I know we’d be the best guest ever at Ponder Cove. Rocke and I do agility, so we know how to act in a hotel.
We seldom stay in any real nice places, ’cause Momma does Schnauzer Rescue and spends her money on us and the fosters. She hasn’t had a vacation in a long time, but she needs one. I bet she’d go if Rocke and I could go with her.
We had a good buddy who was a Portuguese Water Dog. I know we’d like Ponder, and we could have a blast together.
We’d definitely be the best guests ever at Ponder Cove! Although I’m only a pup, I’m a well-behaved little gentleman who minds his manners.
We could use the time to strengthen our bond, since we’re rarely away from everyone else. Mom says she hasn’t been on a vacation in ten years, and I know she could definitely use one.
Everyone loves me at first sight, and I love to travel. I’m quiet, kind, and pretty darn loose with the tongue when meeting new people! Both mom and I love the outdoors, and know Ponder Cove couldn’t be more our style!
I know I would be the best guest at Ponder Cover because I’m the little dog that brought happiness to my owner’s life and all who meet me.
I’m 10 years old, going to be 11 in October—and it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that my owner realized the importance of me being socialized. I’ve done so well with being socialized that I passed my AKC Canine Good Citizen test a couple of months ago! I now go downtown with my owner where I love to walk right next to her side, to dog parks where I love to run around, and to nursing homes where I do pet therapy with a group of friends. She loves to take me everywhere with her, and even tried to get me to go on several trips but never had the opportunity to go because her dad doesn’t like dogs traveling in the car (although I’m a perfect angel in the car, besides an occasional bark here or there).
I know we would the best guest s at Ponder Cover because I enjoy the outdoors and have visit North Carolina 5 years ago and we loved it. We hiked on Crowder Mt and walked the streets of downtown Charlotte.
I am a 10 youthful year old White German Sheperd very accustomed to animals and people and staying anywhere from 5 star hotels to a camper. We are each others best friend and love each other deeply, she raised her 3 grown children (all grown now) which also I love very much. We love to walk the beach of Robert Moses in Long Island, NY mostly during the fall and winter. Please pick us! Love from Long Island New York rufff
We are “house broke” what better guests than that. I can promise I won’t chew your furniture, dig up your garden nor will I bark and wake up other guests. My mom trained me to help handicapped people but she doesn’t need to use me anymore so I just act like a best friend instead…I do keep a watchful eye out just incase she needs me. I love to swim and talk walks in the woods with my daddy. I don’t shed so you won’t have to follow me with a broom or nothing. Momma says I’m VERY AMUSING, still not sure what that means but it makes everyone happy. I have a real good licker, only when allowed because momma says ‘no sloppy kisses’ If you decide on my family I can promise your gonna always remember ME!
Me and my mom would love to come and stay with you. My mom goes away a lot. I got my new mommy last june and she’s been away a week and then she went away for 3 months. I wish i could go explore with her sometime. No plane takes dogs so it is kind of ruff. I hope you pick me and my mom.
Hello I am kobi’s mom. I think it wouldbe wonderful for us to win the trip. I always want to take my dog with me, but i usually can’t. We would play with the other guests.

Me and my mom would be your BESTEST GUESTS! Mom got me, a standard poodle, 5 years ago. Then she rescued Beaner, an abused pitbull. Now she has Magic- she is fostering her til her daddy comes home from being deployed. So her’s WHY we’d make the bestest guests- I need some ALONE time with mom. It used to be just me and her, and now I have to share her! I don’t mind helping out, but it has REALLY cut into my SPECIAL time- walkies, hikes, trips to get toys and such.
I know that Mom is busy, but if we won this, she’d take the time to give me a weekend ALL MY OWN!
PLEASE I NEED A WEEKEND AWAY !

I Would be the best Guest Ever Because I am a lady of Distinction, I am a pug and we must keep ourselves up to the high strung antics we are known for. We are Volunteers for Local Rescue and know how beautiful the leaves can be this time of year. We do not get all the beautiful colors here in California.
Why would we be the BEST guests ever? Isn’t it painfully obvious?! Look at us, are we not the most beautiful pack of rescue pups you have ever laid eyes on?
Really though, we’re very well behaved boys, and could really use a vacation to stretch our legs with the wind in our ears. We promise to be on our best behavior the entire time, not that we’re ever not on our best behavior. Wait.. that sounded bad..

My mom found me when I was just a pup at a local animal control. I was so happy to be rescued but had to learn how to not be scared of the world around me. Well its been almost a year now and I”m the star of our whole neighborhood. I love people two legged or furr y. I get so excited when we go for our walks that I get up on my back legs and walk like Charlie Chaplin. This makes all my friends laugh with delight. I’d love to win this contest because I know I’d make Mom so happy. She’s going through breast cancer but that doesn”t stop us from having the best time together wherever we go. We especially love the NC mountains.

As a traveling dog I am superb.I am a lovely Lurcher, fawn with white points and a svelte 85#.My mom is a behaviorist and believes in really good dog manners…I have had my GCG and Therapy Dog rating for over 11 years!! My sister, P.D,(Patti’s Dog)- is an unbelievably well mannered JRT. She is CGC and Therapy as well.
I help my mom, she has arthritis, so I work as her Service Dog and I have helped her around a lot of locations.She loves NC so I would really love to take her there!
Oh- I almost forgot- we do have a new little brother, he’s a Greyhound Rescue named Anubis. Boy have we been working on him. He’s a fawn ,like me, but does not have the personality I have developed over the years. If you get the chance to meet me , you will love me!

Hello! My name is Cooper and I am a rescued Great Dane. I just recently got adopted and really enjoy spending time with my Mom. She loves Danes and has done alot of volunteering with rescue prior to adopting me. She lost her boy Diesel last year and was in the courtroom when Vick took his plea. She has worked very hard at getting me well and we would love to spend some QT together in Asheville. She has been there before with her Gabby (she passed in 10/06) and said it truly is a lovely place.
