Sunbear Squad Tip Of The Week

Horst Hoefinger

I want to thank all the wonderful Dogsters who have ordered a Neighborhood Watch Kit from Sunbear Squad. Because of you we’re that much closer to having a world of good Samaritans for animals.

Week of Mar. 1:

Watch for dogs eating rocks, bark, moss, sticks, or dirt; these are signs that they may be very hungry. Call the authorities!

Or they could just be dogs that eat rocks or sticks!! Please, please, read these “Sunbear Squad” tips with a shred of common sense!! I know I would NOT appreciate it if someone “called the authorities” because they saw my dogs eating dirt. They are fed well, but like to snuffle for mushrooms in the ground.

And perhaps instead of “calling the authorities” for every little imagined abuse, you could speak to the animals owner? Ask if they need help before involving the law. Come on people, let’s treat each other, and our animals with some respect and not run to tattle every little thing.
