$4400 Bulldog Puppy Stolen from Arizona Pet Store

How crazy is this? If anyone knows anything or notices a strange bulldog showing up, please help Frank get back to the pet store or a rescue. I don’t like telling someone to get a puppy back to a pet store (knowing that most pet stores that sell puppies are not great places for puppies) but in this case Frank is in unknown hands. As a puppy mill dog, Frank may have some serious health issues now or down the line. The person who stole him may not have the money or want to spend the money to care for him. Also, who knows why the thief wants Frank.

Let’s not get into the how bad or uninformed it is to buy a dog from a pet store, much less spend this kind of money for what is no doubt a puppy mill puppy. For $4400 someone could buy a healthy puppy from a reputable breeder.

$4K Puppy Stolen From Pet Store

POSTED: October 18, 2007

CHANDLER, Ariz. — An English Bulldog puppy worth more than $4,000 was stolen from a Chandler pet store Tuesday evening.

The 30-pound puppy, nicknamed Frank the Tank by workers at Chandler Fashion Center’s Puppies N Love, was taken while a pet counselor was busy showing another dog to a family.

The worker left Frank the Tank’s cage unlocked. When she returned to show him to a waiting family, the family told her they’d seen a man pull Frank the Tank from his crate and leave the store. Workers and customers chased the man through the mall and said he jumped into a small red car with a getaway driver.

Bulldogs are the store’s most expensive breed. A woman who planned to buy Frank the Tank after losing her own Bulldog last weekend said the puppy cost $4,400.

    A puppy WORTH $4,400???

Hardly any puppy is worth that much money, maybe in our hearts, but NOT at a price!
The pet store is crummy, the breeder of this dog is crummy, and the thief is crummy, that is, unless the thief was only out to HELP the puppy and stick it to the pet store and the breeder! Hahahaha….how ideal THAT would be!

    Stupid people are everywhere.

Chandler sure is making the news lately; all about bad things done to dogs; let’s you know what a cruddy place Chandler is to live.

Goldie; I may have taken your remark wrong, if so, then I am sorry. But it sounds like you HAVE put a price on life. That’s really sad.
