There’s a great deShedding product on the market, the FURminator. This and the RapidBath, you may remember from our You’re A Very Dirty Dog contest, are two of my favorite products. I use the FURminator at least every other day, it’s a must have with three large dogs.

We have this product at home and believe me it works. You pull so much fur you are tempted to keep going and going and going…especially with my beagle/basset/dachsund mix. Her fur is short (not chihuahua short) and she releases more than our lab who has a longer coat…amazing!
I never thought living with a Boxer/German shepherd would be this bad..I sit down on my couch and stand up with a whole handful of hair it terrible.. I cant take a nap without risking i might wake up with dog hair in my mouth or all over me.. I really need this.. Please enter me and help me!

We need the furminator! I have two dogs a lab mix and a pit bull terrier. Who knew that the short hair dogs shed so much! Bear is dark haired and Babby Girl is light so my rug and couch look like they have a black and tan patterns. Help!

I’ve been thinking of getting one for a while for my medium-sized dog. He looks like a mini Golden Retriever, but may be all or part Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retreiver. He sheds a lot and tolerates brushing but doesn’t enjoy it like my German Shepherd mix does (he even likes to be brushed with the rubber bristle broom!). I’d love to find a brush that would make brushing a treat for him and help him be cooler in the summer.
I love the Furminator! My neighbors recently purchased one and they totally sold me on it. I have 2 dogs & 2 cats who would definitely put the Furminator to good use!
We just replaced our year old carpets with hardwood. When we pulled those carpets up, you should have seen the hairy horror! I thought I kept my house pretty clean… and taking a sticky roller with us in every vehicle/ purse/ overnight bag is just another day in the life of a multi-pet owner… but OMG those floors were NASTY! I tried to get my husband to factor the cost of the Furminator into our home remodeling budget, but to no avail. We have 2 dogs (one long, one short haired, both shed like it’s going out of style!) and 3 cats, one of which is in fact MEDIUM, she’s huge!

I would love to win this for my dad and step mom. They have 2 dogs who shed and she is ill and can’t always get everything. My grandmother lives with them and has a bad medical condition also. I think this would be a perfect christmas gift for them. I have told them about this and they would def. put it to very very good use.

We need one badly at this house because my Mommy does rescues and the house is full of furballs. Mommy sweeps up what looks like could be made into another dog every single day. It’s hard on Mommy to do that due to her health but she loves all of us so much. So please send her one.

I have an American Eskimo, and she desperately
needs the Furminator. I have to carry a mini lint
brush in my pocket book, because when I get into the car I always seem to get her fur on my clothes just before I get to work. I know the Furminator will eliminate this extra chore, to say the least about the
endless vacuuming of floors and furniture, and my
company complaining about her fur.
This would be great at my house. I have 4 labs and foster for a local rescue, so there are always dogs that need to be Furminated. I would seriously wear it out at my house!!!!!
Ohh i would luv a furminator! My kubbi is 13 and minds the heat terribly. The Furminator would help keep the dead hair off & keep him comfy.
My house is full of fur . With 2 dogs, one of which is a cocker spaniel, and 3 kitties, the Furminator would be a godsend. I try to keep on top of the fur balls that collect in the corners, and the haze that collects on the furniture , but I’ve heard great things about the Furminator and I could once again leave the house without fur clinging to my clothes. Yes I let my pets on the furniture – I don’t practice good alfa behavior I’m afraid and my pets walk all over me. All but 1 were rescues and I don’t have the heart to make them stay on the floor.
People often assume that because American Bulldogs have such short hair that they don’t shed. WELL.. I beg to differ. I have Crunch lovin’s on everything what I need is a lint roller that hangs from my key chain. HE SHEDS MORE THAN THE CAT! No chances that they also make a DROOLminator??
Every time I sweep the floors (and they get swept 2-3 days a week), I find enough fur to make another dog! We love our “Shelby” girl, but not her fur puppies….
I would love to try this out on my puggle and maybe reduce some of those sassy puggle hairs embeded in all my furniture!

I have a pug/chihuahua mix and two cats it is so embarassing when people come over and wear dark colored clothes and sit on my furniture or one of the animals sits on them. They stand up and they are covered with hair. I usually have 3 or 4 lint rollers on hand to try to clean them up. I think that a Furminator would REALLY help.

I have two German Shepherds that live in the house with me. Plus, I work with a German Shepherd Rescue. This thing would help us so much. I have ate more hair in my life than pasta…LOL If you know anything about Shepherds they are such heavy shedders. This would help our rescue so much. Not to mention our homes and diet.

in our house, the standard joke is “we sweep up a new dog every day”. the sheer volumn of hair our two girls lose every day is astounding! we should definitely win the fur-minator!

I would love to win a FURminator. It would be a great addition to our household – we have a husky/shepard/chow mix with the thickest fur I have ever felt in a dog. This means that there is a constant shedding problem. We vacuum all the time because of the flying fur and my allergies have gotten worse because of it. The FURminator would be saving us a lot of problems – both cleaning and health-wise.
we have 2 mutts a beagle and a lab in our house. When I rescued the mutts I really wanted short haired dogs and I’m a sucker for personality. They are chow lab shepards. Super nappy. When we do the monthly bath we an literally fill half a city garbage can. We live in a Huge loft on hollywood blvd with no yard so the living room is the yard (for playing not pooping) the drifts every week are unreal. We want to have fundriaising parties for our non profit at the house but we want to be cooking not vacuming at the last minute when the fancy folks are coming over and we don’t want our dogs hemoraging hair when they decide they want to pet them. We really need a furminator for our nappy dogs.
I have a White German Shepherd & A Jack Russell..Lord help me! They both shed like crazy and it gets very tiring to continuously brush them vigorously throughout the day. I can’t even begin to imagine it would be as simple as a few gentle swipes across the coat, but that’s what I’ve been told. I’ve just never had the money to buy one!

I could use the Furminator as we have foster Bulldogs come through our house quite often and many of them are in pretty bad shape. I can see them now, pretty/handsome as could be because they were groomed with the Furminator. This might even help them be adopted faster…………….

Mom has wanted a Furminator for over a year now, but with 4 dogs the money always seemed to be needed for something else. Dogters, medicine, groomers,food,etc.
Wearing dog hair to work has become the norm but is sure would be nice to leave the house in hair free clothes for a change!

I would love to win a FURminator. I have a German Shepherd who sheds so heavily that I really should vacuum the carpet everyday. However, I am disabled and cannot do it as often as I would like. Winning a FURminator would be a real blessing!
My Harley is a four-legged, 90 lb, furry-haired eating machine! Part Chow and long haired shephard, he’s all hair. He probably wouldn’t weigh that much if I could ever get all the furr of him! HELP!
We recently added an addition to our family and her name is Alexis and she is a boxer. I do have allergies with her but I love her already and will not get rid of her so I want to try the furminator on her to see is it will help with her dander. We have a schnauzer but he doesn’t shed so therefore I am not allergic to him. Please help.Mihcelle
From what I’ve read about these things It just seems like the FURminator and golden retreivers go together likes peas in a pod. maybe we’ll get lucky and get to eat christmas dinner without the side of fur. BOL.

We need a furminator because we get hair in the “big bed”. Mama has to use a roller on the bed every morning when she makes it up. Our aunt has one and she really likes it so we can’t let her upstage us.
My human always tells me how pretty I am, but her sure does spend a lot of time picking clumps of my hair. I know he’d love a Furminator – mabey then he wouldn’t have to run the big scary monster (I think he calls it a “vacuum cleaner” or something) anymore!
I have four labrador retrievers, 3 black and one chocolate, AND LIGHT BEIGE CARPET! Can’t keep up with the hair!
I just adopted a 5year old Black Lab/Great Dane cross that sheds constantly! My roommate is about to strangle me with the hair, and we have light tan carpet and tan couches in our house! EEKKK

Living with two siberians means wearing fur year round and not by choice! My clothes are always covered with it, my husband wakes up with dog hair clinging to his facial stuble, and somehow tumble weeds of dog fur float along my floors regardless of my daily efforts to eradicate them. Just when ya think you’ve gotten it all…poof! Like magic more appears. The chance to win a furminator?! Please count me in!

I would like a Furminator because my mommy is so tired of picking yellow hair off of her dark shirts and sweaters and pants. In fact, she has one very cute cashmere sweater she cannot wear because my beautiful dog hair is embedded in it. And don’t get me started on daddy….well, okay, here goes. He has to literally run from me when he is trying to get dressed in the morning as I recognize the color black, and I feel it is necessary to rub all over him so he can take a part of me to work.
Another thing is that my hair congregates and balls up along the side boards of the walls, then mommy has to clean extra hard, which she really hates to do.

My dogs are Service dogs and I must brush them daily. It is always very likely to walk into people with allergies. So I have to keep them shed free and need to leave as little “trace” as possible – in tight spaces, Dr offices, Opera, during classes for instance…..
Also I have two medium long haired cats and I seem to be allergic which is hard. We brush them every day and it is a hassle, because the comb we have does not catch all the hair.

I would use it on Monty, my nans dog and my three cats (one who has dandruff issues due to shedding, well partly) I have always wanted a FURminator!
I would love to have a FURminator for Cal. It’s embarerising (sp ck) when people come to visit and they leave with a fur coat.

We just rescued an aussie who had, what we thought was a short coat — well after aving 3 months of good food, she is developing a long coat and shedding all over — this would be a great christmas present for us and she would love it !!

I have three dazziling Shiloh Shepherds and my husband and I are starting a small kennel. We are training our girls to all be service anaimals.
Our pldest girl and our black face girl are both mobility dogs and out buff girl is bring trained to be a search and rescue dog. We will be donating a pup a year for a service dog. We really need a furmnator with all these furry friends in our home.

I would love to win the FURminator! My dog has short hair, but a double coat, and he sheds like CRAZY! I have to vacuum the house at least 3 or 4 times a week! Even the day after I vacuum there are balls of hair all over the place. My mom dosen’t like it too much. I think she may make him live outside if he sheds alot.
Since I’m only 14 I don’t think I could afford to buy one. I try to brush him everyday, he has a slicker, pin brush and flea comb, but it dosen’t help alot. I’ve seen alot of ads for it and it looks awesome!
I need a furminator bad. My mama would take me on more car rides if I shed less. She says the car wash people look so sad when she brings her car in and we kep the seats covered but my hair just flies all over
