Final Victory For Var
In Spokane, Washington Var the police dog is getting ready for retirement. He has been on duty for 8 years but was retiring due to medical issues.
Var wanted to make sure his last night on duty would not be forgotten. He was determined to get one more arrest under his paw.
A tip led officers to surround a house Sunday night, and in the ensuing search Officer Dan Lesser and Var found the 19-year-old suspect hiding in the basement.
Three other teens were being sought in connection with the stabbing death of 22-year-old Shannon Cochran.
Now that’s what I call a victory.
