Having two dogs and four cats I am constantly trying to find petsafe products to use around the house. This summer I ran into a bad case of ants that infested my kitchen under my radiator. I couldn’t put down ant traps because the dogs would try to eat them and with a new kitten, well, that’s just inviting trouble. I looked on-line to find something and found nothing that I could buy over the counter. I ended up sprinkling cinnamon along the floorboards and spraying vinegar in the really bad spots. It took about two weeks for them to leave. What I would have given to try something like Eco-Smart.

I didn’t know there were pet-safe bug sprays. I’ll definitely be getting some next year. The dog park is always extremely bug infested. We (the parents) get eated alive.
I am definitely excited to see a petsafe insect spray! I always worry about the products I use around my house and the short/long term affects it has on my little ones!
My yard is full of bugs..I go out and get bitten by ant and misquotos all the time we have drainage problems and standing water does not go away very fast..The landlord does not do anything to help us combat the bugs and the fleas have gotten really bad here…I would love something organic to help keep me bug free..Momma does not like putting chemicals out there cause my sissy the kitty lives out there all the time
I am constantly concerned about the toxic things we ingest through our skin (DOGS INCLUDED!). An organic spray that is safe around animals is just the ticket!
I recently moved to Fort Irwin, an Army base in the Mojave desert, from upstate NY. There are loads of fire ants and cockroaches and other creepy crawlies out here. I would love pet safe insect spray to protect my family and my dog from dangerous insects without potentially harming my dog. Due to her disability, I am extra careful about what she is exposed to — her doctors don’t know if she may be immune compromised.
I went out to their website and they have alot of information listed on their products. It is wonderful that companies are coming up with ideas, not only to keep our kids safe, but our “Fur Kids” safe as well! BRAVO!!!
Living out in the country, we’re constantly battling with ticks and chiggers! I’m always looking for a safe and natural product to use on my animals! It would be great to be able to use a pesticide free product that works!
Wow! A bug spray I can use around Sara. That’s something worth purchasing. There are enough toxins in our environment already and so it’s nice to know there’s something safe out there.
We could definately use a pet safe bug spray! Just yesterday, Hunter was stung by some sort of insect (I’m assuming it was a wasp) and he got whelps all over his body, and his entire mouth was swollen. Luckily we noticed it quickly and were able to stop the reaction! We have terrible problems with insects but we’re afraid to spray because of the pups!
I’m getting rid of chemical toxins in my life and for my doggie Rosie. She eats what I eat if she’s not allergic. We take the same herbal supplements if they are not toxic to her.
She is my family and I vowed to keep her safe.
I refuse to use noxious chemicals on her that I wouldn’t use on myself. There has to be natural ways to defeat insects biting her.
I am so willing to try your product. I hope I win a bottle. Thank you!
I’m always looking for products that are safe for my Gracie girl!! And it’s not always easy to find. Pet safe bug spray would be great for when we are sitting outside!! Thanks!
I’ve become somewhat obsessed with finding pet-friendly, organic products for my dog. In the past three months, I have switched to organic dry food, organic wet food, and organic treats – I’m now looking into grooming products, and bug spray! Anything that’s safe for Grace (and for me!) is great!
since there’s 3 of us furlegs in our house & we’re always on the go, Mom is always looking for pet safe/friendly products. How pawsome that someone’s come out with a bug repellent that’s pet people & eco friendly.

I would love to see a Pet safe bug spray I myself had west nile four years ago.

We love to go camping in the summer and hike the trails all day, then come night( the best part) sitting by the campfire. I have always worried about insect sprays because Reeses is a very loving dog that likes to give many kisses and in these elements, you have to use sprays to protect yourself. I hate to tell him no kisses!! I never knew that there were environmentally friendly sprays and EcoSMART sound like the perfect solution!! We will all be able to feel comfortable now when were sitting by the fire and Reeses will be able to “slip in” all the kisses he wants thanks to you!!
With Hope living outside all of the time, it’s a challenge to find things that will kill the cooties without killing the dog. Cedar shavings have all but eliminated fleas on Hope, but did you know that cedar shavings don’t deter ants, yellow jackets, slugs and a host of other creepies? I would love to try a pet-safe insecticide to use in Hope’s kennel.
looking forward for more information about this. thanks for sharing. Eugene
Our near by dogpark is in the woods and we come back with a lot of mosquito bites. Sissy and her parents don’t enjoy that, we end up not taking the spray, it might effect the other dogs in the park. We have a pine tree outside and I got a huge allergy last year,we had to rush to the vet and we spent a lot of money. I get allergic to a lot of things- even food. It would pawsome to get to try a pet safe spray
I would love to use it as we have alot of ticks here and anything all natural/less to no pesticides would be best for pets and their people
Pretty neat idea. I’d be willing to give it a try! We go out to the farm and there’s all sorts of weird bugs out there. Would be nice to not have to worry about applying a product that was going to harm our pets.
My dogs and I spend a lot of time outdoors doing activities like agility or hunting in areas where bugs are very bothersome. A natural bug spray for them would be wonderful. I don’t even like to use regular bug sprays on myself because of all the nasty ingredients. When I do spray myself I worry about them licking me or rubbing against me and coming in contact with the pesticides. Household and yard products that could get rid of ants, spiders, wasps and yellow jackets would be great too. We don’t use anything for fear of the dogs coming in contact with it.
My dog just ate some Amdro ant killer. I called the ASPCA hotline and was told by a veterinarian working the hotline that the active ingredient will not kill my pet but could make him vomit. After that scare I will not use these products anymore and I know need to find a line of household pets control products that will not harm my pets.

I would love to try this product on Sadie. She is an older dog and I’m trying to keep so many chemicals from her. She doesn’t have much time and I’m willing to try other things to help keep her with me.
Thanks for sharing. Pest control with four fur kids has always been a problem at our house.
I am a disabled widow living on a very fixed income. Since I can’t afford most of the products on the market, the only thing I can afford to do is constantly bathe my 4 dogs to combat the fleas. My body will only let me bathe one every few days, so it seems to never be caught up at the same time. In my last home, sulfer granules always kept the bad bugs away. Since moving to my new home, sulfer granules has had no effect on the fleas. However, my yard is sure looking good because of the sulfer. So now my animals have some fantastic grass to play and run in. Please be sure and put my name in the pot for the free bottle of bug killer, I’m not sure I would get to try it otherwise. Thank you for the chance.
I much prefer organics because I believe we get too high doses of chemicals just in our daily life.
We live in FL and have bugs bigger than Angel!, so I’m always trying to find ways to kill them (or repel them). I always worry about the dogs because they are always licking everything, eating everything… so what if bug spray residue gets in their system just b/c they’re acting like dogs? I’d rather live with the bugs than harm my babies!
We live a block from a lake and have all kinds of pest sneaking in the house. With 4 dogs and two cats living at home and two greatgrand kids visiting frequently using insecticides is always a worry of possible toxicity for the pets and kids not to mention to us and the air we breath!
This is great news.
its better for you, the earth, and our pets.
This is pawsome! My baby is terribly allergic to anytype of insect bite scratches to the point he gets bald pathes. Thankfully since a change in vet, better diet, and a good product its not as bad any more if I catch it early. But the drops just doesnt seem to cut it, hes such an active dog he gets bit all the time and scratches up a storm. Its sad to see a balding husky.
With all the bugs here in TX and my animals safety in mind I would definately consider using this from here on out. I like to sit outside with my cats and regular bug spray not only makes me feel icky but the smell and taste isnt too great for them.
We love to go hiking and camping in the woods of Pennsylvania! As you can imagine, our furry ones tend to pick up the occasional tick, but since we also swim together, mosquitoes love to get us! I haven’t found a bug spray yet that actually works on my furry babies that doesn’t make me sick! (I have very bad allergies to chemicals) Maybe this organic would do the trick for us?
so no one is asking what are the INGREDIENTS in this spray? And whether there have been any tests to demonstrate effectiveness?
Maybe it’s citronella pepper or garlic, or citrus, or…
Pyrethrins, the most tested and effective of the “organic” pesticides.
Remember, people; “organic” doesn’t always mean safe in all circumstances. And it doesn’t necessarily mean effective.

I am excited about an organic spray because it is one less chemical you have to worry about putting on your pet. With all of the bugs nowadays, the only way to stop them is to use chemicals and too many chemicals is bad for your pet. Thank you for this organic spray!
We have three dogs & a large fenced yard. The dogs eat the grass, especially my little boy, he’s more like a holstein cow. We have a tremenous number of gnats day & night, so we can’t enjoy going out to play the the dogs. The dogs miss it too. They love to be outside playing with a ball or frisbee. We could REALLY use your help. Thank you developing a safe product.
