I HAVE A MALTESE WHO STARTED THROWING UP AND CONTINUED FOR THREE DAYS. HE SPENT THREE DAYS AT THE VET ON IV BECAUSE OF DEHYDRATION. HIS BLOOD WORK WAS OK AND THE DOCTOR SAID HE HAD BEEN POISONED OR HAD GOTTEN INTO POISON. THERE IS NOTHING AT MY HOUSE HE COULD HAVE GOT INTO. I HAVE THREE GRANDCHILDREN AND OF COURSE WE CAN'T HAVE THAT KIND OF STUFF LAYING AROUND. MY NEIGHBORS ARE DOG LOVERS AND I KNOW THEY WOULD NOT HURT AN ANIMAL. I HAVE THOUGHT AND THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT MIGHT HAVE MADE HIM SO SICK. THE LAST THING I SAW HIM EAT WAS A DINGO BONE WITH RED MEAT IN THE MIDDLE. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS WHAT MADE HIM SO SICK OR NOT BUT I WON'T BE BUYING ANYMORE. HE STILL DOESN'T ACT LIKE HE FEELS GOOD BUT EACH DAY HE SEEMS TO BE A LITTLE BETTER. I DECIDED TO RESEARCH TO SEE IF ANYONE ELSE HAD EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING. I WISH I HAD NEVER PURCHASED THAT BONE!

I had been giving my dogs Dingo bones for years. Around March they started having diarrhea. I would go to the vet and they had to give them flagyl and it would clear up and then come back. I finally went for 2 months without diarrhea and not giving them any bones. Then I gave them the dingos again and it was right back. I then noticed the Dingos were made in China and put 2 and 2 together. I feel really bad because they love the bones but now after reading these messages, I'm convinced it is the bones. Don't take any chances, throw away the bones.

I just had two of our 4 dogs sick yesterday after having Dingo bones. The throwing up, one with yellow vomit after all the bone came out. I also bought a TON of dingo bones 1/3 off on special at Walgreens and am ready to toss them all. Our dogs get 2 bones a day normally (only Dingos). Today our one dog won't go near the bones (just barks at it) and he wasn'tr even the one who got sick. At 10.99 a bag on sale I guess I'll see if Walgreens will take them back. The bags are specially marked by the manufaturer for the sale, not by Walgreens. The bone also smell like chemicals. I don't know... just adding my story!

My dogs love Dingo bones. Walgreen recently had them half price so I bought tons. All three dogs had the bones and two vomited the next day and the other along with one of the vomiting dogs hafd diarehha. Stupidly I did not associate this with the bones as they have always been safe and gave 2 of the three dogs another one the next day. These dogs then became ill again. One of them appears to have blood in their stoll with cingo bone in it and is violently throwing up!

I have 4 dogs including 2 mini doxie,1 lab,1 husky. One of my doxies started eating grass, didnt want to touch her stomach, bloody mucas stools, yellow vomit and fever. I treat my dogs as my children so they receive a dingo bone for each every other day. I took my doxie to vet and she is currently being treated with belladona and antibotic because he isn't sure if it is poisining. She seems to be feeling better on chicken, rice, and baby food. I will visiting the vet again this week. So I am afraid of everything, and taking no chances.

Perhaps Ben was looking at a different product. Meanwhile let's all avoid "cap locking" and calling other commenters names.

I know we're all very upset about this recall but let's try to bite the people who need it -- those responsible for buying and marketing the bad products.

Remember, play nice and everybody gets cookies! (That always works with my "kids")

The only treats recalled by Dingo are the Chick'n Jerky Treats . Denta Treats and Dingo Bones have not been recalled.

Hopefully, everyone's pets will end up safe and we will all e vigilent of the manufacturers to use greater safety measures in making food for our dogs.
