Barbie’s Dog Needs a Poop Patrol
And to think I was just glad to have a Barbie who had bendable legs.
Thanks to the Herald Sun for this news.
Barbie’s dog – ‘it really poops!’
BARBIE, the doll with everything, has followed in the footsteps of her real-life lookalikes and got herself a dog.
And like the real thing, Tanner the toy dog poops out her toy food, leaving Barbie to pick up the toy “biscuits” with her toy pooper scooper.
The new Mattel set, which goes on sale in Australia in the next few weeks, comes with magnetic dog biscuits, dog bone, chew toy, and of course a magnetic pooper scooper so that Barbie does not have to get her hands dirty.Tanner is described as “soft and fuzzy and her mouth, ears, head and tail really move”.
Customers who bought the latest Barbie on Amazon.com have raved about it.
“This is the first doll my four-year-old daughter has specifically requested. She adores it (well, mostly the dog). My seven-year-old son has a great time helping her with the magnetic function. I do caution it has many small parts, we do a “poop count” throughout the day, as the pieces are as small as TIc-Tacs and easily lost,” said one customer.
Shame it’s not Christmas yet eh?

LOL! I saw the TV ad for this quite some time back, here in Spain. Yes, the magnetic dog biscuits go in one end and come out the other. When you consider that they go back in the front end again after that, what you’ve really got here is a dog that eats it’s own poop. Very realistic, in my experience!
