I have a few myself (that I have rescued). I also realize that there are lots of purebred pups that do end up in shelters and rescue groups. I personally know this because I volunteer and foster for a rescue group. Some of the pups I've fostered have been purebreeds. I only meant that there should be alot more "mutts" in the movie just to show that they are just as good and sometimes better than purebreeds. That they are just as smart and loveable as purebreeds. These precious "mutts" abound by the thousands in shelters and rescue groups. Usually people will adopt a purebreed before they adopt a "mutt". I've seen this time and time again.
