ASPCA Looking for Human and Animal Pet Heroes

Do you know someone, with or without fur, who deserves recognition for something pet-related? If so, now’s the time to bark or meow that name in to the ASPCA.
ANIMAL LOVERS, WE WANT TO KNOW WHO YOUR HEROES ARE!
Know a firefighter or law enforcement officer who deserves to be recognized for helping animals in need? How about a kid who went out of his or her way to make an animal’s life better this year, or a dog or cat whose loyalty and heroics knocked your socks off? Here’s your chance to nominate them for the 2007 ASPCA Humane Awards. We’re putting out a last call for extraordinary animal-loving people and heroic pets in the following categories:
- Dog of the Year
- Cat of the Year
- Kid of the Year (14 years old or younger)
- Law Enforcement Officer of the Year
- Firefighter of the YearSubmit your nominations via the form on our website by noon on Wednesday, August 15. Winners will be chosen by a committee carefully selected by the ASPCA and will be honored at a November awards luncheon at Rockefeller Plaza’s Rainbow Room.
