HartzVictims — Has Your Pet Been Hurt by a Hartz Product?
If you have had a bad experience with a Hartz product, you may want to check out this site. HartzVictims was set up after someone else lost their pet and they believe Hartz is responsible.
I don’t use Hartz products in general. Many pet people have been suspicious of their products for a long time.
Thanks to Richelle for meowing in about this site. I hope it can help some furparents.

Here’s a little from the HartzVictims site:
The purpose of this site is to raise awareness and provide a one-stop website where consumers and victims can find information on the lethal Hartz Advanced Care Flea and Tick drops. It is up to us to get the Hartz Advanced Flea and Tick drops off the shelves! There are hundreds thousands of us who have paid unnecessary vet bills.

My cat, Tinker Bell, got a bald spot on the spot where you apply the flea medicine. We stopped using Hartz after that.
Well I never heard of this! What’s wrong with Hartz?
I use the shampoos, this stuff for fleas and ticks etc…!
Someone told that should be a good brand and so im using it cause i think my coonhound diserves the best and i dont want her to get hurt! hmmm…. could someone explain whats up with this?
I’ve never used the Hartz flea and tick medicines, but I did buy some of their meaty bonz one time for my dog Lady, and within a couple hours of eating one, she was vomiting! She vomited several times before she got it all out of her system. I contacted the Hartz corporation directly and complained and they sent me a refund. The rest of the bonz went in the trash and I’ve never purchased any of their products again!
We have had a terrible, fatal experience with our dog, Cheeto on June 27, 2008, for which we strongly believe the Hartz 3 in 1 Reflecting Control Collar is responsible for.
It really needs to be removed from the shelves until it can be developed into a product safe for living things.
Heart-broken in North Dakota.

I bought my puppy a bag of Hartz DentaShield bones. She ate one and after two hours she start vomitting white foam substance about 10 times. She peed and pooed fluids four or five times. She looked very sick. Finally after three hours of sickness, she came back to normal slowly.
