PeopleWithPets has listings of rental properties and hotels that accept pets. How cool is this? When I first moved to St. Louis I remember how hard it was to find a first home with my pack then, coonhound Reba and Weimaraner Nigel. How happy do you think most landlords were to see US coming? 90 pounds of Weimaraner, 65 pounds of coonhound and well, uh, me. Not exactly a landlords dream, I bet.

Thank you for having a critical and necessary service for those of us who have dogs and cats. Having been a property manager I have always worked to get landlords to change their tunes when it comes to allowing 4 leggers but it is an uphill battle. I would be pleased to advocate for this cause through this organization knowing who and what for over 20 years. We are also renters so know the difficulty of obtaining housing with an animal. Hooray for people and pets. Great job.
To Lucky & Nala’s MOM , I am so glad to hear that your story had a happy ending, I know what it means to lose a loved family member due to the negligence of corporate mistakes not taken care of by retailers. I lost my beloved Shadow from feeding her Alpo last year and I am now in the middle of a class action law suit. Of course that won’t bring her back or make up for the trauma that I had to go through. She is my Angel in Heaven now. I keep up on all of the new entries in the suspect foods now since I have 3 other dogs and a new kitten. I a so sorry you had to go through all that, but you saved your cats. Bravo to you.

I am a retired business lady with excellent credit. Must relocate, as my building is being renovated. Have an older 88lb, quiet, clean VERY well trained, friendly German Shepherd. NEED an apartment in L.A., preferable with a pool and hard floors, tile or wood, 1bedroom @ $1100 - $1250 per month.
