Hi, my name is Ruger, I’m a chocolate Labrador. My family and I live on a military base where mommy and daddy work an awful lot! I don’t remember a time when I was last outside of these base walls. We’re in Arizona, and we walk the same hot streets and sidewalks everyday…ouch! I would aboslutely LOVE to take a trip where we can all be together for a change. Being a military pooch is hard! I would love a trip with my family, away from the city, away from the smog. I’d love to be able to experience what fresh country air feels and smells like. Ponder Cove sounds wonderful, and I’d be more than grateful if you chose me to take that well-deserved vacation with my family!

Hi , Im sonny Im a 4 year old cairn terrier and my mom, Dad and I live in New Jersey and we are very close and wherever mom goes I go. Dad works 2 jobs but he always finds time for mom and I.. I love riding in the car and taking long car rides. I am looking forward to smelling the new smells and pondering in the woods in asheville nc. We have never been there.We are hoping to enter and win your terrific trip to Asheville NC bed and breakfast contest.

Hi,
I think my dog, Abby and my mom would be good guest because we have never really been on a vacation cause we can’t afford it. And lately, all we’ve really felt is sadness and loneliness since our other dog just recently left us. Being able to go away, would not only be great for us, but also great for Abby.

Hello There.
Im Samson, and I would love to have a get away with my Mom. She was on a TV show in Canada, so we missed eachother alot. While filming Nanna would hold something to my ear that had her voice in it, but there is no subsitute for a night of cuddling with your Mom. I love to go for wandering walks with my Mom to. She is so nice and lets me off the lead, I make sure no to get to far from her because she trips alot and I can always get in a good roll in the grass when she is down. lol. My Mom is always telling me how good I am too, because I never bark unless she asks me to.
I love my Mom and would be so happy to go on a nice trip with her.

My name is Laci. I have 2 sisters, Mili & Sadi. Not blood sisters. We are Boxers. My Mom got us when she had to take disability. She had worked 35 yrs & didn’t have the time,( which we deserve), to spend w/ furry friends. So instead of going to Pain centers & taking all sorts of medication, she decided to get us to occupy her mind & contain sanity. Sooo we have done that & for 4 yrs now we have been the best mental & physical therapy ever! My Mom is doing better & now is able to travel so to be able to go to Ponder Cove w/us would be the best ever!! We would be good. We all get along great & all sleep together, take showers & everything together! We wouldn’t be any trouble as long as Mom’ there!! Mili says if we all can’t come, she’d stay w/Nana as she loves to stay there too!! Pick me so Sissies & I could really surprise the best Mom ever!! (:>) Laci, Sadi & Mili

Pnder…Buddy…Pal. It’s Mac and Garth here and we would love to come and see you. I suppose we could bring mom and dad even though last year when they went on vacation to get married we couldn’t go b/c it wasn’t pet friendly – We don’t know who would want to go to any place like this?! Anyway, we love going for rides in the car and we love spending time in the country with the beautiful scenery and wildlife. hi,my name is lilly im a toy poodle im from the bronx in n.y., ive never been out far from my house im very shy but very loving and well behave im a little scare around other dogs that are very excited because im very calm i would love to have an experince some where out of the city where is nice and calm and i could meet other people that are very friendly and could teach me new ideas and i could break out of my shell. there is nothing better than the great out door i hear.

Hello Ponder People and Pups!
My name is Captain Jack. My first memory of a travelling was when my pawrents rescued me from a shelter. I kept chomping at the air blowers in the car because I had never been anywhere other than a box and a cage. I now know freedom and love the grass under my feet, the wind in my fur and investigating all leaves that blow by my nose. I know that fall time in North Carolina will give me the opportunity to really collect leaves !

Hi Ponder! I am a 12 year old Cocker-Mix and my Mom rescued me when I was 6 mos. I am a little on the chub side as I like to eat the other guy’s food and lay around. But I trecked up a Tennessee Mountain a while back. I just love being outside in God’s nature. I dont get to go very often, so this gives me and my Mom some quality time together, with my 13 year old Sister. Mom’s a single Mom and loves Nature and Dogs. She works hard but would like to share some time with me before I go to the big Doghouse in the sky! Puleeez consider me! The BIG CHEX.

Since my mom and I just got back from a long car ride, we might be a little too late to enter this, but I told her to try anyway! I am a 7 month old Jack Russell that loves to meet new people and playmates. Because my mom travels a lot for work, I end up at hotels for work things, not for fun. A weekend away JUST FOR ME would be wonderful. My mom always makes sure that she cleans up after me since I tend to pull the stuffing out of my toys. I know the difference between my toys and what belongs to the hotels. My mom won’t let me chew on the bedspread, I did try! I appreciate you considering me!
