Woman Who Murdered Over 20 Great Danes Spotted in Scranton, Pennsylvania
A week or so ago I posted about the over 20 Great Danes that had been horribly locked inside a house and left to starve. There’s a report that the murderer may have been seen elsewhere in Pennsylvania. If you come across someone you suspect may be the woman or someone involved with her, please contact your local authorities immediately!

Thanks to Patty for barking in this alert:
I just wanted to see if the story about the Bradford, Pa. Great Danes could be posted again. My concern is that this person is out there and has at least one dog still with her. The last info that came from the Bradford P.D. was that they think she is in the Scranton, Pa. area. This story needs to be kept alive as the person that did this should be held accountable. My other fear is that she will continue to do what she knows & thats raising Great Danes.
Thanks,
Patty

Dogs can’t be murdered. “Murder” is the unlawful killing of a human being. No matter how much you love your dogs and think they are “little people” they cannot be “murdered.”
John,
Thank you for barking in but I must disagree with you. Words take on the meanings given to them by the users.
Language is plastic and changes constantly. Take the word “gay” for example. In the 1800’s the word had one meaning. Over time and through common usage, it took on another meaning in addition to the original meaning.
If you read Chaucer and other great writers of other centuries you will notice that the meanings of the words they use have evolved over time to take on new connotations and denotations. That does not mean that those later usages are wrong; they are simply evidence of how life, society and humans have changed.
As we are changing societal views toward dogs and cats, a large part of that change is changing the words we use in describing dogs and cats. That also means changing the usage of the words.
So while the word “murder” may not be in common usage now in regards to dogs and cats, I would suggest that this will change over time and as more humans evolve in their relationships with those species.
Thanks again for sharing your view, and your words.
Very well put Joy! I could not respond to Johns statement as my anger was in the way. That aside, she has been caught & I am shocked at the “Cash Bail” that has been set. For once the legal system seems to be headed in the right direction, we’ll see. Sad but maybe these poor dogs will help make people more aware that a life is a life no matter what.
