‘Love My Pooch’ Goodie Basket Contest

Want to show your pup some Valentine’s Day love? Win an adorable goodie basket stocked with treats from Pampered Paw Gifts, an online gift store for dogs and their humans.
We donate a portion of our profits to select animal welfare organizations and local welfare organizations and charities. Just a few of our local animal organizations that are close to our hearts can be found on our Community Corner page.
We think every doggie and kitty cat should get a gift, so we keep our prices pretty close to our cost. It is our idea that with excellent service and customers’ re-orders and telling others about us, that we will grow slowly but in the right way.
As we grow we put a lot back into the local and national rescue groups that need our help so much! They do so much with so little.
You have to love a company that gives back to the community. Pampered Paw Gifts makes some of the nicest gift baskets I have seen, perfect for your pup or a gift. Plus, you can design your own gift if you want.
If you would like to win the ‘Love My Pooch’ basket leave a comment in the comment section sharing what, if anything, you do to celebrate V-Day with your pooch. The contest starts today and runs through Wednesday, February 11th when one lucky pup will be chosen.

Everyday is Valentine’s Day in our house when it comes to our fabulous pooches! They’re loved and spoiled every day of their lives…which is exactly the way it should be for all pups
Our pups are going to spend VDay ‘helping’ us fill in the holes they’ve dug, assuming it doesn’t snow next weekend.
This Valentines Day me and my two wonderful whippets will be starting out at Petsmart where they will get to pick out one treat each. Then we will head to the dog park for a wonderful day with their friends. After that we will have a picnic with my boyfriend and I. Turkey burgers for the pups and all. This should be a wonderful day for my pups and I and the basket will just make it better!
My “nephew” is a “Queensland Heeler”, or more commonly known as an “Australian Cattle Dog”!! Jack is highly intelligent, and ALWAYS greets his “Aunt” with alot of love and kisses!!! He also runs in “Agiltiy Trials”, and has MANY “Blue Ribbons” for his excellence and speed!!! Am I the proud “Aunt”? You bet your life!!!!
We think every day should be valentines like valentines day ( full of love )… but i try to make valentines day special Max & Molly get a special cookie from the pet store & usually a small toy & of course lots of hugs & kisses & i get kisses from them too
Indiana Jones and Bayla say “Pick Us.. Woof”
I love my pooch dearly. She has made me a better human being. She has taught me to be patient, loving and thankful. She reminds me everyday how important it is to love and be loved in return. I don’t remember much about the days before she came into our lives, but now I can tell you about a lot of days filled you joy, laughter and love. Thanks to my *Zoe*, I love you always.
Each of mine get a Valentine heart bandana or collar scrunchie to wear for the day. I will probably bake them some homemade doggy biscuits and get them each a new squeeky toy. They know that they are loved every single day, because I tell them all of the time, give hugs and kisses every day, and feel their love in return. Mine are all either special needs or seniors (five total, plus a cat) rescues. I take the ones that tend to be more difficult to adopt out. I see behind the challenges and look at the true beauty within. They come first, and I wouldn’t take anything in the world for them!
Sanford is spoiled with LOVE everyday. For Valentines Day Weekend, We will go to the Dog park to play. Then its off to The Pet Botique to get bathed, pamperd and massaged. He Will look great in his new Valentines day Get up from the Botique. He will also get New toys, treats and a new bed.
This will be my first Valentine’s Day with my forever family, so I don’t know what it involves yet. But, I’m getting lots of tips from you pups on what hints to start dropping.
I think I will make my Dog, Digger, hamburger and rice for a dinner. It’s his favorite treat.
I usually get my pups treats for Valentines. They enjoy almost any kind of treat. I have gotten them toys as well.
We will spend Valentines day sleeping in. Then after breakfast we will take an extra walk.
We will nap and have treats and top it off with a play date with Daisy’s boyfriend Rocky.
February 14 is a Saturday, and that is Transport Day for our pack! We will send Dad out in the morning to run shelter animals back to town so they can continue up I-95 to find forever homes of their own.
After that sharing, he is ours! Hopefully the afternoon will be nice enough that we can spend time outdoors with all our Pets. Poor things haven’t been outdoors enough lately, and are getting fat!
After exercising our Pets, a Valentines cookout might be nice.
Feb 18th will be our 1 year anniversary for our adopted Shelby, a rat terrier mix we found at the Shelter. It would make a wonderful gift for her, as she’s fit right into my daughter’s life (and room!) LOL
For Valentines Day this year Mommy and Daddy are going to take me to the beach to run around and eat seaweed. Then I may get some special treat on my dinner, depending on how much seaweed I ate.
Just getting to adopt Miguel 2 years ago and Tara this year from rescues is my gift from my husband to me. I love everyday I get to spend with my beloved furbabies! I already had their Valentine Grooming done and bought Tara a pink kibble ball with hearts on it and my recorded voice to try and stretch out her eating time. She would eat all day if we let her, but she actually finishes her meals in less than 30 seconds. They both love bully sticks, so they will get new ones on Valentines Day and go to the dog park. Luckily I got everything on sale! They would love to try the new treats in your basket! If they don’t win, however, I’m sure they’ll just be happy spending the day with their family. That’s enough to make me happy!
We are all going to a PAWS FOR LOVE fundraiser at The Yorkville Animal Hospital to help support resuce dogs and spend our bones for a good cause!!
At our house all my dogs get dog treats with peanut butter on them and a new stuffed toy And raw hides

I was found as a stray near Eustis, Florida. I spent a month in doggy jail before I was found and taken in by Schnauzer Love Rescue! I had a great forster mom who really helped me. Than the Tuesday before Thanksgiving 2007 my new parents gave me a forever home! I am so happy with them. Than on Thanksgiving day I met my mommy and daddy’s four grandchildren. WOW! I have a family. I have sooo much to be thankfull for!
Valentine’s Day is a Special Day, but for me, its everyday. A Dog gives you love, and doesn’t just wait for a certain day to show you it. On Valentines Day, we take a special walk to the local parks and then, we go into a Pet Store to buy some goodies. We also send Valentine Cards with a picture of Chuppy in them to spread some Love around the people we love dearly. And as soon the day subsides, I don’t worry much because I know that Chuppy will forever love me no matter what day, or even what Month it is. Love from a Dog is unconditional.
Happy Valentines Day!
For Valentines this year my Valentine Binx and I are going to the Paws in the Park here in Orlando. It happens to be right on Valentines Day this year! It is an annual fundraiser for the SPCA of Central Florida. What better way to show some love for part of the day than to help support a great cause! After we get home Binx will get a new toy and his favorite treat! After all the walking, Binx meeting lots of new doggy friends, and everything that day we will have a snuggly Valentines nap together after! Ah yes, what a great Valentines it will be this year as always with my Binx! Can’t wait!
Just spending valentines day with my mom and furbrother is enough of a gift for me . My mom has given me so much and has done so much for me . The basket would be a present for the both of us to enjoy .
Well, I am spoiled every day, so Valentine’s is just like any other! This year, mom plans on taking me to Petco for their Valentine’s “show your love” event. I will get my picture taken there and get a free bandana. Mom will buy me some treats and everyone will probably make over me!
For Valentine’s Day every year, I get special cookies from a local barkery for my mini schnauzers – Rudy and Mia might not understand the connection between the cookies and Valentine’s Day, but they sure enjoy thier special treats each year! And I enjoy going to the barkery since it typically isn’t something in my “budget’ to
For Valentines day, we aare going to petco and get her picture taken where she can pick out her favorite new toy. I will also cook her a tiny stek with rice, peas and carrots and have a frosty paws for dessert. Then a nap and quality time with cuddles, belly rubs, and kisses!!!
Sometimes I bake heart-shaped dog treats and give them to my dogs and all my friends’ dogs for Valentines Day.
This year we will be going to our favorite pet store because they are having a special Valentines sale/event.
For Valentine’s day, Momma makes me her own homemade Chocolate Hearts. She buys carob chips, melts them, then pours them into little heart casts, and waits for them to harden. Then she drizzles white chocolate over them to make them extra tasty!! Once they are finished, she wraps them in a heart shaped box, and I get to open them on Valentine’s Day along with my valentine toy. I also play tons of fun games with my mom, like cuz ball shuffle(kinda like monkey in the middle), and the blanket game(Momma hides my ball under the blankets). Sometimes we even paint with red and pink paint =) After a long hike together, I get a delicious home-cooked meal just for me! Before bed, I get a cup of tea (some milk), then a long soothing massage to serene music as I fall asleep. I love Valentine’s Day!! =) ~Jesse~
the whole day is dedicated to them…since there pretty much my boyfriends right now bol!! but i drop everything i’m doing to spend time with after all thats what a dog really appreciates! i buy them a toy and some treats…but this year i made them both handmade blankets with there initial sewed into them i cant wait to give them the blankets! after all of the gift giving i’m pretty sure the 3 of us will be curling up in my bed with there new blankets and toys and watching the notebook…well until they get sick of it and we switch to the dog whisperer

We’re going to a party at the local pet store. I’m sure he’ll talk me into a couple treats at the treat bar and maybe a heart shaped chew toy.

I am loved everyday, all you need is some family, some toys and ESPECIALLY treats. this year valentines is a saturday…WHO KNOWS what will happen but one thing is fur sure. All you need is love, sweet love it’s the only thing you can’t live without. (SING WITH ME NOW)
I am Mom’s favorite valentine. My birthday is Feb. 11th and Mom rescued me from going to the pound. Everyday is love from my Mom and I am forever grateful.
Scout
I just love my two beagle boys. Baron helped me to get over the heartbreak of losing Hank who went to the bridge Valentines weekend 5 yrs. ago. Henry was added 2 yrs ago & he’s the comidian of the pair. They are my special boys.
Where to begin…I lost my mini black poodle ^Sarah^ one and a half years ago, there was no joy left in our home..I sent the breeder in CA her memorial page I made for her and she told me she had a 5 year old she was retiring and if we were interested…well I fell apart and knew it was ^Sarah^ telling me she was sending us “Senta”!! She arrived here to us in MI on Jan. 9th,3 months after having 4 puppies and getting spayed, and it was “love” at first sight..we bonded instantly…she is the “sweetest one!!” No wonder, she was born on Feb.14th,2003 VALENTINE’S DAY!!!! There is now love and joy back in our home..”Senta” will have the best birthday ever this year!! God Bless,Michele
i will get my stitches out from my spay surgery on the 10th; so i will be wild with happiness to be all healed up on the 14th!
i want to run free again, jump and scamper without this elizabethan collar and everyone stopping my antics!!
valentines day can’t come too soon!!!!
It’ll start the evening before, where she’ll get to sleep with me in bed.(She’s crate trained and usually stays in the crate overnight) I’ll get up early and take her on her favorite walk around the local golf course. Then breakfast and snuggles on the couch watching morning cartoons. In the afternoon we’ll go to a dog park, then visit memaw, pop-pop, aunt Nanner and uncle irish. She loves to entertain. Once we’re back home again we’ll brush her out and finish with a rawhide.
Our mom needs to get us more treats for Valentines! This would be perfect!
This will be our very first Valentine’s Day with Shadow. We’re excited to celebrate this day with him. We’ve recently brought him to a dog park, he absolutely loved it, I never saw his smile as big as it was that day. So, we will be spending this day at his favorite new place, the dog park!
February 14th is also our wedding anniversary so me, my husband and our three little one’s, Sissy, Paco and Buster will celebrate together. Paco and Buster were both rescue dogs and they show us everyday more love than you could fit into one day. My babies would love the basket and they deserve the best. Their little tails would wag like crazy at the first site of it.
Montana and Bandit are Hosting a Valentines Pawty for their friends at the park. they will be doing a valentines treat exchange. Each dog will bring a decorated valentines box to put their treats in and then they will vote for their favorite box and the winner will recive a valentines goody basket.
We are going to a Valentine Day pawrty with our Agility furiends. There will be Agility games (with a Valentine twist)…treats…and picture taking of all the fun. It’s pAwesome! And I get to flirt with everyfur ;->
I plan to take my 2 Siberian Huskies to Burger King, which is a usual event in this house so it is expected. Then they will have some special treats. I haven’t bought them yet, but I plan to get them a dingo bone (their favorite chewie), a new plush squeaky, and a bag of Chummy Yummies they can share. I’m sure they would love to win the basket, but either way, they are happy dogs. I’ve read the comments, and I’m glad I don’t have to make the choice of who gets the basket. It would be hard to choose. Thanks for the work you do for the rescue groups. My heart goes out to all those dogs who have no human families.
V-day? Is that when you get treats and shoulders rubbed and food you like and are able to sleep on your own sofa? But that is what i get every day! So does that mean every day is a day devoted to ME?
Valentine’s Day will be like any other day for us, but that’s because every day together is full of love, walks, cuddles, and kisses! I’d love to win a special treat to give my special little girl for Valentine’s Day. She sure deserves it.
(PS- She’s helping me write this, and she says if it helps, she’s sending YOU kisses, too!)
Every day is valentines day for Duppy and I. I look foward to coming home from school and work just so I can love him all over. Right now is a rough time in his life, because I am away so much, and our time together for love and exersize is limited. But every minute I have, I spend with him. We practice obedience together, as well as go to classes twice a week in preparation for CGC. When the weather’s bad, we play fetch up and down the stairs for a good work out. We go on bike rides when the roads are clear. On weekends, we go window shopping at the local pet stores and get some good socialization in (and lots of compliments from strangers on his good manners and handsom face!). And for naps, and at the end of the night, I curl up around Duppy and blow raspberries all over his belly and armpits, followed by snuggling and lots of petting/behind the ear scratching. This Valentines Day, him and I are going to visit his (canine) Mom and Dad, and they will have a whole day to romp in the snow and play keep away with giant logs. He is never happier than when he is with Lucy and Kiro(his canine parents) and his human parents, and so for this Valentines day, the whole family will get together and share the love! At the end of the night, we’ll all pile on the bed together and snuggle until morning!
This will be the first Valentine’s with my pup! I’m volunteering for an adoption event at PetSmart for my local Humane Society during the day. But plan on spending the whole evening with my dog: taking her to 3 Dog Bakery for a treat, a nice long walk, and spend the rest of the night playing and cuddling, and watching a cheesy chick flick!
As others have stated, everyday is Valentine’s Day in our house. They may get a few extra treats and stuff, but there is no way we (them or us) could get any more lovin’ than we already do:)
My day will be started out with a few pug kisses. Maybe I will serve him breakfast in bed. Pugsley is so dear to me. After that we will go outside and get the exercise in. Keep him in good shape. After the hard workout we will snuggle on the couch for a quick movie and nap. Plenty of hugs and kisses all day long. The night will be topped off with some very special treats.
Our beagle Jake enjoys homemade dog treats and a long walk on Valentine’s Day. He’s a sweetie pie and laps up all of the extra attention we give him.
We like to walk around our neighborhood with my two Shih Tzus, Chloe & Roxy, dressed in the pink Valentine’s best, giving special kisses to all the kids in the neighborhood. Otherwise, we like to celebrate with our on-line friends on Dogster, especially with our Shih Tzu & Friends United group.
I make all of puppies rice with heart shaped turkey burgers they love it.
This is a day for me to bake goodies for all fo the people and puppies who have helped me throughout the years: my doctor, my bather, my walking buddies, etc. Of course I’m the official taste tester for all of the goodies
since this is gonna be my first Valentine with my first dog, I want it to be special, since I saw this blog, I wanted to check it out. Now I want my own goodie basket for a goodie day with my dog.
Usually we have a Valentine’s Day photoshoot and then I bake some dog biscuits.
The entire pack will wake up early on Valentines Day, load up into the car and head to the dog show. While there, they will compete in agility and try to win lots of ribbons. We will pass out valentines with dog cookies to our favorite friends. Then we will head home, pick up the dogs that didn’t go to the show and head over to grandmas to give her some flowers. Back home we will go where we will find Daddy and we will all have an awesome dinner… with special chicken just for the pups.
I’m my dog’s date for Valentines. They don’t have to worry about being left alone because I’m here for them. We do our normal routine, play fetch with the tennis balls and stuffed toys; I give them belly rubs and pets on the head; I give them each a special treat; and, we all snuggle close while my husband and I watch TV.
This will be my first Valentine’s day with Dexter. Dexter is a Black/White Cocker Spaniel that I adopted in October 2008. He started his life in a puppy mill. Had he stayed there he would have had nothing to look forward to. The puppy mill was closed down by the humane society and he was nursed back to health. I take care of an older gentleman with alzheimers. We went to the humane society to see the kitties and puppies and I saw Dexter! It was love at 1st site! I put my hand up to the front of a glass front cage and he put his paw up to my hand. When I moved my hand he moved his paw. There were 4 other cocker puppies there, but Dexter was the one who made sure to get my attention. They told me he was going to be hard to place as he had a droopy eye and his color was another strike against him. I went home and thought about him all night. I called teh humane society the next morning and asked if he was still there. They said yes, and I told them to hold him…I was already in the car. I paid my fee and filled out the paperwork, then they brought him out. I think he remembered me from the day before and that he knew I was coming back for him, because he ran to me and got in my lap and just kissed me like crazy. I had him housebroken in 3 days time. And me, for someone who did not want a dog, I can not imagine life without Dexter! Dexter is going to work with me on Valentines Day, so that he can give love to all of the other patients where I work. He loves when I take him to work and the other residents of the home love to see him. Then after work we will go home both have dinner and Dexter will get some Valentine cookies that I will make for him specially and then we’ll curl up and go to bed.
We would all really just LOVE to win this goodie basket. Unfortunately Mama has to work this Valentine’s Day so this goodie basket will help us celebrate until she comes home. Then the love fest is on. We just know we will be getting lots of Valentine Hugs & Kisses all day!
Awwww! My poochie would *LOVE* that!
How wonderful!
Anabelle

A run with the dog sled was planned, however all
our snow melted this weekend ! So now we have
a muddy mess…… Bree and Zeke will be allowed
full range of our, I mean, THEIR backyard!
Digging unlimited on Valentines Day !
For Valentine’s Day we give cards to Dad. One from each family member, especially from the Dogs. The cards from the dogs are always the best. The dogs are hoping for a heart shaped box full of Diaper Delights: Each Diaper Delight has a different moist, chewy center, like a box of chocolates. Usually Mom throws the Diaper Delights immediately in the Outside Trash, or else they end up with the “insides eaten” and the Outside shredded on the Living Room Carpet.
This will be Cooper’s first Valentine’s Day with me. He was adopted from the Mid Atlantic Great Dane Rescue this past August. We are going to start a tradition and share some love with his fellow Danes in need by making a Donation to MAGDRL in his name. In addtion, he will get a few of his favorite goodies and some chicken in his kibble.
This year, we will be going to a party at the local animal shelter! It won’t be any different from any otherday, Sam and Roxy get kisses 24/7!
On Valentine’s Day morning my pups are getting pink scrambled eggs on their kibble, they will wear their Valentine’s day dresses and spend the rest of the day being worshipped for the love goddesses they are!
This will be the very first Valentine’s Day for my 2 boxer puppies. Lizzy is 10 months and Lennon is 2 1/2 months old.
This is the first year that we will be embarking upon a Valentine’s tradition.
I have already baked some heart shaped biscuits for Lizzy & Lennon – plus I will be making them their favorite food for their “Valentine’s Dinner”.
I bought new plush squeaky toys that I am planning to hide – and see if they can track it down – sort of a Valentine’s hide and seek game.
Then they will luxuriate in a nice, warm puppy bath, received puppy massages right before they get tucked in for the night in new fuzzy blankets I bought them (Lizzy’s is pink and Lennon’s is red).
Those are my plans, for celebrating Lizzy’s and Lennon’s first Valentine’s day!
We’re hoping for nice weather so me and my mama can take a bike ride out to the wildlife refuge. There are lots of Canada geese in the air these days and they stop over in the marshes and wetlands there. I ride behind my mama in a little milk crate and have a new harness and safety strap that I got for Christmas. I’ll be styling and having fun. When we get home, I bet mama will give me treats and I’ll give her a faceful of Valentine’s kisses.
Ziggy
On Valentines Day each of my pets get treated. I have 4 dogs, 3 cats & 9 birds. I make home made treats. Bird treats, a cornbread recipe. The cats get either sardines,or tuna fish with eggs(this is a treat cause they only get it a few times a year). And the dogs, I make them some special eggs, plus they get a new chew bone. Then we can’t forget the extra kisses…and this is my valentines from the dogs… the extra leg rubs from the cats….and the sweeter bird sounds. It’s a Happy Valentines Day for both me and my pets!.
Hello, this is Mandy and boy oh boy do we have fun on Valentines Day!! Mommy and my little 3 year old skin sister make lots and lots of yummy treats for Abby and I! They also pick out cute red and pink doggie toys for us!! What more could a boxer girl ask for!!
I love my three dogs more than words can express every day of the year. This Valentines day they each get their own plush toy complete with a squeaky of course and endless showering of yummy treats for their tummies.
Yume, I adopted from my local SPCA, Kashi I rescued from a local high kill shelter and Koinu is a stray puppy that I kept after I could not find her owner and she became deathly sick.
My dogs are my best friends and make life complete for me. Their endless love and companionship is worth every penny I spend on them, every trip to the vet, every cold potty trip outside, the random hair in my dinner, not to mention on my work clothes and in my car!
Quite simply, dogs = love!
I have 5 Valentines to celebrate with and we are going on a hike and then we will spend the rest of the day with hugs, treats and kisses. My husband died 7 years ago and I have filled my home with furry, loving, gorgeous creatures. My life is full and blessed to have that kind of unconditional love in it. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Every day for us is Valentines Day. We give mom the unconditional love, our deepest gratitude. Our happy little faces when she comes home from work. If she had a not so good day, we still love her we don’t ask questions, we are so darn happy to see her. We love her with all our hearts, and what she does for us is even more. She loves us all (8)(even when were not so good) very much everyday. When were sick, she stays up all night with us, waiting for a sign that were getting better.she does with out so that we can have the finer things in a dogs life, Everyday is valentines Day with us. Mom couldn’t show us anything different on valentines day that she don’t do EVERYDAY.except give us cupcakes.
Last year we spent Valentine’s Day digging out a large potty area for the dogs after a heavy snowstorm! This year it’s just me and the dogs, so I plan on making it extra special with a trip to town, yummy valentine’s cookies from the barkery, and tons of love and affection!
This is Koda’s first Valentine’s Day. He has made a wonderful addition to my life, as well as making my mom more energetic and happy as well. Koda loves the outdoors, so we will all go on a Valentine’s Day Hike. When we stop for a picnic, Koda will get a special treat. We will spend the day thankful for our new friend and he will spend the day taking in the beauty of the world
I will be going with my mom and dad on a day trip to High Falls State Park! We will hike on the trails and get to see the cool waterfalls and have a picnic! Then when we get home I will help mom make my favorite apple & peanut butter cookies!
This year for Valentine’s Day my dog, Zeus, and I will be going to a fundraiser the SPCA of Orlando is having called Paws in the Park. It’s a one mile walk around a lake and they have contests and booths that we’ll be able to visit. I’m just hoping the weather will be nice! When we get home, Zeus will get a special treat for being such a special little guy!
Our dog will be wearing her festive Valentine’s Day bandana and we are buy her special heart-shaped treats from a local dog bakery. And of course extra tummy rubs will be in order, too!
The Brat Pack will spend their day lounging in the yard and taking naps with whoever lays with them. Mom will have our favorite beef sticks ready to let us know how much she loves us.
Luckily, Valentines Day is the same day as me and my husband’s anniversary, so we celebrate the day as a family – dogs and all. While the hubby is at work, I get started making a cake for the adults and a dog biscuit cake for my Labs, Jerry and Lucy. Then, I will take the dogs to a place that they LOVE…The lake for a quick swim! Come dinner time, the hubby and I will have a romantic homemade dinner while my dogs eat their own heart-shaped hamburgers. After dessert, the dogs get to go for a stroll around the neighborhood. Before the dogs go to sleep, I will shower them w/ love and hugs and let them know how much their Mommy and Daddy love and appreciate them.
I absolutely LOVE my little pug Lily and can’t think of a better day to pamper her with all of her favorite things. She loves to have a special breakfast everynow and then with steel cut oats and flax seed. After her breakfast we will do her next favorite thing to do besides snacking and put our shoes on and go for a walk. Once her walk is done, she loves to snuggle in a blanket and take a little nap beside me. Maybe after her nap we can go for a trip to Petsmart and buy her a new pretty outfit and take her to visit the dog park. The day wouldn’t be complete without a visit outside to see her best friend who lives next door, Franklin. Although he is more than 5 times her size, and has a lot more hair, I do think she loves him.
It is pretty much Valentine’s day at our house everyday…BOL We all get something special everyday. I have to say, Hannah is the most thankful of them all. If you could see the joy in her eyes when the treats come out. It will make a bad day good. This basket would make it a very special Valentines day for them all, but I think Hannah would be so thankful. Plus it would lite my day to see her so joyful!!
I LOVE to celebrate with my three furkids. Valentine’s Day is no exception. We will have special cookies, a gourmet meal, & extra playtime. The boy – o- s & I will be playing ball & romping in the park.
Blessed be…
We are to spend the day lounging and watching movies. Popcorn and treats included.
We are three now, and all of us are going to celebrate with Mama and Grandma. How about nice long walkies in the woods and then a delicious hot dog treat for 3 very good dogs.
Savannah’s 3rd, Samoa’s 2nd and Dub’s 1st Valentines!
Everyday our two bassethounds get hugs and kisses, but Valentine’s Day calls for an abundance of them as well as special treats from the Doggy Barkery.
This Valentine’s Day will be spent enjoying all the qualities that our dogs possess and give to us freely – everyday!

I love my dog, Bandit, with all my heart. He has always been there for me, in the good times and bad. I have had some tough experiences in the last year, and he’s been my constant supporter. I already have a new toy waiting for him, which is hidden from view until Valentine’s Day, and he will get some extra special treats. We will also find a new exciting place to walk together, because he loves his walks. And, then, of course some extra hugs and kisses for my best friend!
Every year, my husband and I have Valentine’s dinner with the dogs. Besides what we have, the dogs get salmon and rice. Everyone gets a massage. This year, our lab went the bridge and my husband is deployed. My Great Dane, Lars, and I will have to fill the void. We plan on going to the lake, having a treat at McDonalds (burger and ice cream cone) then home for the massage!
Our Lab, Ping will have a new toy for Valentine’s Day and some treats!! Then we will play fetch and then he will nap.
We love Valentine’s Day because it reminds everyone that there is always time to say “I love you” (and it is a good excuse to get mushy!) Mum makes us cards (which Cooper tears up and eats) and of course, there are some cookies from “Animal Crackers Pet Store” to make the day extra special.
Does anybody else love what the ASPCA does?
I think that the basket should go to Sammy for Valentine’s Day. God knows he deserves it and all of us Doggies have Mommies & Daddies who love us and that is a gift all by itself!
I make sure Sandy is wearing her Valentine’s collar with hearts on it and use her matching leash. I make her all pretty and bring her to work with me to wish the kids at the school a happy Valentine’s day. They give her tonssss of love!
My sweet Pepper was born on Valentine’s Day so it would be a great honor to win this basket. She is super sweet and this would make her so happy on her Birthday! We will be out shopping this Valentine’s day with Pepper to let her pick out a new giant loofa to play with. She will of couse be wearing her pink collar and leash. Thanks.. Pepper’s Mom
This Valentine’s Day, we are getting up early and participating in a fundraiser for our local animal shelter, the SPCA of Central Florida. It’s an annual tradition for us, although this is the first time it’s fallen on Valentine’s Day. We’ve been collecting donations ever since last year, and mama even helped me open a store where I can sell blankies and quilts..and every penny of those sales is being donated to the animal shelter. I’m also going to be entered in the kissing contest! How embarassing! Kissing my mother in public! But a dog’s gotta do what a dog’s gotta do! And when the walking, and the kissing and the fundraising is over…we are gonna go home and take the best nap we ever had! BOL!
We’re going to spend Valentines Day at the Bark Park! A fun day of playing with my brother and some new friends. Then we’ll unwind by watching some TV at home.
Well, everyday is like Valentine’s day for me and my furblings. Mom plans to spend the day giving us extra loving, hugs and kisses. Maybe a few new toys and treats. And I think I heard her saying something about baking something super special for us and giving us an extra yummy dinner.
And she plans to take the older pups for a walk anywhere they choose. And my sisfur and I get to go out for some super-duper playing and running.
Mom says that she loves us so much and we are so good for her. She says that without us, she would be so lost.
We celebrate Valentine’s Day with red-and-pink collars; homemade, heartshaped doggie biscuits; and lots of love. Loki and Kaia say they don’t need anything more for Valentine’s Day, but they would like to nominate our local shelter, the Albany Humane Society, for the basket. There are lots of homeless pups there who need to know someone loves them.
This valentine’s day our family is celebrating by attending an Adopt-a-thon event with our current foster dog, a Great Pyranese/Anatolian shepherd mix named Samson. I’m confident someone will fall head over heals for this handsome boy and he’ll be the love of their life. Max and Heidi, my own four-legged adopted children, get to tag along as proof pawsitive there are happy endings for rescued dogs.
Valentines day is a super fun day! Mom, dad, Jeb and I usually either go camping or to the beach. This year we are packing a picnic and going to Folly beach (unless it rains). We live Charleston which always has great weather in Feb, nice and warm
Mom and dad don’t have furlesskids yet, so they share the day of love with us, their furkids.
They don’t worry about buying each other fancy gifts and going out to dinner. They prefer to share their time with us doing something special.
mama and i are going for a 5K walk to help the Lung Association. we are also going to go to a bookstore that helps homeless cats.
i am very loved all year round so mama and i are going to help others on this special day
Weather permitting we will spend a day at the farm “chasing the sheep” followed by a warm soothing bath and massage as well as a pawdicure. Then we will enjoy a home baked meal (instead of the everyday kibble)with a frozen yogurt chaser.
Well, this will be Meili’s very first Valentines Day! Of course she will be loved and smooched on, but she will also get some very special treats. I will also put her in her favorite sweater and take her for a good long walk. After that, it will be play time with her toys Gary and Pinky! Then, as a final treat for the day, she will get her kong ball, stuffed with lots of yummy goodies!
Since my wife will be out of town this Valentines Day, and we are expecting rain, I intend to spend a nice and cozy day with my ’son’, Frankie, our miniature schnauzer.
It will be just Frankie and I that day, so I intend to take him to a local pet store for a new toy, come home and bake him some homemade organic treats, and sit on the couch with me next to the fireplace as we watch a movie.
Frankie’s dinner will be a treat – fresh salmon and chopped cauliflower…his favorite.
It’s the least I can do for my boy, as he has done nothing but bring me happiness, joy, and laughter in his three years in my life.
I’LL SPEND THE DAY GIVING SHAY A BEAUTY DAY. I DO HER NAILS, TEETH, BATH AND BRUSH. SMOTHER HER WITH VALENTINES TREATS , KISSES AND HUGS.
My dog Bruce is my best Valentine. Even though I came into his world and took a bunch of attention from mom and dad, Bruce has been so good to me. This Valentine’s Day, I will throw Bruce’s mallard duck toy for him so he can run around. Then I will pet him “gently” as my mom likes to remind me. I might sneak him something from my highchair since he loves the people food so much. But most of all, I will tell him I am a lucky little boy to have the nicest basset hound in the world.
I got Mimi when she was 6 and she’s now 13. She’s now starting to show some age, which makes me sad. Valentine’s Day reminds me of how much love she gives me each and every day!
