petLINENS Luxury Dog Bed Contest
Horst Hoefinger

I want to congratulate Emma CSD, she was the winner of the Fetch A Bed contest.  If anyone deserves a new bed it’s that hard working gal.

Now it’s time for the third and final ‘Mattress Madness’ giveaway. We are going to be giving away TWO luxury beds from petLINENS.

You’ve created a beautiful home. It’s filled with things you truly love. You also love your pets, and want them to have their own comfortable place with the rest of the family. So, right in the middle of your well-decorated home is – a big, ugly, pet bed.

petLINENS are like no other pet bed. Made of rich, yet durable fabrics, these are pet beds you don’t have to hide. They’re beautiful accessories that add a decorative accent to any home. Available in a wide selection of chic fabrics and patterns, you’ll find a pet bed that will complete your look, no matter what your d’cor.

I also love my dogs, Maddie and Sam, so I made sure that my petLINENS cushions are super-cozy. Made of high-grade, extra-soft poly-fill, they’ll give your pet a soft place to rest for a long, long time.

We have one of petLINENS beds and I can vouch for how nice they are. The bed I ordered is so soft and comfy that I wouldn’t mind sleeping on it. Or better yet, maybe the dogs will get off our bed and onto their own. The slipcovers for the bed are top of the line quality. You get two slipcovers with your order so you always have a clean one available, or you can just change it if you want a different look. You can see from the picture above that petLINENS has a range of choices, something for everyone’s, or everypup’s, liking.

The fine folks at petLINENS have been generous enough to offer up two beds, a 32″ round and an x-large rectangle, both come with two designer slipcovers.  Go to petLINENS site to check out all the details.

To win a bed you need to enter our Pillow Talk contest. While sleeping on a luxurious petLINENS bed, who would your fuzzy friend’s first choice be to share his pillow talk time with, and why?

For instance, our boy Bo tells me he’d invite Fifi Sherman for some one on one time on his new bed. He’d like to find out, once and for all, whether Fifi was responsible for putting match to box and burning down Atlanta oh so many years ago.

Second choice, Cujo. Why? Just because he’s an international superstar in the canine world.

Be creative, have fun and maybe, just maybe, your pup will be sharing HIS bed with you. Leave your comments in the comment section and on Friday, July 3rd two winners will be chosen.  When you enter please let me know if you’re entering for the round or rectangle bed. Remember, the round is for smaller dogs.

If you’re interested in ordering a petLINENS bed they are offering a 10% discount for Dogsters on all orders now through July 12, just enter PRDGSTR01 at checkout.

  1. Tir Na N'Ogh

    Just a short note-
Tir Na N’Ogh has crossed the Rainbow Bridge today-
he sent his love to all…
he leaves his best girl…PD, his best pal, Target, many friends and pets!
    God Bless…
    Patti

  2. Lou

I really, really need a new bed. I mean I share one with mom and my sister and it gets a little too crowded sometimes. And it’ll cheer up mom a lot since she’s sad she can’t buy me things and it seems we don’t even have enough money to pay mortagage these days.
It I win I’d like to invite Underdog cuz he’s my hero. Maybe he will teach me how to fly and catch bad humans who hurt and abuse animals. I might even invite my sister too. BOL! Rectangle would be great.

  3. Hunter

We are entering for a rectangle bed.

Hunter says that he would choose to share his pillow talk time with the great Scooby Doo! He’d like to know what exactly was in those Scooby Snacks! He’d also like to bark at Snoopy and find out how that hound managed to stay friends with Woodstock all those years without eating him.

  4. Missy

How do I enter the pillow talk contest?

I feel you Lou! I share a bed with mom, my sis, and my cat brother. If I win I would invite the woman who thought I was worth something, pulled me from the euth list, and put me in a foster home(now my forever home). I would like to ask her why me? What did she see in me? The ACC is flooded with more animal that it can hold so why me? I’m sure she’d probably won’t fit in my bed but i’ll make room :)

  5. Spike

I need a new bed because mom adopted two little doggies in October and they have now taken over the beds me & Sheba shared.

  6. Julia

We don’t care what shape the bed is.

My name is ZhuZhu. I am a year old pekingese. I love to snuggle with everyone including my big older brother Kanji and Ron Weasley the cat. I think I would probably share my bed the most with my girls Jeanne and Linden. We love to lay on a pillow together and watch the Simsons in the evening. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lindentreephotography/3580092669/

  7. Kit-Kat

The round bed would be great. For an old girl, it gets harder everyday to jump onto mom’s bed for a good night of chasing cats in my dreams. I’d love to share pillow talk time with Spike, AKA as Butch and Killer(from Tom and Jerry). I’d have so many questions to ask him. I mean just how many ways are there to try and catch that crazy cat? And how’d you not go completely insane?

  8. Cooper

OMD!!! I would love to share my pillow with the Greater Dane from the movie Good Boy!! OMD who wouldn’t right? She is beautiful and regal and the ruler of all dogs!!!!!

  9. Cindy Sue (aka RattieRanchDog)

Oh my goodness…I’ve got to pick a new Twitter friend named Marti *sigh…and a look of longing in her eyes*. He’s just sooooo dreamy!!

His mommy put his picture up ‘n he’s so cute that my flop ear stood right up!!! I’d luv to pillow talk wiff that handsome Rattie!!

Hmmmm…I’m a lil’ rat terrier ‘n the small bed would do me fine…but, my big sister Abby really needs a bed more than I do, so I’d like her to have the large bed…she’s my sis!

  10. Primrose

I would share my bed with all my little local buddies that come over for play dates. We love to jump in and out of beds and then show we are ready to be done by curling up together in the beds. Anyone can jump in my bed because I think sleeping alone is absolute torture. I would like a pretty and comfy bed so everypup will want to join me in getting some friendly Zzzzzz’s. xoxo

  11. bessie best

I have been entering contests for a long time now, none of it I have won. But that doesn’t stop me from entering more! bol

I would likes a rectangle bed

I would likes to share my pillow with my pals! I just hopes we can all fit into one pillow. bol bol bol. Of course, my besties are with me in there if only mom could let me in the house, maybe because I’m always messy and muddy. But if I had a bed the bed would be nice and clean ’cause I’m ultra careful with my own things, not their things :) bol

  12. Syl

    Oh dear Gussy!!!
Could we use one of your beautiful, luxury doggy beds!!! We are a family of four rescue Dalmatians and they all sleep with Mom and Dad!! Katie (Bug) snores and likes to sprawl out in the middle of the bed; Annie (Banannie) likes to sleep under the cover at the foot of the bed; Mason (Bean) has to sleep on Mom’s left and little Henry takes whatever is left. We also have a Classic Tabby, Abigail, who meows til she gets settled next to Katie Bug, whom she gives licks and a massage til they go to Dreamland. Talking about a dog pile!!! The other two cats, Atticus and Elsie are on their own!! So I’m pretty sure Katie, the senior citizen, would be the lucky pup with the super cool new bed and would, no doubt, spend countless hours chatting with her best buddy, Abigail the Classic Tabby!! Please! We need room!!!!!! :)

  13. Birdy

    Hmmmmm I like rectangles!!!!

Now of course I would like to share my bed with Charles Goodyear, who invented the first rubber tennis ball. Oh yeah I’d cuddle right up with him and lick his cheeks in thanks for creating these little balls of joy!

Umm and of course my Mommy for rescuing me from the shelter. It was scary there and we slept on dirt floors. So a nice bed would be so wonderful.

  14. Katie

I would like the rectangular bed, because it is nice and orderly, and dog knows this house could use some order! I do my best to bring order in my roles as Nannie Pennie and Nurse Pennie, but dog knows it is an uphill battle against chaos.
    Pillow Talk?
    Does snoring count?
Rumor has it I snore enough to shake the house, but it is a sturdy brick house, (the first dog was a wolf hybrid, so of course Mom bought a brick house,) so I am not worried that the house will fall down.
I would share my snoring and Pillow Talk with any of the humans that would care to join me, and if they aren’t home, then I would grab a stuffed animal from Little Lad, although he does get upset at my habit of biting off those wee stuffed noses.

  15. Brenda

I’m Honey the Pomeranian, and hmmmm, let’s see, I would LOVE to share some snuggles and pillow talk on the x-large, rectangle, petLINENS bed with “Chester”, Fran Drescher’s Pomeranian. Why, you ask? Well, duh, because Fran & Chester are famous stars; I loved their madcap show, “The Nanny”. I could find out what really happens at those Hollywood parties, and I’d get to listen to Fran Drescher’s nasal laugh ALL the time, and maybe get to sample some of those fish eggs I’ve heard so much about! Otherwise, my choice would be “Astro” from “The Jetson’s” cartoon series, because I would like to see what its like to walk on that space treadmill he uses, woof, woof!

  16. Jazman

Hi there, my name is Jazman, Jaz for short and I would share my large rectangular bed with my new BFF Tucker, my foster mom says he is my new brother for now and that we will always be friends, no matter where I end up. I’ve been kind of shy and scared in my new home and Tucker has been a real comfort to me, I love him lots cause he never gets mad at me and treats me real nice even though I don’t look so good. This bed would be great for me, you see I have demodex mange and I’m missing a lot of hair and my skin is real itchy, I would love a big comfortable bed to lie on and it would be a real comfort to me. Oh how would it be to take such a beautiful bed to my new home when I get adopted in a few months. My foster mom said she would find me a home with another dog so that I would not be lonely without Tucker there with me and when that happens I would share my bed with my new brother or sister. Did you go see my page on Dogster, mom says I’m beautiful and would look great lying on a new bed. Go check me out, I’m so excited to have a whole Dogster page all about me.

    xoxo
    Jazman

  17. Savannah

Hi. I am a big girl, near to 100 lbs. I have a brother and a little sister. Little sister has her own bed, which is about big enough to be a pillow for me. Brother prefers to stretch out on the floor. I would like a comfy bed, but need a real big one. If I won a real big bed I would be an even happier dog than I already am.

Thanks, I hope I win, but good luck to all the rest of you pups, too!
Savannah. Large and likes to be comfy.

  18. Corrin

Our three year old mini dachshund, Ollie, would definitely share a little pillow talk with his Bobo. Not only do they look alike, but it’s a love-fest whenever the two of them get together. It would also be nice to get both those bed hogs out of MY bed. :-)

  19. Tiberius

I am entering for the rectangle bed.

I enjoy sleeping with my pack in our king size bed but it gets crowded with our Momma and Dad and my dobe brother and little sister. So alot of times I sleep on the floor on a cheap bed. The couch is available to me but that’s in the other room and I like to keep an eye on things.

If I could invite someone over to have a talk with- it would definately be the doberman actor from the Beverly Hills Chihuahua movie. (El Diablo) I mean he did such a great job! And he is almost as handsome as me. I would ask him – why did he allow himself to be cast in such a role? Why is the doberman always the bad guy? Did he just need the money for bones? I mean – just as easily the German Shehard could have been the bad guy and the Doberman the helpful police dog. I wonder what he would say to me….. hmmmm….

  20. Dylan

I am entering for the rectangle bed.

I wish there was someone that just facinates me enough that I would just like to share my bed with and have long discussions with -BUT truth be told – If I could I would invite over my pal MAYA for pillow talk. She was my Valentine this year – and I watch her on her puppy daycare doggie cam and I just love her. I wish she didn’t live so far away and We could just lay together on my bed and share some snuggle or wrasslin time.. That would be so much fun!!

  21. Jia

    I like rectangle beds.

If I could invite over anyone to share some pillow talk with- it would for sure be that dog in the beggin strips commercial – the one with the big nose – yeah… Cuz he for sure would have treats right? He would bring treats from the commercial right? Bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon… Give me BACON~!

  22. Louie

I am entering for the round bed.

If I could invite anyone over to share some pillow talk with- it would be cesar milan. I mean the dude knows his stuff. Not that I have any issues or anything….. But everypup can use some helpful advice right??? And Maybe I’d get on TV!!!

  23. Angie (Rem, Ping & Bella's mom)

We are entering for the rectangle bed.

We would like to share some pillow talk with some of the Rainbow Bridge guys. We think Elvis would be a blast to talk to and we think Cookie would have some great stories and, well, Pongo is just Pongo. We don’t think we could catch Seva, but watching her run would be amazing. That’s who we would like to share pillow talk with. Even if only in our dreams.

  24. Destry

i would share my new bed with my buddy Murphy- he is my cat- my mama said that since i play with him and take care of him- he is mine not hers-I work all day being with my mama- i am a Service Dog and need doggie time with my bud, Murphy- a new bed would be good to have to discuss the days events with him.
    Destry

  25. Destry

i am entering for the rectangle bed as i am pretty big and like to stretch out.
    destry

  26. CAROLE&Thefurkids

I have so many furkids they wouldnt care what bed they won, just bring on a bed. For pillow talk mom says it has to be Doris Day. She loves furkids and she was wonderful in the movie.

  27. Serena

Hi everyone! I’d really like to share my bed with my little brother. He isn’t even born yet but I am worried that he won’t have his own bed and Mom says that he won’t have fur like me to keep him warm. Dad put together his crate and told me that was his bed, but that’s not a real bed. It has bars on it and Mom said it will have a mattress and a mobile but the top is open so he can jump out and hurt himself. I want to make sure he has something safe and snuggly to sleep on, and I will be there to protect him, too. I’ll even give him some of my kibble so he isn’t hungry. Please help us get a new warm, puffy rectangle bed!

  28. Patriot

Oh pick me pick me! I’d like the rectangle bed. I’d love to chat with Bolt, he is in my favorite movie! Ironically called Bolt! I just stare and stare at the moving pictures, I feel almost human but I want to stay a dog like Bolt! I don’t much like the cats, but Bolt is AWESOME! Mom says that he is ‘animated’, whatever that means. I think its Mom code for ‘I think he is awesome too but I can’t say it out loud’
I would share my bed with him, even possibly while watching the movie! Oh and I guess my furbrother and sister Shadow and Laura could share it with me too. (Mom wouldn’t let me enter unless I said that)
I don’t have super powers, but I am a service dog in training and Mom says that is pretty darn close to having super powers.

  29. Bruiser

I would like the bed because being little and cold natured I would really enjoy snuggling in a nice, warm, fuzzy bed. Plus, the zebra print matches the wild side in me. I would share my bed with is my stuffed slipper that has tiger print on it. I think of it as a friend, someone I can tell my secrets to besides my mommy. It comforts me through thick and thin. Through all the thunder storms, vaccoum cleanings, and lawn mowers. It helps me sleep, espically when I had my surgery on my knee cap.
As you can see, I would love to have the zebra bed. Good Luck to all you pups!
    ~Bruiser

  30. Maxx

My human got a big dog pillow at Sam’s but that new schnauzer girl has taken it over so now I need my own! I am too much of a gentledog to give her the sharp nip she deserves. My human Missy bought that pillow for ME because I’m almost 13 and it’s hard for me to jump up on the bed (the couch is ok) and I won’t do the pet stairs. (She does lift me up on the bed at night.) I would share if it’s big enough but it would be nice to have the new bed to myself. Love,Maxx

  31. Joey

I gave up my old bed to my fur-sister Molly. Last week Molly crossed the Rainbow Bridge and earned her Angel Wings. I am so sad. I look everywhere for her and whine by ‘our’ bed at bedtime, but I won’t sleep in it. My mommy thinks I need a new bed that is all mine. If I had a new bed I would share it with all my memories of Molly. Oh, and my ball and stuffy. I always sleep with a ball and stuffy.

  32. Patricia

Boy, do I need a new dog bed! Right now, I have to sleep with my sister, Sisi, and our brother, Frodo. I mean, I love them & all, but REALLY!!! If I had my own bed, I could invite someone romantic and exciting to share it with me…Someone like Cesar Milan’s “Daddy”! Now, there’s a real DOG! He is so macho & cool, and yet gentle & sensitive at the same time! It doesn’t get any better than that!

  33. Steph T.

Mackenzie Bulldogge truly wishs for a new doggie bed. The rectangle one would be excellent since that is what she already has. Has left is more like it. Crazy Cody Boxer ate up most of Mackenzie’s current bed, even the zipper.

Mackenzie shares pillow talk of course with Mommy. Mommy picked her out, loved her from the first second, & made her feel super special. Mackenzie still has some issues with Mommy for bringing baby Aubrey into the world. Mackenzie was the original “Baby Girl.” Now she has to share the spotlight with a toddler. Mackenzie cares for Aubrey but still has some things to get off her chest with Mommy.

  34. Mary H Villani

*Zoe* would love to Pillow Talk with Smoky the famous WWII hero! She had backpacked with her master for two years of the war and even flew combat missions in the Pacific. Imagine all the stories she could tell. Smoky was credited with twelve combat missions and awarded eight battle stars. She survived 150 air raids on New Guinea and made it through a typhoon at Okinawa. Smoky even jumped from a 30-foot tower with a specially made parachute. Wynne credited Smoky with saving his life by warning him of incoming shells on an LST (transport ship), calling her an “angel from a foxhole.” We definitely would be up all night talking about Smoky’s life.

  35. Lou Kemler

My name is Murphy and I would share my bed with my dreams. It’s not that I mind other animals sharing my bed. Not at all. It’s just that I like to dream. In my dreams I’m running through the tall grass with the wind blowing my hair. In my dreams there are thousands of dog toys everywhere. I often move my legs when I dream and I wouldn’t want to hurt anyone in real life, but in my dreams I play with everyone.

  36. rubymoon

I’m Norton and I’m a little beagle boy smaller than a pocket beagle even. I am pretty hyper and I love to howl. I would love to win the small round bed. It would be perfect for me and there is a toy poodle who lives across the street named Mazie and I’d invite her to share my sweet little bed because I already share my toys with her. I am very much a gentleman.I love nap companions!

  37. Bruiser

I am a big bulldog so if I were to win I would want the rectangular bed. I would donate my clean old bed to a shelter because my older sister came from one.
If I could have pillow talk and share my bed with anyone I would share it with the Creator so I could ask if he meant to call us all dogs, for after all, that is god spelled backwards and who doesn’t need god when we act a little backward.
    Thaks for considering me!

  38. Wally

I would like a new bed because I am the newest addition to the family. Everytime I get comfortable in one of the other’s beds they come over and crowd me out despite the fact that right now I only weigh 4 pounds. I know that you are suppossed to share but it would be great to have a bed to call my own.

  39. battatter

Rebel would invite his “cousin” Gizmo. He has loved playing with him since the first day they met, and he gets so excited when you mention Gizmo’s name, that he starts to MOAN!… He would love a new bed, as he has recently decided he doesn’t want to sleep with mom ‘cos it is too hot!

  40. Ellie

My favorite pillow-talk companion is the emergency vehicle siren! I would love to have my own bed (Willy ate my old one when he was a puppy) that I could snuggle into as I sing my part in the duet at 3 AM.

  41. Lorraine Goodman

My current bed (getting old…) is under my mommy’s desk, where I can cuddle up and lick her toes while she answers emails.

  42. Josh

If I won I would choose Winn Dixie. No not the grocery store! The adorable pup from the cute chilren’s book and pawsome movie (because of winn dixie). Why you might ask? Well just like Winn Dixie, I love to grin and smile. And a few weeks ago when mom was watching the movie I decided to watch it with her! And a few times when Winn Dixie barked, I barked back! We would have a lot to talk about, because we are both just super happy & content pups.

  43. George 602634

Ahhh I need a new bed bad cuz my brother Looie tore my other one all up! If I had a bed like that I would cuddle in it next to my Mom’s feet.. My first bed was my security blanket when Mom brought me home.

I am a rescue who was in the pound, then taken by some sweet ladies who cleaned me up and put me up for adoption. I had so many changes in my short three years by then that when Mom brought me home I was frightened to death. The bed was my security blankie and made me feel safe.

Now if I had one I would just cuddle next to my Mom. I have been with her now 2 and a half years and my confidence is pawfect.

    Hugs George

  44. Lisa

We could go any size bed.Big bro sleeps with the kids but sometimes ends up on the hardwood floors. My two bigger sisters sleep on the bed with mom and dad.I am smaller and sleep on the bed also, some day’s mom and dad have no room.I would love to pillow talk with my mom,she is the best and I follow her anywhere.Even a small bed for me is just fine I am a minature dachshund. Maybe mom could put it in her lap then I could have the best of both worlds, a comfortable bed and a lap to put it on. Thank you, Sarayu

  45. Lisa

I think the bed should go to Joey, since sister Molley is gone, it makes me sad, mommy just cried because it reminded her of two of my brothers I never got to meet. Sarayu.

  46. Hershey

That is a good question. I would probably share my pillow talk time with Maus, the cat I live with. I always want to play with him but he doesn’t seem to like me. Maybe if I let him share a comfy bed, then he’d be my friend!

  47. J. Parris

I would share my bed with my mom! Really who do I love more? Well, Pepper the dog, he would be my second choice because he is so hansom, and he works really hard to help all the animals! I would love to spend some quiet time with him, discussing the important issues in life!
My little humans keep stealing my bed now. They always lay on it, or put their dolls/toys to bed there. I have to sleep on the floor then! I love them so I let them get away with it, but it sure would be nice to have one for just me! I’m 55lbs at one year old, so I probably need the big bed! Oooh, I hope I win! Thank you! Woof!
    Signed Tallulah
    The American Bulldog!

  48. Kodi

My dog Kodi would love a rectangular bed. As to who he would share it with? Kodi loves to have his own space especially when sleeping, but his little cat brother Jasper loves to try and snuggle up with Kodi. Kodi will be sleeping on his bed and Jasper will come over and try to lay as close to Kodi as possible. They are an adorable pair, Jasper is the annoying little brother that Kodi loves despite it all. Kodi would love an awesome bed like that to share with his kitty pal.

  49. Sophie Bean

I would love to get a new bed! Of course I would share it with my old sister because her bones and muscles are achy and she needs cushy for her tushy…but if I could pick any dog in the whole world to share pillow talk with it would have to be Benji! Benji was rescued from death row and turned into a major movie superstar and the best part, “He” is a “She”. I bet she has a ton of stories to howl about.

*Note to Bo…Are you crazy? Cujo? Cujo would eat you…and your new bed!!!! BOL

  50. Sadie Boo

Since I am a baby lover, I know exactly who I would want to share my bed with. The Buddies= Rosebud, Bud-dha, Budderball. Mudbud and B-Dawg! You know those cute adorable huggable Golden Retrievers from the Air Bud movies. Ever since I can remember I have loved to be the mothering dog to all the rescued animals Mommy has brought home. Those puppies have traveled the world and even went for a ride on a spaceship to the moon. I can only imagine how much those pups have to bark about. We could all cuddle up on the new bed and spend a whole night howling about all the fun they have had and then we could make a furry snuggle pile and snooze away on the new bed.

  51. Mr. Brown

Mr. Brown is entering for a round bed.

Mr. Brown is our 1 year old Brussels Griffon. If he could lay in a petLinens bed and share his pillowtalk with anyone it would be Trina the creator of petLinens! His bed is his favorite place to go for comfort, and sometimes that means when he’s going to be sick or have an accident. And with a petLinens bed, he knows that dogs no longer need to wait to have there bed replaced, or washed and dried if something happens to it! He thinks Trina’s idea is wonderful that it has interchangeable covers, and a cushion cover, and he would spend his time cuddling up and telling Trina how thankful he is that he always has a clean bed to be on!

  52. Heather S

My Bernese Mountain Dog Duke would want to spend his pillow talk time with his doggy friend Missy because she’s his favorite canine lady friend + he’s quite the ladies man!

  53. Maxie

    Round bed please!

I would share my pillow talk time with my best friend, my bag of bacon treats! He doesn’t talk much, but sometimes he rustles a bit. Of course, I’d spend my time begging him to open up and maybe sneak into my mouth. I’d sleep with him everyday and even dream of him ending up in my mouth.

  54. tricia

My dogs, Tommy and Pip, would be so happy to have one of the round beds. They would like to share it with NO ONE! They aren’t wowed by celebrities, they think they are celebrities. But they would share the bed with each other, grudgingly.

  55. Murphy

Well if I won I would invite Petey from Little Rascals!Because mom & me loved the old series and even the movie! And Petey is one great pup and is a true ambassador for the bullie breed, and he just goes to show that BSL is BS!

We would have alot to woof about because he always seems to be getting into trouble and finding new adventures with all his little buddies.

  56. maxi

If I got a new bed I would share it with my favorite best friend who I carry every where, my HEDGEHOG ! I would make sure my furry sister didnt have a chance bc it was my bed she takes everything else and I am older

  57. Choppy

I’m Choppy, I could be SOOO comfy sharing my brand new PetLINENS bed with my dream man…. PABST!! The new winner of the Ugliest Dog Contest. I’m so in love, I’ve got a picture of him on my Dogster page (he’s the picture on the bottom… it’s hard to tell, we’re both homely dogs ;)
A girl can dream, can’t she?!?! Mmmm… Pabst!

Mine is a true rescue story fraught with danger and drama. I desperately need a new bed. I’m in pain from a damaged ACL and will be having surgery within the next couple of weeks. Recovery would be so much better lounging on my new bed, dreaming of that gorgeous PABST!!

  58. Michelle

Dyson (http://www.dogster.com/dogs/614531) would absolutely LOVE a new rectangle Pillow Talk bed. He is a big guy, and a hard worker, so he needs a nice place to rest his heavy head. The little dogs in the house get to sleep on the bed, and the collie has her own chair, but D, D just has pillows on the floor, alas, he is simply to big to fit on the bed with us. He’s fine with that, sort of, and only heaves a few long suffering sighs as he beds down for the night. He’ll stay there until Dad goes to work, and then up he comes to nap with Mom.

I think Dyson would love to share some pillow talk time with me, because in the hustle and bustle of a busy household with a new baby, he just doesn’t get all the one on one time with Mom that he would like to have.

If not me, I’m sure he’d love to share some pillow talk time with a nice bag of Cinnamon Twists, his favorite forbidden snack. :)

  59. Brooke

Sam would LOVE to share his bed with me… we share EVERYTHING!!! From late night talks to long walks and tasty snacks, he is my best pal. We are always there for each other and he deserves the very best. In addition to this contest, I have entered him to win a lifetime suppl;y of healthy food to keep him on track… check out my dedication to him when you get the chance! http://www.brickfish.com/Pages/PhotosAlbums/PhotoView.aspx?picid=926775_88055285&pid=332257&scid=416

  60. Otto

If I could share my bed with anything it would be two new knees. You see, I am getting older and blew both ACLs out three years ago. I had a TPLO on each knee which has given me three good years. Now my knees are getting creaky, and I can’t jump onto the big bed anymore. So having a swell rectangular petLINENS bed would make this old dog feel like a pup again.

  61. Princess Marley

I am a new pug momma I had a litter of puppies on Feb 7, 2009
Mom kept one of my sons he is pick of the litter. His name is Ripley Von Pugginstein he is almost 5 months old now.
I would definatly have to share my new bed with Ripley and we could have pillow talk so he could tell me about his day or ask me any questions he has about life since he is so new to the world. Then I would snore him a lullaby as he doses off to sleep cuddled up close beside me.
Thank you for this contest and I can’t wait to see who won these awsome new beds.
    Princess Marley

  62. Lucy

Hi! I am a 7 month old French Bulldog named Lucy. I would like the round or the rectangle bed. The round bed would be plenty big, but I like to sleep like a frog sometimes and wouldn’t mind the room to stretch out. Yesterday I took a nap on a laptop, so apparently I’m not picky about my beds!

Anyway, I know I’m SUPPOSED to say that I want to spend my time cuddled up with Ricky, but really I’d pick Ethel. I’m all about trouble and Ethel’s way more fun!

  63. ANA

I’d love one of those! So stylish!! How do I enter the contest? I didn’t find anywhere to sign in or anything… thanks!

  64. ANA

“I guess it’s here Mom!” (Mojito and Mambo.)

I’d share one of those stylish rectangular beds that look so comfy with my buddy Mambo. (thanks Mojito!) He’s my best play pal ever. We’re two Havanese and as much as we love Mom, she works at the office so all day long we play tug of war, “run like hell”, and take naps together. Oh, Mambo is my baby Brother (although he’ll be a year old tomorrow!) but I’m a fantastic big brother (at a whole 2 years old!). He’s great because even though he’s younger, he keeps me calm during thunder and firecrackers which are often, he’s a very cool Hav. So I’d share my bed with him.

  65. ericka doolittle

WHATwould my boy Axel most like to cuddle up with on his new rectangular bed? Um… a t bone steak, a jar of peanut butter, wet paper of any kind, the slimiest toy from the dog park, that thing he just pulled out of the trash can…

    oh. wait.

    WHO.

Who would he most like to cuddle up to? Cesar Milan. To learn more about social doggy graces. I mean, who better than to whisper sweet pillow talk than the dog whisperer himself.

On second that, scratch that. He just told me that he’d rather hang out with Victoria Stillwell. Behavior pointers AND a sexy British accent. Ruff! Ruff!

  66. Mrs. Bridget G.

Harley would like to share the bed with his new pet sister Princess. He’d like to know what her life was like before she was found in the animal shelter. He’d like to know her life experiences and what she has learned.

  67. Willey Tucker

I might share it with Bear!! have to think about that !! but I do need a new bed : )

    Willey Tucker

  68. Kobe

    Hi,
My name is Kobe and I am 6 months old. I would love to pillow talk with my human who found me, Pat. I was found May 29th when Pat went fishing and heard me barking. He found me tied to a tree where some one had left me, never to come back. I was wrapped around the tree so tight I couldn’t move and the vet said I had been there for some time. Pat saved me and now I sleep with him on a blanket in his room.

I would lay on my new bed and I know Pat will snuggle with me and I would lick his face, put my paw on his arm and just let him know how furever grateful I am that he found me when he did. Winning your bed would make the most awesome ending to a hard start in life.

    Thank you so much,
    Kobe

  69. Morgan

If I win a PetLinens bed, you know who I’d share it with? No doubt about it, my mom! I don’t like to share her with anyone else and I want to make sure I know where she is. Then again, I’d probably share it with the foster dogs that come through here, they can sleep in the Pet Linens bed and I’ll sneak into mom’s again. ;)

The other thing I’d like to have pillow talk with is a 10 foot long bully stick.. mmmm midnight snackeroos!

  70. Ariel

I would share my bed with George Bush so I can chew on his shoes and pee on his jacket.

  71. Joy Stanley and Tiger

I am mom’s SD, I am seven yrs old and need a petLinens bed to keep my bones healthy so I can work longer. Mom has shared her bed with me so if I win a new bed I would love to pillow talk and make plans with mom.

  72. Maxy

Hmmm, this is a hard one.
I would probably share my new bed with daddy! I hope both of us could fit on that x-large! I would share it with daddy because he is searching for a new bed. His bed makes him uncomfortable and it makes his back hurt. Since Daddy’s back hurts and he plays fetch with me everyday, he bought a Chuck It! so he wouldn’t have to bend over and hurt his back more to pick up my wet tennis balls. I don’t like my Chuck It. I spent a lot of time training daddy to pick up my wet tennis balls, and now the training didn’t pay off! :( I l also enjoy when Daddy throws the ball. not the Chuck It. Daddy would probably be relaxed if he slept on the new bed. It would good bye chuck it and I wouldn’t have to see Daddy in pain anymore ;) Daddy and I could Pillow Talk about where we are gonna go play fetch the next day; maybe the dogpark or the beach?

  73. Bambii

I would share my new bed with my brother,Max.
Since the day I was picked off the busy streets of Chicago, Max was really nice to me. He welcomed me home, let me sleep on his bed, and he let him eat from his food bowl. I always liked his bed more than mine. His bed is big and that’s why I like it. I’m just a little chihuahua, but I love to sleep stretched out. So, everynight I lay in the middle of Max’s bed and he can’t get on it. Max can’t sleep in my bed because it’s tiny, so he has no other choice but to sleep on the floor. So, if we got the x-large bed we could both sleep on it and cuddle. We could pillow talk about how we are going to steal food off the table or how we are going to get upstairs and sneak into sissy’s room where our treats are…
Two heads are better than one, and it’s easier to plan ahead ;) it would be really cool if we could get one of the beds! :D Good Luck to all the other dogsters!

  74. I-H-B-K

My boys I’m sure would invite their Mama. Yep that’s me! They love laying in bed with their Mama cuz she sleeps in usually. That way they get to spread out and catch some zzz’s without being disturbed. We’re all night owls.
P.S. We would all really love the rectangle bed for our Z -Catching. Thank you!

  75. Strider

I am entering for the rectangle bed, Horst.

Well, normally I’m a cranky kinda pup. Don’t much like the other pups getting up in my grill. I do make an exception for Nina, though. She made the decision long ago to hang out with me despite all my growly complaints. I was pretty impressed with her determination to become my buddy. We now have a special kind of relationship.

I would share my new bed with her because she likes to keep me looking my best by licking my face, eyes, and ears. She deserves a nice, soft bed to rest on after she’s done cleaning me up!

Thank you Horst, petLINENS, and dogster.

  76. Miley

I am entering for the round bed. I would probably share my pillow talk with all my “sisters”. I have 2 doggy sisters, 4 bunny sisters and a gerbil sister. Sometimes I get too excited to play/use as a chew toy my bunny sisters and my mommy has to step in. I like watching my gerbil sister run in her ball and I love playing with my doggy sisters and would even let them use my bed if I win :)

  77. Cody

I would share my bed with my Mom, because she shares her big bed with me whenever I want. So it only seems fair. Plus I’m a big Mamma’s boy, but don’t tell anyone! :)

  78. Madison

I would share the bed with, let me see, Lassie, because I’m a smooth collie mix and she is my hero.

  79. Toby

I would share my bed with Ms. Madison, because we are good old buddies. Thx

  80. Lisa & Farley

Hi my im not very good at this typing thng but i need a good bed my mom looked long and hard for my on some thing called petfinder .com and couldnt find a a dog that spoke to her ( whatever that means ) then she saw me and it was love at first sight. she used all her savings to get me . im a powderpuff chinese crested She would love to buy me a bed but shes on a limeted income and cant afford a bed for herself ( She got an old daybed given to her so shes ok) but she would love a new bed for me .
i was taught ber for she got me to stay off the bed my mom says she dosnt mind iif I get on the bed but old habbits die hard.

  81. carol savala

maverick- – -hey can i enter this drawing for the rectangular bed. i am getting a forever home soon as my foster mom and dad can drive me to texas. i will stay out in the “sticks” with tom or in the city with my new mom. she is really anxious to meet me but is worried about my sleeping space. you see mom, busco and rolo, they all sleep on a twin bed., and i’m sort of big and so is rolo and mom and there will not be enough room for all of us, so if i could win a bed at least rolo and i might share it. thanks to horst and dog linens and sherrill who have all given me hope of a forever home..

  82. Princess Miley

I am entering for the rectangle bed. I am a friendly and lovable beagle. I would love to have some pillow talk with the people that I love. That includes my Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, my crazy aunts and my cousin Alex that I love alot. I hate to sleep alone. I love to cuddle so I need a bed of my own with space to have sleepovers!

    Thanks,
    Princess Miley

  83. Teri

Hi! My name is Sheba and I have a sister, Blondie, and two brothers, Ace and Banjo. We are all 16 yrs. old so we do lots of napping these days. It’s usually first come first serve for the best places to lay, but if I win a rectangular bed, two of us can lay on it and we promise we will all take turns and share.

  84. Freda

Hello my name is Marty. Mom showed me this bed and I got all excited. She tells me it would be all mine if we win. I sleep with Mom and my sister Lilly and brother Pugsley. That does not leave much room in the bed. I love my mom for saving my life I am only 2 years old and was rescued. Thought all humans was bad. Mom has taught me different. I am able to walk on a real ground and get plenty of hugs and kisses real love. I am one lucky guy to have found such a wonderful home and a second chance at life. Moms bed is comfortable but not enough room everyone wants to be close to her.
Ok who would I share my bed with? Let me think for a minute!!!! It would be my sister Lilly she is another lucky lady that was saved by Grandmother who stays with Mom, due to her being in a nursing home. So Lilly and I could snuggle right by Moms bed. Who knows Mom might get lonely and move down with us. Woof Woof and hope I win to experience another first my very own bed!!!
    Thanks
    Marty

  85. Boudreaux

    I’d love a rectangular bed…

I’d share my bed with my mom, she’s my one true love. I never want to leave her – as evidenced by my illness last August – when I heard her voice I began fighting to get better. Every time I heard her, I would get a little better.

Also, Dad recently kicked me out of the bed and I know that my mom sleeps so much better when I’m on top of her, so if I win the bed, I vow to share it with my beloved mommy so she can sleep good and wake up refreshed with the love of her life…ME!

  86. mom's maxiumum evil ( max )

i would share my bed with dottie boo , hitch , stinky , and wookie..they may not be famous but too me they are worth all the money and dog treats in the world….i love them…max

  87. Pudge, Peyton, and Maggie

While sleeping on a luxurious PetLinens bed, Pudge, Peyton, and Maggie the pugs would like to share their pillow talk time with Chubby (their pug brother who passed away this weekend), because they miss him.

    Thank you,
    Pudge, Peyton, and Maggie
    (rectangle bed)

p.s. I accidently posted entry on the contest extension thread and corrected mistake by posting here. Please disregard other entry. Thanks

  88. mom's maxiumum evil ( max )

i would share my dogbed with dottie boo, stinky, wookie, and hitch. they may not be famous but they are worth the world to me..max

  89. Woody

If I won the extra large rectangle bed (I need that size since since I’m a 105 pound 1 year old Bernese Mtn Dog) I would share my pillow talk time with Tucker and Bear, my BFFs. We used wrestle, run and play, and chase bunnies every day, but Tucker and Bear moved across town this weekend.

  90. Medusasmomma

Medusa would like to do pillow talk with Chance from Homeward bound. Medusa would ask him how he was able to get along with sassy in the movie with out wanting to bite her for being so sarcastic. LOL Medusa also would like to pillow talk with Daddy. She wants to know what it is like living with Cesar Millan and traveling the world with him and Junior. Mosconi would like to pillow talk with Tillman the skateboarding bulldog. Mosconi would like to pillow talk with snoopy and ask him how he learned to fly his doghouse. Mosconi also would like to pillow talk with Tillman the skateboarding, snowboarding, boogieboarding bulldog. Because she thinks he is talented and would like to know how he learned to do all of his special tricks and to see if he has a bulldog girlfriend. LOL

  91. Sherri Minunno

Georgie Girl, camp counselor, would love to have some cuddle time & pillow talk with Oprah Winfrey. Oprah has a soft spot in my big heart. She & I both counsel so many people through our daily routines as well as both struggling to have what others think is a good figure. I would tell her she is beautiful & does great things for the world, and she would tell me I’m beautiful & do great things for Camp Chaos. I would thank her for being her & being strong & giving a small donation to Camp Chaos 37206 (because I’d ask for one!).
    All good things,
    Georgie Girl Minunno

  92. Samson

I think Samson is very deserving of the rectangle bed. There isn’t any room for him on my new smaller bed, so when Roxy (my smaller dog) and the kittens cuddle up with me, Samson is stuck on the floor. I cannot afford to buy him a nice bed, and I want to give him his own comfortable spot. Maybe he’ll even make the other pets jealous!

  93. Abby (and Jonah!)

I’m Abby, a beagle that just got adopted over the weekend. Mommy bought me a bed that’s just the right size for me. Unfortunately, Jonah, the pomeranian I live with, has decided that he’ll just follow me everywhere! Especially when it comes to nap time. Now we both try and squeeze into one bed that is WAY too small for us to share!

We’re entering for the rectangular bed! so we can both continue napping together!

  94. Melissa

My 2 corgis have been using the same bed for — wait for it—- 5 years. Can’t seem to part with it but we definitely could find it in our hearts to get rid of it for a new rectangular petLinens bed. So please consider us!

  95. Scooby

Either round or rectangular is fine with Scooby.

Occasionally when he gets ready for bed, Numiko, his Siamese little sister is already in it so then he has to find another spot. He really doesn’t mind sharing with her, but he wishes she would sleep on the big bed like she use to so he could have his bed back. He would like to do some pillow talk with AFV’s host Tom Bergeron because he shows so many doggie videos on AFV some of who have gone to win big money and he wants to know the secret on how they won or if he can’t talk to Mr. Bergeron, then he would happy to share and talk with his mommy.

  96. Adrienne Saia

    I need a rectangle!!

I would like to invite Koni over!! She is Vladimir Putin’s lab and mom has a weird thing for the former Russian president. Mom also was the only Russian Studies major at her college when she graduated (don’t worry, she had another useless major – history – too). That also means she’s back in school getting a practical MA and has no money to buy me a new bed!!

It would be “och’ harasho!” (very good) if I won me a new bed!!

    Juno the pit bull

  97. Pippin

I am entering for the round bed..

If I could get one to sit still, I would share my pillow talk with one of those fuzzy furry hoppy bunny rabbits that I see around town. I love bunnies, but they never let me close enough to really talk to them. I try and talk to them through the car window, but they sit so still that I am wondering if they are ignoring me and hoping I will go away, or actually listening to what I am saying. I would want to know all about the wild life world that they live in and ask them how they blend in so well with the grass around them. And how on earth do they sit still so long, and why?? Pillow talk is definitely the time to find out all of those things you always wanted to know!

  98. Omahyra

If I had a petLINENS bed, I’d like to share it with my brother & sisters, Daddy from ‘The Dog Whisperer’ and George MacDonald.

I can’t sleep very well without my sisters, Gracie and Pixie, and my brother, Jon Jon. We are always piled on top of each other on this really ugly chair my grandpa had even before my mommy was born. I never got meet my grandpa, but he bought it in the early 70s and my mommy and grandma don’t want to get rid of it because it belonged to him. And they don’t mind if we sleep on it because grandpa loved dogs, but they don’t want it in our front room. Mommy says it’s really special, but really ugly.

I like Daddy because he makes people happy. I’m a rescue, but my first mommy kinda looked like Daddy only smaller. I’m really small, but people say things about what I’ll look like when I grow up, they ask if mommy’s going to cut my ears off and they say how dangerous I’ll be, but I’m already grown up. Everybody loves Daddy and I want to ask him how he makes people not be afraid.

When mommy brought me home I was really sick. The doctor used lots of big words to tell mommy what was wrong. I just remember that I was really hungry and my neck hurt a lot. After mommy fed me and cleaned my neck where all my hair fell out, she wrapped me in a soft blanket and she’d read to me. One of the nurses told her the sound of her voice would make me feel safe and sleepy. So she read the a book called ‘The Light Princess’ to me. It was written a long time ago by a man named George MacDonald. Mommy says he was a great man and that someone named C.S. Lewis called him his master. I don’t know what that means, but I really like his books about princesses.

I’m not sure what size we’d want. We’re all small, but we like to sleep together. We’d all fit on an x-large bed, but we could take turns on a smaller one too. We’re not very picky.

  99. DIESEL

Can I please win a bed? I always enter these contests and never win anything! I really need one to lounge on during the day I sleep with my parents at night but during the day I usually lay on the cold, hard tiles or my raggedy, holey bed that my mom sewed about 40 times because I tear it up and now she just gives up so there’s holes everywhere it was’t even mine to begin with it was the dog that was here before me! I need my own PLEASE! I need the X large size. As for pillow talk I would’nt mind some with all my pretty lady Dogster friends that are on my page he he.

  100. Teddy - Mr Wiggle Butt

I sure would like one of those purty round beds. Mom gave me two but I am outgrowing them. I’m a BIG boy now.. I think so but Mom says you could put 8 of me in one of the big beds. I love Big Boy macho prints.

Well, I dream of meeting Beau Obama. I love all kinds of dogs. Beau is a “water” dog like me. I don’t exactly swim and I would probably need CPR if I tried the White House fountain. I want to taste his gourmet meals and share a poop and pee on that beautiful green lawn. Of course, Beau and I could pal around inside the house and explore all the pretty areas. I promise not steal any State secrets or to “soil” anything in there. Do Secret Service Agents give belly rubs? That would be cool!! I might even get a special “code” name when I’m there. Fursure, I would give the President, Mrs. Obama and the girls loads of kisses. If only my dream can come true!!

  101. Ashley Carter

In the words of my shih tzu, Meili “If I had one of these beautiful beds, I would share my talk time with mommy! I know, I know…. why your mother? Well, mommy has been VERY busy lately with her job and training 3 nights a week plus Saturday. One of my favorite things to do with mommy is when she lays on the floor, I get to lick her to the point she cries mercy, I get to give mommy a back massage while running back and forth and I get to squeeze myself in between her arms or wherever else I can fit! If mommy and I had pillow talk time, then I could curl up, give her kisses and just catch up and relax the day away! I am CERTAIN that if I had a comfy bed, mommy would spend more time with me on the floor! I outgrew my old bed and it just won’t fit me on it…. let alone mommy! Please let me get my pillow talk time wish! ::wags tail::”

  102. MollyMaggie&Me

Molly and Maggie share their bed – so rectangular would be better. :-D

A new bed would encourage Me to lay my head on it too :-P

  103. Annie Dog

OH I could sure use da rectangle bed I could.
Da little ones seem to take up all the good sleepin spaces ..dey even jump up on da big bed when Daddy is in it. But me I have to cuddle up on da floor …Oh I have a blankie but a nice wonderfur PetLinens bed…oooooOOOooooo dat would be a wonderful place for me to snuggle up it would!

Good luck to all but I hopes I WIN!!!!

    Sniffs Licks and Wiggles !
    Annie Dog

  104. Keeko

My pillow talk time would be shared with the little black and white kitty named Pepe Le Pue. You see, I’m a lickaholic and I truly believe that I could lick the smell right out of that old boy where he could be friends with everyone. I feel sorry for him cause everyone is always running the other way. We should all have furiends and he deserves a chance to have a furiend too. So, Pepe come on over and let’s see if we can figure this smelly problem out.

  105. Bailey

I would love to be able to share my petlinens bed and have pillow talk time with my cousin Bonnie. She always comes over and we have sleepovers and she shares my toys with me and my food and treats. I would share this with her too and then maybe she would not crowd Mom in the human bed. Bonnie tries to take up the whole bed when she sleeps over. She is a 60+ pound dog that thinks she is a Chihuahua!
