Update on Edna’s Case, Court Date Tomorrow in Philadelphia at 8:30
If you’re in Philadelphia tomorrow morning, you can help stand up for animal protection by standing outside of Edna’s alleged kidnapper and murderer’s court hearing. Thanks to Bill Whiting for barking this in:
Friends:
If you, or anyone you know is available this coming Monday, March 10th at 8:30, we need to make a presence of animal rights people at Family Court, 1801 Vine Street.Victor Rodriguez’s trial begins at that time. There is a very good change this monster will get probation, and be back out on the street celebrating and wreaking havoc within hours of the verdict. A strong public presence may help prevent that. Please pass this along. I need people now more than ever.
Thank you,
a.. Posters will be available to peaceful demonstrators.
b.. Media kits will be made available to the press.
And more information from Bill:
Victor Rodriguez will face an adjudicatory hearing this coming Monday to face the ‘Edna terror/phone-threat’ court case March 10th at 8:30AM in Family Court> > 1801 Vine Street,
Courtroom ‘C’ Philadelphia, PA. It will be an adjudicatory hearing, and there is a good chance a verdict will be handed down that same day. I don’t know the judge or his name, only that he’s a ‘move it along’ kinda guy. All that said, because this is another insidious telephone crime, the REAL crime of animal cruelty is largely un-provable, even though few in the court system doubt its reality.Anyone compelled to urge change on that score feel free to contact William B. Petersen, President, Verizon - Philadelphia
1717 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103
Only reporters will be allowed inside the courtroom, but supporters are welcome to participate in a peaceful presence outside 1801 Vine Street, where protest signs will be made available. This should be the end of it…Bill

How about a detailed update on how the court ruled regarding Victor Rodriguez? It is hard for people out of state (like me) to get Pennsylvania news. I know he turned himself in and there is a court date scheduled (today). Did many people show up outside the courthouse? Many thanks. Cait
