We lost our furfriend just before Thanksgiving last year.

We have watched in horror as many of the food we fed her has appeared on the recall list.

It saddens and angers us how this story continues to be under-reported (16 animals – yeah right). Our hearts go out to everyone who is struggling with the life and death decisions that are resulting from simply feeding your pets their food.

So if I told you that the official Chinese news agency ran a story in October 2006 calling the techniques used for the application of pesticides on grains "irrational" and that authorities were worried that consumers could get seriously sick, you wouldn't be surprised.
