It is nice that people come out in droves for these puppy mill dogs. But it is sad that "ordinary" shelter dogs languish in shelters every day waiting for someone to come by and give them a look like little Buster. Often mixed breed dogs are healthier and every bit as good looking as purebreds and as far as being companions they are every bit as loving and loyal. So for those of you who didn't get picked, think about going back to the shelter and finding your forever friend there even if he didn't come from a puppy mill.

I'm glad that the puppy mill dogs got homes, but WHY would you rather have a dog from a puppy mill that could become very ill instead of a mixed breed shelter dog that will more than likely be healthy???

The beautiful lady drawing-out the lottery numbers is the mother of Dogster's Oreo (479917) and Snoopy (479924).

I have been teasing my pal, Cookie Girl, that her mother is a babe - BOL! But obviously, the Mama is just as nice, as she is pretty, to help-out with such a worthwhile cause.

Thanks for reporting this, Horst. You ROCK!

In Jacksonville's newspaper today, there is an article stating that Buster now has a new home. A local doctor has adopted him.
