You guys are silly… Why don’t you guys protest against he courts for given less time to convicted child molestors, rapists, and others that harm PEOPLE! I believe all creatures are God’s children, and I don’t agree with what M. Vick did, but taking his career away was too extreme.
Plus, I think his aplogy was sincere.
If someone murdered your mother and apologized, would it take away the crime that was committed? Even if the perpetrator’s apology issincere, he needs to recognize the seriousness of his crime and pay up.
If you’re caught shoplifting and you regret it afterward, you still committed the crime and are responsible for owning up to the crime.
Vick did the illegal, he has the same responsibiltiy to pay for the crime as anyone else.
Because he’s a celebrity , people like him and don’t see him as a normal human being … people are not “all good” or “all bad.” He may be a good person who did something very bad, but he does need to pay for the crime that has intentionally altered the lives of those dogs forever (they have to be taught to be violent, he intentionally taught them or disposed of them if they were unsatisfactory).
Unfortunately, knowing the climate of the sports community and his value to them, they’ll likely let this blow over and in a year he’ll be hired back onto some team at a multi-million dollar salary.
It’s sad. I hope he at least has learned his lesson and that this exposure has prevented some future dogs from succumbing to this stupid human “sport” or whatever it can be called other than horrible violence.

E…what’s that? Not brave enough to put your real name on here, huh? That’s usually how uneducated people are. Let’s take your mom and tie her to a post and let men rape her repeatedly. Then after that, we will put her in a ring with a man twice her size and let him beat her within inches of death. After he is declared the winner we will then beat her with chains and not feed her for days. Then when we are sure she has had enough we will electrocute her. How does that sound? That is what Vick did to these animals. Whether animal or human it is WRONG. He knew that the NFL had rules and he broke them. He deserves everything he got and I think that his apology was sincere. He really was sorry! Not for what he did, but for the fact that he got caught. I fully agree that the justice system in this country sucks, as I’m sure that 90% of America does, so please don’t try to educate myself or anyone else on what we should stand for. Obviously you stand for slapping criminals on the hand and saying, “No, no!” After all, Vick is guilty, he admitted it!
Hey E, Vick’s the one that threw his career away with the help of his so called friends, none of us had anything to do with it…… You would think a person making the kind of money he did would have better things to do then torture innocent dogs and try to profit from it. It’s funny how criminals are always sorry after the fact or after getting caught, and whats even funnier is there are people that feel sorry for scum like him. You should probably stick to reading the sports page E, you won’t find any support or sympathy for Vick here.

Why would people want to pay for this? because we live in a celebrity obsessed society and people will pay for something they think is going to be worth money or some sort of piece of history.

If there is a just court… he will lose all freedom, he will NEVER play any organized sport, he never placed any bets?
