Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul is a good one. With several dogs being in it.
Clifford the Big Red Dog is another one.

My all time favorite dog book is “The Call of the Wild”. It’s an incredible adventure story that shows you the world from a dog’s eyes. Another one is “Beautiful Joe”. I would like to find that book and read it again. I haven’t seen it in at least 40 years.

I read the book “Marley & Me”. I have seen the previews of the movie and can’t wait. We have a yellow lab, his name is Ping. Named after a set of golf clubs. Some of the things in the movie remind me of Ping. . It was a good book.

Our favorite book is “Go Dog Go” by P.D. Eastman. I was read this as a child, and I read it to my children. “To the tree, to the tree!” is a well-worn phrase in our home. This was also one of the first books that all of my sons were able to read on their own.

When I was a kid, one of my favorite books was “Brothers of the Sled.”
I just finished “Marley and Me”, and can’t wait for the movie this Christmas! I also recently read “The Story of Edward Sawtelle,” but it was extremely depressing!
