<description>These are all great tips! Also very good questions. Where are the answers to the questions?

How do you get a large dog down a fire escape ladder from 2nd, or 3rd, etc. floor? Throw a wet blanket over you and your dog and wait for firetruck ladder? Risky. Build a ramp of some sort? Dog escape ramp would be a great invention. Or some sort of safety harness and pulley system.

Pet stickers for windows. ASPCA has them. I got mine for free. Google ASPCA.org. They are plastic window clings. Work great! I have one on every side of the house, in every room.

Great idea! Going to put a leash in my bedroom!

All fire departments need oxygen masks for animals.

Keep tags on dogs at all times and/or microchip. Put tags on collars that buckel only! Collars that have plastic clasps (clip together) are not reliable! They do break easy! This happened to me and I have heard of it happening to many others. Do not tie your dog out with them!

Thanks for a great article!</description>

<description>Oujr bedroom is on the second floor and we have a 70 lb Akita mix. Is there any 2nd floor fire escape gadget for large dogs? I know we can get a ladder for us, but getting him in one of our arms and navigating down the ladder would be really iffy.
