Young Boy With Cancer Has Puppy Stolen
It doesn’t get much lower than this. A very brave little boy, Ryan Morgan, who has been fighting cancer for four years is now fighting to get his puppy back.
The Dachshund puppy was given to Ryan for his 10th birthday. Two weeks ago thieves broke into his Barrow County (GA) home and stole the puppy.
Even worse is that detectives think the culprits know Ryan Morgan and are aware that he is sick, according to Channel 11 Alive News in Atlanta.
Ryan was diagnosed with neuroblastoma four years ago and has been battling the illness since then, the station reported.
For his 10th birthday in July, his parents bought him a miniature dachshund to cheer him up. He named her Dixie.
“Whenever I went to the hospital or something, I would always think of her, and it would make me happier,” Ryan told the station. “I really like her. She’s cute.”

some people just dont care.my mom had her dog stolen and my doggy mom was going to have babies so a friend of ours promised my mom pic of the litter when we were born and it was just 2mnths later that I was born and my adopted mom picked me out.I was very lucky and I have helped my mom threw the sad times.I pray thay catch whoever took your dog!!thay caught the man who took my moms dog but didnt do anything to him.I dont understand how there can be so many cruel people in the world to stoop so low.I hope thay catch them and stick it to them!!
Me n’ mama hope with all our hearts that little Dixie is returned to her boy. How tragic for Ryan and his family to have to deal with a loss like this when Ryan is fighting so hard for his life. If the thieves are caught, I hope that the authorities prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Jail time about all they’ll get from humans, but God will judge them later.
This is horrible. I live in Georgia and when I heard this, my heart sank. How can people be sooooo evil!!! What is going on????? Pet theft seems to be on the rise these days. I don’t know if it’s because of our economy or what. It surprises me, though, because people are struggling these days — what makes these thieves think they’ll be able to sell the purebreds they’re stealing. My cousin’s Yorkshire Terrier was stolen from her home in Decatur, GA on August 13th. They took other things in the home, but when she came home and found they had taken the most important thing, her baby, Rocsi — it had taken it to another level. This is just evil!! We are still praying for her safe return and I’m praying for Dixie’s safe return as well.
