so you can have a “cool” pet.I truly believe that most people cant properly train them anyway..Put the welfare of the dogs first. Im sure there will always be a way around the law but all we can do is try.
perhaps Im wrong but its a solution I see that might work.
Is there any way someone could adopt one of these poor dogs? We have a female pit, spayed and could take a male. This is such a wonderful breed that has gotten such a bum rap due to the evil thugs who have exploited them. Does anyone have more details?
As an animal rights advocate, I am elated to see that these scumbags have been caught.
They should have the horror done to them that they have instilled on these poor defenseless animals. Wrap chains around their necks and treat them as these animals were treated. They should be given larger fines and much longer jail sentences and have to pay for rehabilitating these dogs if possible. They were able to do this with the dogs from the Michael Vicks case.
Yep these mornons ‘fly on strange wings’ and as long as they can get away with murder-LITERALLY!
Its up to us…yes I written, email the folks in my state-but there are 49 others! One thing to do is not support these mayhem celebs like VictheDik. (That will send the message) With all the money they make and they have to resort to such lowlife bs!
The law is too eazy on these fry-ups1 Longer sentenes WITH PAROLE DENIED SHOULD BE in order! But when $ talks….bs walks!
This isa such a waist of a life we have had to rescue a puppy from some one that wanted to kill the puppy her name is missy may and she is beautiful dog now we had to hide her because they passed a law in Windsor ont. that it is illegal to have any new ones in Windsor ont. because of people like this people have to pay alot of money every year to have the ones that were here first before the made this change Missy my is a beautiful pit lab mix wen i lived in Brantford I could not even feel safe walking buster because of those bad people that teach them bad things it was a night mare and my dog has hip Dysplasia so that is why i was concerned and they have very powerful jaw’s but if the right person owns on them they are very good and loyal dogs with any dog you need to train them and bring them up right this makes me sick what they do we found missy may a home in ont. were it is legal to very good family.
Well when I was a kid my Daddy said anyone who abused animals, children,or the elderly that death was to good for them he said they should take them out to the swamp the gators would get them. That sounds about right to me to do to people who cause so much pain to one of the best and most loyal breed of dogs there is!!!!!
Disgusting! It just sickens me knowing that there are people out there that could do this sort of thing to dogs especially Pittbulls. They are some of the most loving dogs I know. We found one that had been placed in our gated and locked backyard by it’s previous owner. He may have been a month old and was so neglected and sick he was nearly dead. We rushed him to the Vet and found out that he had not been fed in days and had gotten a puppy staph infection. His poor face was all swollen and puss was gobbed in his eyes. It was heartbreaking to say the least. Other than some scars he is doing very well these days. The only danger with him, getting your face licked to death lol. I sincerely hope the scum that has been doing this rots in jail for the rest of their miserable lives. After that God can take over.
Actually – for those who think the dogs should be locked with the owners so the people will supposedly be attacked:
Pit Bulls (Staffordshire Terriors rather) were bred to attack bulls – then for dog fighting – NEVER humans – and if one bit a handler, he/she was killed. This is WHY Pits are such great and loving animals – they were bred to handle such enormous amounts of stress. But – even though they were bred to fight – it’s still rare to breed a true fighter. So most Pits are loving AND can handle a lot of stress. And if you think a Pit should be locked up with the handler/owner as a solution to the problem – you are probably right – but only because the people need to learn empathy. And learning to truly care for another animal is some of the best medicine these people can find. Imagine being raised in an environment without love, and where you are beaten all the time. Understand the plight of the animals, AND the people, and maybe we can solve this.
As a dog trainer, lover and humanitarian, greenpeacer, Christian, the world is evil!!!! What is Dog backwords? God!!! So stop it,it’s like getting 2 two year olds and putting AK7’s in their hands and putting them in a ring, what the?is wrong with the mentallity of these people!!!! I work with the most aggressive dogs and have had to pull pits off of other dogs, yet not once have I ever looked at them as a bad breed. They are so smart and so lovable it’s not even funny, come on God needs to strike down these people it is pure evil!!!!

I have said it before, punishments for violent crimes against people..murder, child abuse, rape ect…..do not have severe enough punishments. People that are involved in these dog fights have NO thought for other living creatures (human OR animal) and are the ones committing these crimes against people. To be able to submit these poor innocent dogs to this torture is twisted, sick and inhuman. Yes, they should have HARD punishments for them as they SHOULD have for allot of other crimes. All they seem to get is a slap on the wrist. I wish I could save ALL the dogs and all the children.
here in america we are free and able to move around and live a wonderful life. that is a given. for people who invade that right an animal has for profit or just ignorance need to be shown the same sort of life. if humans want to be dumb enough to get in the ring and beat one another to death thats their right it is concidered a sport but dogs and other animals do as their taught because all they want to do is please their owner. then when this happens owners are slapped on the hand and the dogs are uthinized maybe we should uthinize the humans and try to rehabilitate the animal.
We can all help stop dog fighting by petioning for laws that would make the act of training and breeding dogs for fighting a federal offense with a minimum fine of $25,000 and a jail term of no less than 5 yrs. for first offenders. We also need to write or call your state representatives to increase the budgets of local animal control agencies so they can more actively patrol for such operations that are suspect in nature. Right now most agencies are under staffed and lack the legal rights to even investigate suspected training or breeding operations. So make that call now!
The world represented such evil and pain for those dogs. My hope is that they may come to receive some level of human compassion and enjoy the world through safe and loving homes.
I have been complaining on my FaceBook site about a dog in our area being chained up in the hot sun with only a hot dog house to enter. This is hotter than standing chained in the sun. One of these pictures looked like the same dog except I live in WV. Where I live there is no humane society. Since my postings I haven’t seen the dog out. Doesn’t mean he’s not there, just that he could be on the other side of the cabin. What I’m wondering is this the reason the dog is chained like this? Is he being prepped for a fight??? I stated that they should chain themselves up just one day and see how the dog feels. This is just wrong. Thank goodness it was discovered and the dogs were saved.
i saw the pics of the dogs. i’m so glad they got rescued. on may 14 2009 i was on my way to work (nightshift)i saw a dog sitting on the roadside. i remember thinking:oh my goodnes. i stoped got out of my truck and called the dog. it came “flying”. after it came closer i found out it was a rednose pittbull. she(now sonja) was full of bitemarks and soars. very skinny and a sad side.i took her home.come to find out that she was full with hoockworms. i gave her meds for it.now after 2 month she ganed herweight back and is the sweetest and most loving dog one could own. i have 4 other dogs, all are mixed bread. sadly to say i can’t never let them together, but they see eachother through my screend door. when i come home from work it is a joy to see how happy sonja is. she is about 18 month old. shr gonna stay with me. if i could, i would take more pitts in,but i don’t have the roon for it.i can and never will understand what can be so great about a dogfight. when i tell people i have a pitt, they automaticly say:oh thaey mean. because tha’s all they know. they forget why they mean.a pitt is a social dog just like a poodle. all they want is love and attention.yes the law need to be strikter on thies fighting rings. thies animals do DESERVE a GOOD LIFE.
SORRY FOR MY TYPOS.
What a horrible, cruel life for these dogs. Can’t help but cry when seeing the dirt circles around there houses indicating how they were chained on a short leash and not even able to lay in a nice spot of grass. So very terrible and I wish these crimes could be pursued even more seriously. Animal cruelty is a major problem in the U.S. and I only hope more people will take an interest in this and help advance the causes for animals. Whenever I make a donation it is ALWAYS for animal organizations because I feel this is seriously an issue and does not get the financial support it so desperately needs.
Pits get a bad rap…they really are some of the sweetest, kindest breeds EVER! They don’t deserve this.
