Stand By Me

There is no loyalty like that of a dog, humans however, are sometimes questionable. On New Year’s Eve in Montebello, CA a little brown dog stood outside the emergency room at the Beverly Hospital.
The dog was pacing outside the emergency room entrance after he had followed an ambulance there. He was believed to be looking for his owner.
Hospital staff dubbed the cute little dog “Beverly” as they continued to find her waiting, day after day, checking out the entrance and parking lot. She really touched their hearts and they took to making sure she was fed. Beverly even slept in the golf cart used by Head security officer Joe Lucero and his staff.
“She even would ride along with us or follow us as we made our rounds of the parking lot,” he said.
The staff thought they had tracked down the owner when they “matched” up Beverly with the ambulance she followed in. The woman lived only a few blocks away from the hospital which would have made sense. When they contacted the woman’s family they did say the dog was hers but later denied it so now the little dog who showed such love and loyalty had no one, except for the hospital staff which had unofficially adopted her.
You’ll be happy to know that one of the staff has “officially” adopted the loyal, loving little brown dog. Now Beverly will always have someone to stand by her.

How in the world could they say “Beverly “was their’s and then deny it………?????? I’m glad someone took her, they don’t deserve her!!!!!!
I’m glad little Beverly has a new family, the old one didn’t deserve her.
And we are supposed to be more evolved??? I think it is fantastic that “Bev” was adopted. Kudos to her new family!
Geez, my blood pressure just went through the roof. What a bunch of jerks. I’m so glad this loving, loyal little pup now has the home he/she deserves. I hope the former owners get what they deserve
Wow that is true devotion. I am glad her new family appreciates such love & devotion, unlike those she followed to the hospital.
Apparently the Old Family never spelled the word DOG backwards. Thus explaining why the little dog stayed outside the ER out of love and loyalty.
Little Beverly is better off with her new family. Those who cannot appreciate what they have shouldn’t be blessed with it.
Oh! That is very sad story.
I feel broken heart with little “Beverly”
Last 10 years ago when my uncle died, his dog “Boo-Bee” was howling and ran around his house tried to search for my uncle for several days without eating.
We tried to force him to eat, but it didn’t work out, so we took him to the veterinary, but doctor couldn’t do much for him.
Finally Boo Bee left us to follow his master in another world.
