All of my ix dog over the past almost 20 year have been dpotees in one way or another,

The first was a snow white puppy that wa named Jake. He was followed a few month later y a 1 year old Huky/Collie mix named Isaac. This was just after Isaac Asimov passed away.

Then, just aabout 10 year ago I moved to Ecuador and a family wa moving to England and didn't want to transport a 10 year old Golden female to a 6 month quarantine.

Jake died in 2002 of complicaiton involving epilepsy. Isaac paed away in 2007 after beignn crippled in 2002. He was carried outside everyday of hi life and many time per day.

Keley, the Golden paed away in 2003 at tthe ripe old age of 15 and a half.

Then in 2002 I adopeted Neil. Neil wa an 8 year old St. Bernard with a bad biting problem. He now sleeps on my bed almost every night.

All he needed was concentrated love. Neil i now 14 yeqrs old and in great shape although he is starting to show his age.

Then came the TazMonser so named becaue he was a blur of activity - mot of it destructive. Taz has contracted cancer of the tongue and only ha a few weeks left now.

then came Nana - Nana was adopted from teh streets of Quito by a lady who was forced by her landlord to give her up o I was elected. Nana has yellow eyes and love me deeply. She attack everyone and everything that enters our compound.

The most recent addition tot eh pack is Canelle. He's a 3 year old Golden Female and he's as active and destructive as Taz was at his worst.

They have all been amazing friends - Kelsey and Canelle are th e only o called "Purebreds" that I've ever had.

I wouldn;t have mied any of them for the world.

Alway consider an adult adoption rather than a puppy. Kid will take puppie - sometimes it work out, ometime it doen't. Isaac and Canelle were purchaed for kid and it didn't work for them for whatever reason.

I wa happy to receive them. I hoipe whenever you adopt you will have great reult too.

Our home near Quito is named "Rainbow Bridge." That's where we all go when we leave here.

Well, I hope it is okay that I jumped the gun by a couple of days and adopted Izben at the tail end of September! He was in a kill shelter in Mississippi and I was there for business. He came home with me on Sunday. Currently, he's snoring on the couch next to me. I think he's going to do just fine!
