Don’t Have A Date For Valentine’s Day?

Are you looking for a pair of baby blues to stare longingly into? Still haven’t met the perfect one? Don’t spend another Valentine’s Day alone, I have a solution.
You can meet that special someone to share dinner and a movie , exercise with, or just spend the day lounging around. All you need to do is put yourself ‘In Our Hands‘ and we’ll help find your soulmate.
This Saturday at 108 Court Street (in front of the Regal Theater) in Brooklyn, NY you have the chance to never spend Valentine’s Day alone again. Come meet all your potential partners at this special adoption event being held between 12-6pm.
How about a friendly Russian Blue? Maybe a mushy Red-nose? Or even a bouncing baby brindle? We have them all, and we hope you’ll make one of our “fuzzy Valentines” your “one and only” this Valentines Day.
But don’t do it for the holiday– do it because animals offer us unconditional love on a scale rarely experienced. He or she will know you saved his or her life– and never forget it.
Thanks to our friends at the Mayor’s Alliance of NYC, Northshore Animal League and The Regal Theater, IOHR will be holding an adoption event to help place the many animals still held in foster or boarding. When you adopt a pet, you will open a space in rescue for another death-row animal to be saved.
Some of In Our Hands Rescue high priority dogs, meaning they need homes right away, won’t be able to attend the event. You can check out all their beautiful faces online and also email emily@inourhandsrescue.org if you would like to meet them.
If you’re looking for unconditional love on an everyday basis don’t miss out on this wonderful event. You don’t want your true love to pass you by.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all the wonderful Dogsters out there.

OUR DOGS, a poem by David Jeffrey from Canada
A love uncontested, without compromise,
is what we see when we look into our lovely pets
eyes.
The way they adore us, with love to no end,
is the reason we call them Man’s best friend.
With tails a wagging and affection to spare,
makes them so easy to cuddle despite all their hair.
We treat them like children and adorn them with toys
trust that they will play and protect,
our own girls and boys.
God gave us dogs so that we may know,
the unconditional love,
that only a pet can show.
Ang==My brother used to take my German Shephard for walks on the beach during summer becuase Cheyanne attracted all the girls. He call my guy a chick magnet. When he would leave the house, I would ask him where he was taking the chick magnet. LOL
