Mardi Gras in the US — Doggie Style

Are you somewhere in the US or elsewhere with no Mardi Gras celebrations? We have a few pictures from some of the fabulous Mardi Grad celebrations including dogs.

Here’s a link to a video from the New Orleans Barkus Parade barked in by Izzy. (Izzy bark in your page number so I can add a link to it.)
So grab a piece of King Cake, jingle some really big beads, and eat all those great things before Lent!
The photos on this post are of the St. Louis Beggin Strips Barkus Parade. Thanks to Lindsey K. with Purina for these photos taken by Tom Gannam!

We have a video of our Mardi Gras parade here in St. Marys, Georgia. There were 5 German Shepherds, several Great Danes, and some other dogs in it. Even a Poodle wearing a tu-tu!
These photos are hilarious! I am literally laughing out loud. I think my favorite is the Timon and Pumbaa dogs. I wonder how the heck those people got their dogs to be so good in costume…? I put my dogs’ sweaters on them in the winter and they roll around all over the place and rub on the couch trying to get them off!
We have a Mardi Gras celebration and parade here in Deland Florida. It was Feb 2nd. My husband and I had so much fun that day. The dogs were great!! The parade was fun!
