If you teach a Bible Study and are looking for a good way to share your love of animals then you should definitely check out Teri Wilson’s All Creature’s of Our God and King: What God’s Word Says About Animals. This Bible study text would make an excellent addition to any Christian library.

I know that some Christians feel that the Bible gives them the okay to use and abuse animals as they please. But if you believe that your God would not take kindly to ANYONE mistreating His creations, then here’s a study test you can use in your Sunday, Saturday or Wednesday classes.

All Creatures of Our God and King is well-researched and offers many examples of animals throughout the Bible. The six-week long course is peppered with examples and experiences from Teri Wilson’s life.

So give your Bible study class something different to consider. All Creatures of Our God and King raises awareness of animal concerns while leading class members into more extensive understanding of animals are treated in the Bible.

This is great! “A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.” Proverbs 12:10

A couple years ago, I put together a little pamphlet called “What Does the Bible Say About Animals?” It consists mainly of Scripture passages with little commentary from me. I personally believe that animals will be in heaven, and I have found verses that give me hope that this may be so. My vet has placed copies of this pamphlet in her lobby and gives them to interested clients.

I’m happy to email a free PDF copy to anyone who is interested. I will NOT use your email address for any other purpose, ever! You can email me at: justthefacts16@yahoo.com. (Please note that I am using this email account specifically for this purpose, and it will likely be disabled after about a month or so.)

    God bless!

“I know that some Christians feel that the Bible gives them the okay to use and abuse animals as they please. ”

That’s interesting. I always thought that God said to take care of his creatures. Are we reading the same Bible??? I don’t know of one honest-to-goodness Christian that would use or abuse any animal.

That said, I think the book is great to educate people about the creatures in the Kingdom of God.

I know that when my time on earth is done I will be greeted by my furry friends who have gone before me. I look forward to seeing them again.
I read a Billy Graham column and a woman asked if her beloved dog, who had just passed, would be in heaven. His answer was “If thats what it takes to make it Heaven then the dog will be there”. I loved that answer.

Jack’s mom- I’ve heard that some people think vegetarians are disobeying God by not eating meat. They think that when God gave man dominion over the animals, it was like an order to eat meat.

it’s funny you bring that up Patrice b/c in Genesis it actually says,
“I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food…—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.”

yeah, it didn’t say ‘I give you all the animals you want to eat.’
