First off warrent or not they shouldn't have walked in the yard knowing there was a dog there, especially with BEWARE OF DOG signs! IDIOTS! Then, They should have NEVER shot that dog ! They could have completely avoided this whole situation had they went about things quite abit differently! My heart goes out to that family for their loss. Something serious really needs to happen to these guys for what they have done! This is awful! This needs to stop! If someone shot my dog, I'd attack them right then and there, and ask questions later, just as they did. Can't they find another deterrent, one that is not a gun? Some sort of tazer maybe with a charge that will stun no kill? Some kind of spray? A better, humane way is there if they try to find it.
