I relocated to Dubai a month back along with my litte mongrel to join my husband. Unfortunately, his building does not permit pets and for the time being my sister has accommodated our little one and I shuffle between both houses. We are currently on the lookout for a flat/villa within budget to accommodate our little one. If there are any dog lovers out there with their own pets and facing the same problem that we do, would you give some thought to sharing a large apartment or villa with us? I am crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Karina,
We live in Dubai with a 2 year old Golden. I’m afraid Bur Dubai is not the best place for a dog. The apartment is fine, but it’s a crowded downtown area where even going on walks might be a problem. We live on the Palm and have a lot of green areas where we can let him run around.
To anyone considering moving to JBR, DON’T! They just banned all pets and have mandated that people get rid of their pets within 30 days. See this article : http://www.7days.ae/showstory.php?id=74236

Hi, I’m Karina and I have a 4 1/2 year old golden retriever and moving to Dubai next month. It would be a help if anybody can suggest where to take my dog for a walk, I will live in Bur Dubai area.
We have a nice house in England and move to a flat there with a balcony. Our dog will have to get used to having a wee in a sort of cat litter in a balcony.
Any comments, I will appreciate please.

Hi Saleh, i have a 4 y.o. Dobermann male´. We are thinking of moving to Dubai for work, but we read about the new law in Dubai that banned this breeed, is there any way to bring our dobbie with us? A friend told us we couldn´t entry in Dubai with him, What could we do?

I am soon to be joining my Husband who currently works in Dubai from Scotland with my two chocolate labradors (2 yrs old), who love running around in the forests. Can or does anyone else have Labradors who have done the move to Dubai? and how will the boys fair with the climate change?and is there any good/safe Doggy Walks were my boys can be let of the lead for a wee run about. i have a 7 month female doberman shes very very active and cool with kids but but she barks on any stranger and she will run after any person, i need i need me a certified trainer with a good price
