		<description>Dixie received a shock from a lightpole across from a school just last week.  I wrote about it in her diary.  Luckily, the shock didn&#039;t cause grave injury to her nose.  However, a small dog was electrocuted walking over an electrical access sidewalk panel here in downtown Chicago last year.</description>

		<description>This is a serious problem!  Pet owners may be able to help their pets stay safe by avoiding certain metal plates etc, but service dog may not have handlers that can detect these dangers.  We need to make our streets and sidewalks safe for our pets and our working animals!</description>
