I want people to be more aware of xylotol a sweetner in gum like orbitz. Our lab ate a pack of gum and spent the day at the hospital on an IV if we didn&#039;t google all of the ingredients with the word dog we wouldn&#039;t have known and she would have had liver failure and died. Their bodies receive is as sugar and get rid of all of the real sugar and basically go diabetic. it&#039;s a bad scene. And she has gotten into her fair share of chocolate in her day and has been fine. Xylotol is nasty. I think the gum companies should have warnings.

I encourage you(wonderful) dogster folks to make people aware of this thanks.</description>
