This wonderful organization operates a spay/ neuter clinic, adoption center and they rescue a lot of puppy mill dogs, making them a leader in this campaign. The Director, Tara Beres, has testified before the OK house on this issue and has arranged some excellent media on this event in Oklahoma City. The rally is intended as an organizing day, to get people together who want to help on media, outreach, education and a strategy for the coming year.

We will be there is spirit…as a rescue volunteer homevisitor… and the proud adopter of one of a rescue. Bingo…we are just a little too far away but I hope this raises an awareness. These practices need to stop.

We are in Oklahoma! We will definitely try to make it! Phoebe (our newest addition) was a puppy mill rescue. Her litter was born outdoors the week before Christmas, in an ice storm. She was the only survivor. We want to be a part of anything that shuts these people down!
