Thanks to Melissa for barking over this invitation to Dogsters and Catsters to assist the Humane Society of the US’ Rural Veterinary Services Program.

Hi Joy,

I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to let you know about Dogpile.com’s campaign to raise money for the Humane Society that I thought your Dogster readers might be interested in. Dogpile’s mascot Arfie has asked newly-minted millionaire pup, Trouble Helmsley (who was left $12 million in her owner Leona Helmsley’s will) to join in the cause.

Arfie’s owner Dogpile.com has pledged to donate $1 for every pet and owner that registers at www.supportarfie.com, up to $25,000. Arfie is asking Trouble to match the total amount raised with the money going to the Humane Society’s Rural Veterinary Services Program – a wonderful program that combines community outreach and veterinary education to bring free veterinary services to underserved rural communities where poverty and geographic isolation make regular veterinary care inaccessible.

We would love your readers to participate.

One Woof

This is a GREAT thing they do for our dogs!
I have been thinking about it for a long while but haven’t found the right way of doing it.
We wanted to give away a bag of dog/cat food once a week to Animal Shelters or have a contest who to give a bag to.
Anyone that can should help our forlegged friends!
Please visit Puppies for sale at PawSitesOnline and shoot us an email with suggestions to how we can do it!
