Please Attend Vigil For Murdered Puppy

Yesterday I posted the story about the puppy killed in Gwinnett, GA. A candlelight vigil is being planned by Southern Cross GSD Rescue and they need your help.
In order to make it happen they need dog lovers to unite, to make a commitment to attend and show their support.
Southern Cross is planning on holding a candlelight vigil for the killed pup. We need to get as many people there as possible. Please attend and ask your friends to come with you.
We are trying to get a feel for how many people will attend, and would greatly appreciate if you would send an email to Southern Cross GSD Rescue or Wanda at lakota@uga.edu letting us know if we can count on you.
The candlelight vigil is to be held on January 24th at 6pm. It will be located at the pavillion at Shorty Howell Park, near Party City in Duluth. The address is 2750 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth, GA. It would mean great media coverage for this horrible crime. As dog lovers your help is needed!!
We are at $9,000.00 now for the reward, thanks!! I am hoping to hear from you.
PLEASE…get as many people as you can!
Please come together on January 24th to make it clear that this type of crime will not be tolerated in your community, that any person who commits this type of crime will not be allowed to get away with it. The person(s) responsible will be caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

This is horrible, I hope that this person is caught.Right now that is all my family can do is offer our prayers. …my mom is going to be laid off for 1 month.
We can not be there since we live so far away, but we will be praying for these bad people or bad person to be caught and punished for this horrible crime. Furs are just innocent creatures that are put here to give love. For someone to take that away…well, God will handle it.
OMD that is just terrible. Some one with the guts to do that is a horrible person. Me and mommy would definitly come but she has a competition.

This is just horrendous what happened to this puppy. I think you are correct in saying that if someone could do this to a puppy it could escalate. Yesterday a puppy, tomorrow it could be a toddler. I wish I lived in the area so I could attend. I will mark the date and time and from my home I will be praying that the person/s responsible are caught and brought to justice.
When crimes against animals occur it just moves me to tears and makes me so angry. I wish that the punishment for the human(s) who commit these horrendous acts fit the crime. Our hearts go out to this poor pup and countless others who unfortunately are viewed by many humans as possessions and disposable.
My God!! How could they? Why would they? And who are they?
I just pray that that poor pup died quickly.
Here is a new story that just came out today:

Well….we wish we could go but mom is to busy and we live to far..we will pray for you though!!that poor puppy did not diserve that!! hopefully that person will be cought and punished!
It’s a horrible thing when a person or persons kills innocent animals. Not only kill them but to hurt them in anyway. Hopefully the ones who did this will be punished. We and our parents live so far away so we will just offer our prayers. About eight years ago before we came to be with our parents they had another cat, Patches, someone shot her with an arrow. The arrow went through both of the back legs. She managed somehow to hobble home and when she did our parents took Patches to the vet. At that time the vet took out the arrow and found out that Patches was pregnant. Luckly the arrow missed all kittens and they were born safely. Anyway we will be praying for Triton and his family. For such a horrible crime to be committed to such a thing that can not defend its self is just wrong in so many words. God bless.
We can’t be at the vigil tonight but our thoughts & prayers will be there in spirit. We can’t even put into words what we’d like to do to the creature who did this to a precious puppy!
I just can’t believe that someone could do this. I am so very sorry I cannot be there.
I hope they/he/she are caught and the same done to them as they did to this poor little creature.
I AM SO SICK WITH RAGE.I KNOW IT SOUNDS RUFF BUT WHO EVER DID THIS SHOULD REALLY EXPERIENCE WHAT THEY DID. MY HEART HURTS FOR THAT PUP AND THE FAMILY. GOD I AM PISSED. I LIVE ON WHIDBEY ISLAND SO I CANT MAKE THE SERVICE I WILL BE THERE IN SPIRIT AND I WILL HAVE MY DOG WHO WENT TO RAINBOW BRIDGE ON THE 12 HELP THIS PUPPY HEAL
im so sorry
Justice will come to the monsters of evil who would kill a powerless puppy! The victim of this crime is forever in my thoughts and prayers, and this evil deed strikes close to my heart as I am an owner of a German Shepherd puppy.
God bless,
Marina
