This week in January 2004 was the official start of Dogster. I wanted to take a moment to wish Dogster a Happy 5th B-Day and to thank all the behind the scenes people, that never get the credit they deserve, for giving dog lovers such a wonderful place to call their own.

I joined because I saw somebody else’s dog page, I thought it was cool so I made on for my dog!
Now I mainly use it for answering questions.
I came across the site by accident and have loved it ever since!
When Tico was attacked, my Dogster family is what kept me going!
Their unconditional love,support and generosity was truly a blessing!
This is the first place I come in the morning and the last place I check at night.
We’ve made some wonderfur friends and had loads of fun doing card & gift exchanges, fun contests and some pretty darn fun games too!
We all just love Dogster and look forward to another pawsome year!

I joined Dogster,in August 2008, a friend of mine had mentioned the site. I love it! It’s the best thing next to sliced pie! I love the groups that I am in, if you have questions people are willing to help you out if they can. Dogster is the best idea anybody could have come up with! Why WE joined dogster. Hmmmm that’s easy. WE (Auntie Charlotte & I) joined dogster because of my auntie C’s love. You see when I came to be in the Flewelling house it was a HUGE suprise. I was there for a week and then AC (Auntie C) came to visit. She cried sooo hard, she knew it was love. (shes’s crying now as she helps me write this) I came over and licked her happy tears away. For the love of dog, that’s why we joined dogster. That’s why *for the love of dog* is the motto of dogster.
I joined dogster in Oct. 2008. I put my dog Wyoming on the site because I wanted to create something that was all hers. She is battling cancer and even though we are members of a wonderful canine cancer group I thought it would be an upbeat and fun thing for us to do together. Dogster has given us the chance to enjoy and play as if cancer were not a part of our daily lives, it is a great retreat for us. Since Wyoming was having so much fun I also placed my other three dogs on dogster. My pack appreciates all the kind and wonderful dog lovers that have befriended us since joining. Happy Birthday Dogster!!!!! Thanks to All at Dogster.

I had just lost my dog and I was looking for a way to honor his memory and help me grieve….and I came across Dogster surfing the web…. that was in 2006.
Thank you Dogster for helping me through one of the most painful times of my life by giving me a way to remember my Binny. Happy Birthday! Hugs & wet nose kisses form our pack to yours.
We joined Dogster on July 22, 2008. It was the day before Wilson’s surgery for Legg-Calve Perthes Disease. I was worried to death and searching the internet for last minute information, statistics, or anything else to give me some peace of mind. I came across Dogster and was instantly hooked! We have made such wonderful friends here and are so thankful for them and everyone at Dogster!

I found Dogster by accident and i’m so happy i found this site. I was searching google with something to do with “dog” and i found the site and decided to add Candi a page…ever since then i have been on this site and i love it. It’s the best site i’ve ever been on (not to mention, ADDITCING!). I would never regret joining and i have met so many pals on here. Without this site we wouldn’t be able to express our feelings with “Love of Dog” You all are truly amazing and are all very kindhearted, loving, and caring. Dogster is the perfect place to be at or come whether you’re in need for some friends, love, dog information etc. Dogster is the best site in the world, NONE of the sites where you make pages for your dog is as good as Dogster. Happy Woofday Dogster!!!! I joined Dogster when I lost my 4 babies….I was surfing the web trying to find some grief support and what did I find…DOGSTER!!!! Dogster has been such a great help in helping me heal and accept that I could not have done anymore to help my babies and I now know without a doubt that I will meet furbabies again!!! Yes…Dogster is for fun, but it is so much more than that…for some it is a lifesaver!!!
Making a memorial page for my furbabies and being able to visit them each and everyday is so awesome….Thank you Dogster we love you guys!!

Happy Happy 5th Birthday Dogster! I joined in September 2008, someone knows how much I love Dino and Buddy and mentioned the site. I have been a regular poster since. I love being able to tell the story how I became blessed with these two wonderful furbabies. I was so happy to be able to celebrate Dino’s 7th Birhtday here on Dogster with all the wonderful new friends and pals he has here. It is truly an honor that his Birthday is the same month as the creation of Dogster. I was also blessed being able to celebrate Buddy’s 6th BIrthday in October. Dogster is truly a remarkable work of art. I wish to thank everyone who had a hand in tis creation and send big hugs and kisses to them all!
Momma found Dogster through a group in Facebook and decided to check it out…I joined July 5, 2007 and have not missed a day here since..Momma is addicted so bad..She started my own group and she is amazed at how many friends who have now become family to us that she made from all over the world.. She has learned how to do a lot of different things that she never would have and she is having a blast doing them..She says if it wasn’t for Dogster she would have had a dull boring life…
Dogster is truly the best site for Dogs and for making friends and its very informative.

We joined Dogster/Catster after reading about the site in “BARK” magazine in 2005. We thought, what a fun site, and we were right! It is a real tail wagger.
Do you remember those days? No groups or blogs way back then. You have come a long way Dogster!

I was bored, so I asked mom if I could do some surfing on the world wide web, she just LOL @ me.
But she got up from the chair and let me give it a try.
It was my first time surfing, so I was a little wobbly,
all over the place, some places I shouldn’t have been, glad mom never saw that !!
So… anywho… Im just surfing along, looking for treats and some new toys, when this place comes up, DOGSTER. So I put on the surfboard breaks and just had to check it out. I’d never seen so many fine looking canines all in one place, and I could even find out all about them by reading their bios, I had found my destiny!!!! I jumped right off that surfboard and into the Dogster water, and I have been swimming and floating and pawteeing ever since. I have more pals than mom does, and I even get more Christmas cards and pressies by mail than mom does. Things have never been the same since that day in June, 2006, right before my first birthday. What a wonderful, lifelong birthday present it was. Thank you Dogster people and your pets, for inspiring you to start this wonderful place, called Dogster, or as I like to call it, My Second Furever Home. Happy Birthday, and a toast to many many more !!

Mumma was looking for a place that had compassion and love for dogs…as Clover was nearing the Bridge..and she just felt there would be others in this world that felt like her….when she first found Dogster…she just wanted to have a place to show her love for Clover…never did she believe she had stumbled across a wonderful…caring..and loving community. She has laughed till she cried…..cried a river of tears for pups that have made their journey…made friends that she never would have thought possible..

We found out about Dogster from watching The Greatest American Dog. We were watching one day and saw a commercial for Dogster so the next day I decided to check it out. I thought it was cool, so I made my dog a page. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into, but I’m glad I did It!! I get so many helpful tips and found many other people who love their dogs just as much as I do!! Happy 5th Dogster!!!!!

My daughter introduced me to Dogster a couple of years ago. I just loved that I was now able to tell the world how much my dogs mean to me. How they are a huge part of making my life much happier. I first heard about Dogster in 2004 from my nieces’ who had joined. The minute I saw it, I knew I wanted to be a part of this community. So, I joined and made Sugar and Peanutty’s pages. Later, after getting Bambi in 2005, I made a page for her as well. Since that day in 2004, I’ve been hooked! Dogster became a part of my daily routine, and has continued to be to this day. I have met so many wonderful dog owners here, truly loving and caring people who I am proud to call friends. Not only is Dogster full of information and caring advice, it’s also a fun place to forget about the everyday stress of life. It’s my favorite “outlet” for sure! If there is ever a time I am unable to be on Dogster, I absolutely can’t stand it. That’s how important it is to me. I hope to spend many, many more years here! I ♥ Dogster. Thank you to everyone that keeps this place going! You all rock. =)

One of Mummy’s colleagues at her work told her about Dogster and she had joined, at work, within 15 minutes of him telling her about it. She loves me so much, and she wanted to share me with the rest of the world. She loves all dogs too and wanted very much to find somewhere where people were kind and compassionate and loved dogs as much as she does.
We’ll have been here two years come July and we love Dogster so much. We’ve made some wonderful friends here who we know will be lifelong friends, and we learn something new every day. What touches us the most deeply though is the compassion, unconditional love and caring for every single person here for all dogs.

Two years ago a friend told me about Dogster. We finally got the girls online 6 mos. ago. Dogster has been a pleasure for the whole family… even the extended family! Have a great 5th birthday Dogster… We know you will have many more yet to come!
We joined Dogster in June 2006, at first to meet new friends around the globe. In September of that year, Lalla was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and underwent amputation surgery. From that moment on, Dogster became an invaluable resource through it’s incredible Tripods Rule! group which was our daily dose of encouragement and support – a place where we’ve made friends who are with us to this day, even after Lalla’s passing in June 2008. Dogster has also been the place where Lalla’s unique, kind character was recognized by Cesar Millan’s Dogster Group (Cesar’s Dogster Pack), when she was named Daddy’s Official Valentine for 2008 and was given the wonderful opportunity to “pass it on”.
We are thankful and happy to be on Dogster!

Dogster.com is a client of ServerBeach. Ted Rheingold has done business with us for about 4 years now. I met Greg Olson about 2 years ago in SFO to learn more about Dogster. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t added my lovely boxer, Topaz, to Dogster yet. I know so many dog lovers that weren’t aware of this site. I had to do my duties to spread the word about this amazing site. There is still a lot of dog love to spread and I have great hopes for the longevity of Dogster. Happy 5th Birthday and in 5 more years, we will be saying Happy 10th Birthday! Keep up the good work.

At the time I joined Dogster, I had two wonderful dogs-one that I was particularly close to, and wanted to show them off to family and friends. I have since lost that particular puppy but I will always have dogs in my life and they will always be my world. I wanted to join a network of people who love their “kids” as much as I do! Would you believe some people think we’re nuts?!??

BOL.. I got my Mom to make a page on Dogster for me and my best furreind Shadow.. RIP.. our Pawrent joined us up in March 2008 after seeing our other furriends Dogster page. Mom checked out the Dogster sight and was confident that this site was all about the ‘love of our dogs’ and was happy to set up our page too! Since then, Shadow has passed and the Dogster members were there for all of us when we were mourning our loss. Then came Simon and Mom signed him up too.. All of the Dogster members welcomed him to the group like he has always been a member.. This kindness that has always been consistent with Dogster members is proof.. its all about “For the love of our Dogs” and that is why we are here… and why we will stay.. Happy Birthday Dogster and may God Bless all of the Dogster Members with many more years of “for the love of our dogs”,,

I joined in December last year because of my crawfish video entry at another dog site. I received an invitation and began making furiends here. We learned how wonderful this place is after adopting Miracle last February. The true love and outpouring of kindness during her adoption, surgeries and the heartfelt sympathy received after her unexpected AIHA diagnosis which quickly sent her to Rainbow Bridge was the best support anywhere. We are forever grateful to Dogster and our furiends on Dogster for this. It is truly a place for dogs and dog lovers through the good and bad times; just like family. We cherish our friendships here. Thank you for a grrrrrrreat site; it is truly the best dog place on the Internet!! BOL!!!

I joined dogster when I had Tiffany and Sabrina after reading it in our local newspaper. So glad I did because with the help of the Rainbow Bridge Angel Babies helped me when my Tiffany died then I got Abigale June to keep Sabrina company. I have met a lot of friends through dogster.
