Egyptian Dogster Needs Help with Barking Dogs
Dianne barked in to ask for help in her new Egyptian home. Can any Egyptian Dogsters give her some helpful advice?
We moved to cairo, egypt 3 months ago and have not had one good nights sleep since.we got here. 5 stray dogs have street fights every night. They start at 11pm until 6am.
I complain to anyone who will listen but the police and council do nothing about it. I am feeling like a zombie. I cannot think straight and am constantly tired. We are locked in by the rent contract to stay here 6 months. Someone please please help me.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… put about 10 pennies in a can. Put a lid on it. (make several of them) Throw the cans near the dogs. They’ll scatter and get the message. It may sound too easy… and it is, but it’s highly effective. You may have to do this a couple of times. I don’t know how good your arm is but toss them over like a grenade. They don’t cost much to make. Worked with my dogs. Now all they have to do is SEE the can and they stop barking.

there is an animal shelter in maadi for stray dogs so maybe you can work with them to take the dogs
