Watermelon Loving Dog Starts Knife Fight
Here’s a rather bizarre story out of Boston (MA), it gives a whole new meaning to brotherly love.
Two Roxbury brothers stretched irony to the breaking point Tuesday night when one stabbed himself repeatedly to show he wasn’t afraid of getting hurt, while the other barricaded himself in his room with lumber and nails so cops wouldn’t put him in jail, police said.
It all started when the dog who belongs to one of the brothers ate the other brother’s watermelon, police report. That touched off a fight, and soon the two were shouting loudly back and forth until one of the brothers discovered the ultimate argument ender - self-inflicted stab wounds, police said.
So much for fruit being good for you.

But, what about justice for the canine-consumed watermelon?

It is painfully clear no one put value on the melon’s life! From one day hanging out with friends and family on a vine in a sun-washed field, to another day being crushed and consumed by canine cravings, this story is a mix of pulp fiction and tragedy.
Horst, I will patiently await your further divulgence of sensitive information in the case of the Oddball Brothers and their fruit. Gourd ‘head. I’ll be waiting.
