This is sooooo cool!!!! Finally, dogs can travel by air without facing the threats of riding with the luggage! And not to mention the very exciting cruises and other trips! Wow!
I wanted to formally invite you to take a look at what my mom has been up to! She started a travel company JUST FOR US DOGS!!! She made friends with some “partners” and got us special airplanes where we can fly in the seats next to our human companions!!!
She also found special cruise ships that will let us go on board as well and arranged for shore excursions so we can go explore!She has us signed up to go on a cruise to Greece later this year!!!

Dogs will travel in the cabin of the plane along with their human companions! Nobody belongs stored away with the luggage. Aside from it being dark, loud,too cold or too hot (depending on the season), it can be very dangerous as the pilots may fluctuate the air pressure to keep passengers in the main cabin safe. Our dogs travel in style just like any other distinguished canine citizen.

My owner just took me up to this site and I love the idea. I need a vacation. I am tired of being left at the kennel when he and his wife go on vacation. After all, I am part of the family. I also saw that this website is giving away airline tickets where I can be in the cabin with my owners. I entered immediately and am starting to pack my bags.

We are Mercury, Chicago’s Skyline Cruiseline and we created the first canine cruise in the U.S. We are now in our sixth season and last year greeted more than 400 canines during our cruise season.
We invite you to visit our site, listed above, and see some of the pictures.
Each year we kick off our season with a fundraiser for the Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago. This year we had 70 humans and 40 dogs!
We also celebrated “National Take Your Dog To Work Day” on Friday, June 22 and had NBC and CBS (locally) cover it.
Our Mercury Canine Cruise season runs annually from the second Sunday in July to the last Sunday in September.
The cruise is each Sunday at 10 am.
As you probably know, Chicago was listed as one of the U.S. most dog-friendly cities by Fido-Friendly.com. We have lots of hotels, stores and outdoor cafes that welcome dogs. And in late summer, we hope to have the cafe down the dock from us re-open. The restaurateur offers a really cool menu for dogs, as well as humans……….he’s French!
Anyway, can’t document if any of our canine cruisers have come to Chicago with their owners. But considering that we can house, feed and recreate in Chicago with dogs, we see that as a definite possibility and wanted you to know about that…………and us!
