Actress Kristen Johnston Adopts Pit Bull Mix Pinky from ASPCA
I always thought Kristen Johnston was an excellent actress; I din’t know she was a great person too!
Thanks to the ASPCA for this good news.
ACTRESS ADOPTS 7-YEAR-OLD PIT BULL MIX FROM THE ASPCA!
Last Monday, Emmy Award-winning actress Kristen Johnston adopted Pinky, a seven-year-old pit bull mix from the ASPCA Adoption Center.
The friendly, feisty pooch caught the eye of Johnston, who spotted her at a recent ASPCA mobile adoption event in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Pinky, formerly called Cookie by our staff, had been at the ASPCA since she was rescued by ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement’s Special Agent Adam Gankiewicz last summer. She underwent surgery to repair her broken hip at the ASPCA’s Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital.A star of the stage and screen, Johnston received her Emmy Award for her role as Sally on 3rd Rock from the Sun, and shone as hysterical man-hating Beatrice in Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park. You also know her as Lexi Featherstone from Sex and the City.
But we think her finest role is that of dog lover— Johnston is an avid supporter of animals, having rescued several lovable, homeless pups in the past. We wish them years of happiness!

Way to go Kristen!
Good for her, what a wonderful story. My pittie mix Duque looks very much like Pinky, but he has one brown one blue eye. He’d not deafs but pretends to be when convinient. Kids!!!
Nice! Not only is Pinky a Pittie-mix, but also an older dog. Good for her!
